Fantastic Find in Finley Woods

Welcome to our relaxing, comfortable, quiet, safe home that is perfect for your visit to the university, vacation at the Springs, stay-cation in town, or whatever else brings you to Gainesville.

The house is conveniently located in SW Gainesville. Celebration Pointe & Butler Plaza are close with Starbucks, Target, Chipotle, Whole Foods, Publix, Sephora, Nike Outlet, Cheesecake Factory, Texas Roadhouse, and more. There is quick access to 75 as well.

The house is in a quiet subdivision on a quiet street with no through traffic. There is free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the house and you can control the temperature with a digital Nest thermostat.

The Primary Bedroom has a TV and queen bed with an adjoining bathroom with a jetted tub, walk-in shower, and toilet room. All linens are provided.

The guest bedroom also has a queen bed, TV, and dresser. The bathroom is right across the hall with a shower/tub combo and modern amenities.

There is a LARGE walk-in closet that can double as a workspace, with 2 desks provided.

The living room is large and comfortable with a deep-seated sofa, blankets, and large TV.

The fully-stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare anything from a sandwich to a full Thanksgiving dinner.

The sunny dining room is conveniently located right off the kitchen.

The screened-in back porch offers a comfortable place to unwind and relax at the end of a long day.

Feel free to wash your clothes in the laundry room that has state-of-the-art LG smart appliances.

Free driveway parking is available. Garage access is also available. Unfortunately, we can no longer give out the remote.

Pets are allowed, but the specifics must be cleared with the owners.

This place is great. The house is nearly new in a really nice modern neighborhood. House has all the amentities needed and even some extras provided by the host. Great communication and easy access to the building as well. We stayed in Gainesville as it is nearly the halfway point between our home in Tampa and my Daughters current home at FSU. We met here to celebrate my 60th birthday with my family together. Next time we need a halfway stay location for certain this will be my first choice! Thanks !!

Kanapaha Weekend Wedding

I booked this property as a place to get ready for my wedding at kanapaha botanical gardens and as a place to stay on my wedding night. This place was so perfect for the occasion! Great Stay at Finley Woods

We only stayed 1 night however the accommodations were just as described and very welcoming. Communication was great. The only downfall was that we have a dog and the yard was not mowed in the back so the weeds were tall. Other than that- the stay was excellent.

Owner is great with communications. House is in great location for our needs while we are here in town. Spacious house and nice amenities. Owner was also very accommodating for a special request we had for this visit. Our third year staying here and if we are in this area again, will book again.

A few comments: The bed in master bedroom was very uncomfortable. There is a lack of comfortable seating in living room and bedroom. Needs some chairs. The fan in the toilet was not working. Carpet needs cleaning. Appreciate the snacks and the promptness of contact with the owners.

"Fantastic Find"

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful community, if you are looking to explore around Gainesville this is the place to be. The host is great which made the stay all that much more enjoyable. This is a dog friendly property but you would never know with the cleanliness.

Excellent Property

This is a newer, high quality home in a very good location. The neighborhood is quiet and the street is only for the immediate area with very little traffic. I felt secure here and enjoyed my stay. The hostess was very good in communications and lives nearby in the event there are issues. I would stay here again if in the area. I recommend the property.

Beautiful place with plenty of space

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations! It was spotless, tastefully decorated, and very spacious. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us. We played games on the screened in porch and in the living room. The neighborhood was conveniently located for access to the university (Go Gators!) and lots of great restaurants. There was a recommendation on the refrigerator for Piesanos and we ate there one night. We had such a wonderful time!

Another great stay!

This was our second time staying here, and it was just as wonderful as the first. Safe, convenient location and loved having access to a washer & dryer for the week. Communication with owner was excellent. Would absolutely stay here again.

I am a professor at the University of Florida and I rent out this house to anyone who is looking to spend some time in Gainesville. Finley woods is a wonderful community. We live down the street from the house, in the same community, so if you need anything during your stay, we are close.
My husband and I love Gainesville for its downtown nightlife, proximity to the beaches, Gator games, unique restaurants, and awesome weather.

You should stay here for the following reasons:
- It's close to the highway so you won't have to fight traffic to get out of town.
- When Archer is clogged with traffic, you can go down Williston which allows a quicker trip to campus.
- The community is very quiet and safe in a tucked-away location.
- The neighbors are friendly.
- We are 3 minutes from everything you need like Starbucks, Whole Foods, Target, Chik-Fil-A, Trader Joe's, Regal Movie Theatre, Nike Outlet, Prime & Pearl, Spurrier's Gridiron Grille, Celebration Pointe, Dave and Busters, Publix, Best Buy, etc.
- The house has everything you need for a short or long stay.
- The community has nice sidewalks for walking or taking a run.
