Great location and property!

GREAT property, right in the middle of everything! I always based my hoteling experience based off of the water pressure...and for being in the Ozarks, this place had great water pressure! We will definitely be staying here again soon!

Last minute reservations

Last minute reservation, it was so easy and when we arrived the front desk was so sweet and knowledgeable. She informed us of all the shows and activities that came with our stay that had discounted prices. The cabin was decorated with antiques, that of course we loved. Location was the best, just minutes from everything! Will stay here again!!

What a pretty room - however, the room smelled very heavy with propane so we called the front desk and maintenance came immediately and turned off the propane to the fireplace. So, they moved us to another unit which was larger, but the mattresses were NOT good. They need to be replaced. They were not comfortable at all. It felt like springs in our back all night and sunken in places.

Perfect little cabin!

We planned a last minute trip to Branson, came across this…price was perfect…in fact cheap for what the place was! Cabin was very clean. Bed was comfortable. It was perfect for our family of 4. Some might think it was too small but we live in an 800 square foot house so for us it was perfect! Kids slept on the pull out and we got the king size bed! Loved the decor and the little balcony. Would definitely stay here again

The cabin was quaint and cozy. We loved the fireplace and the Christmas tree. There were a couple tweaks that could be made for improvement. Larger towels and at least a full set of silverware. There were only 2 spoons and three forks so we were constantly washing them. The king size bed was extremely comfortable, however the pillows were the small standard size. All of that could be overlooked, but what was a big disappointment was the fact that the mattress cover and fitted sheet didn't have elastic or the elastic was broken down. The sheet would not stay on the bed and every time we rolled over, turned or got in bed, it was a wrestling match with the fitted sheet. It was a real bummer as the bed was comfortable otherwise. With the amount we paid nightly, good sheets should be a basic necessity.

Random people kept entering our unit unannounced

We loved this cabin until the cleaning women busted in our room unannounced while using a code to get in our door. Then we came back another time and found a man in our cabin. There was no way to even lock the door while in this cabin.

Branson getaway

The location was great to get around Branson and the attractions. The cabin was cozy. The kitchen was well equipped. We found the hot tub needed a major fix and tried to contact the manager. Finally the 3rd day, he called back and was willing to give a compensation. I would stay here again, but would know to not expect to use the tub and, and that perseverence is needed if I wanted to speak with a manager.

Peaceful woody setting.

We enjoyed the peaceful woody settling of the location. The staff at Thousand Oaks were a pleasure to work with. We the cabin itself, there were a few misses. * The lights in the ceiling of the kitchen need to be changed...very dim. * The door to the deck had a huge gap allowing heat and bugs to come in. * The light under the microwave needs to be changed so you can see what your cooking. *The only place to sit and eat were the milk can bar stools and they were very small and uncomfortable.

Great place! Terrible A/C

We absolutely loved the cozy feeling of the cabin. My kids (1 & 5) especially loved the jacuzzi tub. The location was perfect! Our only complaint was the A/C. It was so hot! The units are old and the air conditioners cannot keep up with the heat (straight from the maintenance man’s mouth). During cooler times of year, I highly recommend!!!!
