Coastal self catering apartment - with sea views

We welcome you to stay at our bright and modern seaside apartment, in the heart of Furbo village, on the Wild Atlantic Way. With views of the Galway Bay, the Burren and the Aran Islands from the master bedroom this light and airy apartment offers the perfect escape for those looking for a family friendly seaside retreat.

Our private apartment accommodates 2-4 people comfortably with one king size master bedroom and one double sofa bed in the living space. Whilst the apartment is adjoining our family home it remains separate with its own private entrance and no open access from the main house.

The spacious yet cozy living area has a large double sofa that converts to a generous and comfortable double bed when needed. The kitchen/diner is spacious and bright with a dining table for four people. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities you would expect for a comfortable visit, with a large fridge freezer, induction hob, microwave oven, dishwasher and Nespresso machine (for the fellow coffee lovers!).

The living space opens through double doors onto a private veranda where you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast or relaxing evening drink as it captures the morning and evening light. BBQ available on request.

The tranquil, south facing king size bedroom room has beautiful sea views extending across the burren. We will be happy to add a cot or moses basket if required. The newly renovated bathroom is modern and clean with walk in shower and complimentary toiletries are included.

If you choose to stay with us we will be pleased to offer you access to the family gym. The gym includes treadmill, cross trainer, concept2 rowing machine and 2 spin bikes, perfect for the occasional rainy day we might have here on the west coast of Ireland.

The private deck opens out onto our fully enclosed family garden with mature trees and lawn, and swings and climbing frame for the kids.

We are very happy to welcome family pets on request. However we do ask that they are child and dog friendly as we do have 2 young children and a dog at home with us here.

Our apartment is within walking distance (400 metres) from one of the best beaches in the Galway area, Furbo beach, with beautiful sandy shores and coastline walking. Furbo village has many local amenities including 2 pub/restaurants, the Connemara Coast hotel, grocery store, garage, hairdresser and beauticians, local gym and beautiful walks and cycling routes on our doorstep. We are only 5 mins drive from Barna village to the East and Spiddal village to the West...with plenty of cafes, shops and restaurants. With Galway City and all its attractions only a quick 10 minute drive and Connemara and the Aran Islands on our doorstep there is no shortage of things to do during your stay.
