164 Fishhook Lane is where you'll find serenity, lush green space, nature and a relaxing atmosphere. With 3 decks to choose from, you'll be able to enjoy the sun, an evening meal, listening to the sound of the nearby waterfall or stargazing.

Offering 2 primary bedrooms with King size beds and each boasting their own bath one with a jetted tub, 2 smaller rooms on the lower level, 3.5 baths, a fully stocked kitchen, fireplace and a comfortably appointed screened porch, with cable and wifi.

Enjoy the use of the indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, whirlpool, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, racket ball and fitness center with the rental of the townhome or catch that ever eluding fish (catch and release). Use of the golf course and The Woods Resort spa are also available at guest cost.

Host lives within the county and is available for immediate assistance if needed.

Wonderful Stay

An excellent getaway venue with a well-stocked kitchen decks overlooking the lake and access to The Woods amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice peaceful comfortable stay

This stay was exactly what we had wanted, a nice secluded area overlooking a small lake, yet having a central location for facilities such as the gym and an indoor swimming poolKim, the property manager, is EXTREMELY nice and goes out of the way to make the stay enjoyable. Thank you so much Kim!

Lovely!

This was a family trip after a long stretch of Florida fun. This place was perfect for us! Spacious, unbelievably well stocked and Kim the owner could not have been more accomodating!!!

Family Vacation

My family and I stayed for 4 days. The townhouse was lovely, clean and peaceful. The community was quiet and relaxing and the owner was kind and generous. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Great stay in The Woods!

We loved the property, it had one of the best appointed kitchens I've ever seen in a rental. The beds are super comfortable and Kim is wonderful, so responsive and a great hostess! Amenities are great in The Woods and the views from the townhouse are beautiful. We would definitely stay here again, no question!

Great secluded getaway spot for golfing, fishing, hiking and just relaxing!

Great property layout for the family to enjoy each other but not feel on top of each other. Kitchen was a great setup for cooking for multiple people. Recreational facilities were great and the close proximity to the golf courses was fantastic.

Nice getaway

We were looking for a place to take our grandsons and daughter and son in law for a few days and this fit the bill. The unit is quite nice and well equipped. Kim was wonderful to work with! Definitely hope to return in the future.

Fabulous Getaway!

We spent three nights in this TH at the Woods Resort. The house was fantastic - spotless, inviting, spacious, well furnished/decorated and very comfortable. The host was very communicative and helpful. Played golf twice and went to the pool. We had a really nice, relaxing time. The location overlooking the lake was peaceful.Highly recommend it and hope to go back!

Gem with great amenities

This was our second stay at Kim’s townhome and we loved it just as much in winter as summer! The amenities including indoor pool and hot tub, gym, and tennis court were perfect and the home is extremely comfortable and well appointed. Kim is a fantastic and thoughtful host, and even left us a shovel and bucket of salt because snow was in the forecast. I’d highly recommend this property in any season!

Gorgeous property, fantastic price!

From the moment we pulled up, we knew this was an excellent choice! Everything was perfect! Kimberly had everything set up perfectly so we could relax and enjoy our stay. She planned ahead and had snacks, coffee, and other options available to us to alleviate any and all stress. She was very quick to respond to any questions too. The price is fantastic for what you are getting in space, amenities, and the view! Will definitely stay here again!

Breathtaking

Jen your house was just fabulous! Thank you so much for opening your house up for us. Very spacious and well maintained. Sitting out of the back decks watching the wildlife was great. The pond behind your house was perfect, I caught the biggest fish this year. The atmosphere and surrounding area was just so relaxing. We look forward to next years visit. Again thank you!!

Excellent stay!

We traveled for the holidays to visit family in the area and this home was a great place to stay, one of the best in our experience. Lovely furnishings, extremely clean and plenty of space on three levels. One of the most well appointed, updated kitchens we have seen in a rental with everything you could need for a stay to cook or bake. The mattresses in the bedrooms were wonderful and plenty of linens. The Wi-Fi was also strong enough to work remotely and take video meetings or stream on our tablet. The neighborhood is quiet and serene. Great experience!

Beautiful and relaxing

This is the very best VRBO home I have stayed in! Located in a quiet community in WV, the home is clean, thoughtfully and beautifully decorated, stocked with things you might need in the kitchen, and includes passes to the pools and fitness center. The owner even provided welcoming snacks. She was easy to communicate with, just the best. She helped make our time away, which was not actually for a happy retreat, a relaxing and rebuilding one.

Townhome at The Woods

This town home exceeded our families’ expectations for our three night stay. Kimberly added many extra touches to enhance our multi-family’s stay; chocolates, snacks, condiments, and brochures of local attractions. The kitchen is fulled stocked, the unit is meticulously maintained and is tastefully decorated throughout. We enjoyed all three covered decks, the community tennis courts and swimming pool. We have recommended the rental to a local family member for their future visitors. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

A True Gem

My husband and I and our 16 and 18 year old sons stayed here for a get away before our oldest went into Boot Camp. It was an absolute beauty and just what we needed to relax and connect as a family. We cooked at the house, hung out and played cards. The clubhouse is also great and we ate there twice and was extremely happy with the food and service. Pools were perfect and we met a lot of great people. Kim was a wonderful host! Her home was perfect, clean and EXTREMELY comfortable. We would definitely recommend this home and we so look forward to coming to this gorgeous place again.

Trip back in time

My wife and I used to own at the Woods about 20 years ago. We rented the same type of property as we previously owned; a townhouse. This property was very nice in every detail. Very nice setting overlooking a lake with a waterfall. Would gladly stay here again and we probably will. Very convenient from the Washington and Baltimore area. The Woods is a great place to visit with the beautiful settings, great golf, trails, indoor pool (for late fall and winter) and indoor and out door tennis courts, etc., etc. Kim was very responsive to any questions we had. Had a lovely time!

Amazing Visit

Our family (7 total) had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. The property had everything as it was listed. The host, Kim is delightful. She called me to answer my questions, quickly responded to messages and suggested places to visit. The property was tastefully decorated and the kitchen was stocked with many conveniences. All of the beds were extremely comfortable and the two king suites were a bonus. The main king suite made us feel like we were being spoiled (balcony, xl jetted tub, remote controlled fan, black out curtains, walk-in closet). Luxury linens and even beach towels were provided for each of us When we needed more tickets to use the facilities, Kim had them waiting for us at the main desk in no time. A great experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Impressive!

My wife and I stayed at this property 6/12-6/14 for a quiet & peaceful weekend getaway. This beautifully decorated home has many modern upgraded features and is situated in a quiet lakeside community. We absolutely loved the 1st floor screened in deck overlooking the lake especially for our morning coffee! Kimberly was very friendly & helpful and responded to our questions quickly. She provided just about everything we needed for our stay including all bed linens, towels, soaps, shampoos, etc. Even the kitchen was well stocked with kitchen utensils, dishes, pots & pans, and even a basket of snacks. There is a golf course, 2 outdoor pools, an indoor pool, spa, a grille & pub, and more all within a mile or so of this home. This property is perfect if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway. We highly recommend it!!

Great time away

We stayed at the woods in Hedgesville WV The unit was beautiful (just painted) The pond outback was filled with geese and newborns We saw deer on the back roads and in the hills across the pond Kim the owner had the unit filled with snack and anything else you needed was readily available There was enough to go to to keep us busy like Berkeley Springs hot spas,Harper’s Ferry,Martinsburg brewery and distillery plus wineries we ventured to The roads test your driving skills on the back hills which you use a lot I forgot in Berkeley Springs there is a castle and a winery (the owner is a hoot) two separate places but near each other We picked this area this year because it was only 2.5 hours from home and we were not disappointed If you want to get away for a few days i highly recommend Kim’s place on Fishook Lane The bed was very comfortable so go and get a good night sleep it’s very quiet there . Thank you Kim for everything.

Mountain retreat on the lake.

My first concern was that the property would be cleaned and sanitized to its highest level since we were still under the Covid pandemic. Even though we had our own sanitizing products we found the home spotless and highly sanitized to the point we felt safe staying there. While we ran into a few issues with the internet connection, etc., we found Kim to be very responsive to immediately address them. The home is beautifully decorated and true to the photos. All kitchen appliances new. Before arrival I inquired about flower vases for fresh flowers. To my surprise Kim placed a small arrangement of fresh cut flowers in the home for me. The screened in porch facing the lake is a great place to relax, read, and/or entertain. Looking forward to returning to this property another time.

Local to the area, I'm a Realtor who loves working with people and loves "the perfect home". I think this little townhome is remarkable simply because of its location and the peace and calm that it offers. I love the outdoors and this area is filled with hiking and walking trails, lakes and ponds, pools and tennis courts. Having 1 child and 2 beautiful grandchildren, this home offered all of us just what we needed; a tranquil getaway for me, a place to take a break for my daughter, and fishing and bugs for my grandboys. I reside near The Woods Resort so in the event of an emergency, I would be promptly available. I look forward to sharing this casual, calm, laid back home with guests and can offer insight into local areas to visit and tour.

Local to the area, I find The Woods Resort area to be calming and relaxing. It feels like you're miles away from the hustle and bustle of the every day world. Here, I can find peace just sitting on the porch and listening to the waterfall or hiking a nearby trail. It's just like the state motto, "Almost Heaven, WV". This little townhome and it's setting offer me the peace and tranquility that I seek.
