On and over the water of beautiful Tenants Harbor. Unsurpassed Ocean, Harbor and Island views.

Relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of lobster boats and yachts passing just feet from your cottage deck. Bring your boat and kayaks to explore the harbor, inlets and coves. Fish from the dock.

Located at 35 Barters Point Road, a ten minute walk to the restaurants, saloon with live music, fresh seafood market, bakery, general store, library and town dock. Sleep to the sound of gentle surf, awake to the sunrise over the Atlantic

Downstairs, the cottage has a master bedroom with a king bed. full master bath/ laundry room, kitchen and family room. Upstairs is a full bath, two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with twin beds All rooms have great views. Central air conditioning for those hot and humid nights. Built in 2013.

Waterfront view, busy harbor, restless nights, everything closed at 8pm

Overall, the property has a lot to offer: a great deck to watch the boat action, but the dock was not usable, so we could not rent a boat this year. The view from the living room was lovely, even on foggy days. The kitchen was ideal, with plenty of chinaware and cutlery for evening meals, which is necessary as all bars and restaurants close at 8:00/8:30 p.m. on St. George Peninsula. The downstairs bedroom was comfortable, but none of the upstairs bedrooms were suitable for adults—purely for small kids. Both my wife and I had to split up, and neither of us slept well for the entire week. The linens were not of great quality and lacked a fresh appearance. The location was convenient for coming and going.

Excellent!

Property was just as advertised. Really cute house, well set up and equipped. Perfect for 4 adults and 2 dogs. Our favorite rental! Peaceful location. Highly recommend.

Peace and tranquility

The cottage is fabulously designed with views and homey touches. My adult daughter commented immediately as we entered… Mom this is so much better than the pictures and it’s comfy cozy! Well stocked cabinets, amazing views, wuiet sleepy streets and even made some new friends! Bring sharp knives for serious cooking.. but perfect all the eay around!

Stunning View

A perfect get away with our friends to celebrate 30+ years of friendships! So clean, everything you could possibly need and the best views in town! Great place to come home to after a day of sightseeing to cook and play games.

Spectacular view from every room

We had a truly fantastic week staying in Tenants Harbor. The house was incredible, with the highlight being the spectacular view of the harbor from every room. Even on the couple of days when it was cloudy or raining, we were able to sit and watch out the window at a post-card perfect view. The house had everything we could have needed. The beds were very comfy and furniture was, too. There were plenty of towels of every type and they were super soft. The kitchen had plenty of supplies and the pantry was stocked with a number of spices. The washer/dryer was really nice and came in handy throughout the week. We rented kayaks for the week from Port Clyde Kayaks and it was really easy to paddle around the harbor and out into the bay. We also loved going to Drift Inn Beach - only a 10 min drive away and super calm and relaxed. And we really enjoyed walking around town - to the general store, bakery, and restaurants. Ronald was very responsive to all our questions - both before we arrived and when we needed assistance during our stay. We fell in love with Maine on this trip and really hope to be back again some day.

Wonderful, relaxing week in a beautiful location.

This was our second visit (first in 2020) and everything has been great. The location is top notch, the house is beautiful and comfortable and the hosts have been wonderful. The weather was fantastic, and the full moon rising over the harbor was a sight to remember. Thank you for everything!

Great family trip

We really enjoyed our stay at Tenants Harbor. The house is lovely, even nicer than the photos, and the view is amazing! Ron is a great host and communicated well. We rented kayaks from Port Clyde Kayaks. (free delivery) and had a great time exploring. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful home with us!

Great house

Great house with amazing view of water. Everything we needed was there. Would suggest providing directions for TV and checkout information. Also a few flashlights and/or candles for power outages. We had an amazing wonderful week despite 50mph NorEaster. Would highly recommend this property

Wonderfully authentic Maine location

Can’t say enough about our 10 days in Tenants Harbor. The house was so clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for us. We enjoyed our walks into town for the occasional breakfast and dinners - loved take-out from Ancho Honey and dining at the Happy Clam restaurant which was just about to close for the season. But our favorite part was the view!!! Loved watching the lobster boats come and go, as well as seeing some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Hope to make it back that way soon.

Beautiful Views

Lovely clean house with beautiful views of the harbor. Great kayaking area. We saw eagles, herons, seals right from the deck! Close to town and local beaches. Would stay there again.

A Perfect Place

Fantastic location, beautiful house, comfortable furniture and beds, great kitchen with all you need to cook a great meal, the VIEW......!!! Close to delicious restaurants. We spent most of our time in the house looking out the big windows at the always changing harbor. Loved it! The host was also very good, responded immediately to a couple questions about the surrounding area. This house was designed with love and you will instantly feel at home. We hope to return next year.

Location and water views

Best family getaway

The other reviews are spot on how special this place is. The location is just perfect and a great place from which to explore the mid-coast. We enjoyed biking in the area and having coffee on the dock in Pt Clyde. The house is extremely well stocked and we had everything in the kitchen we needed. We hope to be back again!

Amazing House, Amazing Views, Amazing Trip!

The pictures don't do this place justice!! The views and house are both absolutely stunning and the nearby restaurants are delicious!! Clean, has everything you need, and is so quiet! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!!

Beautiful overlook on Tenants Hrbor

Everything was provided. Quiet street right on the harbor. High ceilings lots of light. Very clean. Barbecued lobsters bought right from the traps couple doors over.

Picture perfect getaway in Maine

Our family sorely needed a relaxing vacation and this home was the perfect setting. A breathtaking view of a working harbor, and lovely, upscale amenities. Tenant's Harbor has a sweet General Store, a great bakery, and nearby towns of Port Clyde and Rockland are short rides away. Ron is a delight to work with, and very responsive to any requests. This place is a true gem!

Fabulous Vacation Home - What a view

I would recommend this beautifully decorated home to anyone wanting to vacation in Maine. It's Midcoast Location is fabulous for daily outings to all of the fun places to explore! The home is so comfortable and the beds are fantastic....there are amentities galore and now the best part! The view of Tenent's Harbor and the ocean beyond is just beautiful..at sunrise and sunset. The Lobster boats in the harbor coming and going with their catch are so beautiful. There are plenty of places for dinner close by too! We just can't say enough good things about our experience.

Wonderful, perfect location and relaxing!

House was everything plus! Location, views, salt air and water lapping against the rocks was a perfect way to spend 2 weeks. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great Maine seaside rental.

Outstanding location and outstanding cottage.

This was the second year in the cottage and we stayed five weeks vs three weeks last year. Tenants Harbor is a wonderful location. The cottage is situated in the middle of the harbor, where all of the boat traffic is visible. There are many good restaurants in the area, two of which are located directly in Tenants Harbor. The cottage is very comfortable, with all of the provisions we needed. The central air conditioning was a big plus on the days when temperatures were above normal. This is the finest rental we have had in the many years we have rented in Maine.
