Seaglass Inn is the two bedroom, two bath with Queen sleeper sofa unit at the Beach Shack Too!! The Beach Shack Too consists of 3 separate units. Each unit has its own private entrance, laundry facilities, barbecue grills and outdoor dining areas.

The Seaglass Inn - two bed / two bath, sleeps six
Fully furnished with all you will need but your flip-flops. Fully updated kitchen with dishwasher, stove, microwave, side by side refrigerator with water and ice thru door. All small appliances including toaster, crock-pot, Keurig, twelve cup coffee pot and of course a blender. Two King beds with eight foot closets, queen size sofa sleeper with upgraded mattress. Two fully updated bathrooms with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair driers. Indoor full size washer and dryer. Dining seating for six. Outdoor patio with plenty of seating and of course your own individual gas grill

Our experience at the Seaglss Inn was exceptional and the owners were very helpful telling us about the area. The Seaglass was also adequately stocked with all the comforts of home. We are already planning our next stay.

Ideal Vacation Home

This property ranks #1 in all the years of VRBO living. Owners thought of everything (and more) to make our stay comfortable. Communication excellent from beginning to end. Ideal location to beach, bay, bars and restaurants. Can't stop raving about it!

Relaxing getaway

The Seaglass Inn was very cozy, and had everything needed to enjoy a beach vacation. The property was very clean, with large bedrooms and comfy beds. My favorite part was the back patio area, where we ate most meals and enjoyed the weather. It’s also a great area to get a walk or bike ride in (bikes included). Very short walk to the beach. The hosts are amazing!

Wedding

In town for a family wedding and couldn’t believe our luck with this vacation property. Every detail was well thought out and beautiful! We loved the bikes the special touches in the kitchen and the beautiful island decor. Hands down one of the best properties we’ve stayed in. Would highly recommend!!

Has everything you could ask for

We rented for a few days to be by my Dad. This place has bikes, kayaks, paddleboard and is a short walk to beach! We loved the outdoor shower. Everywhere we looked we had what we needed. Bigger than we expected as well. We will be back.

This place was exceptional. It was the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed at. It was very spacious and felt like home. The hosts even stocked the fridge with a few beverages and some snacks for us to enjoy. In terms of location, it was just a short walk down to the heard of Mannesota Key's dining and evening adventures. And it was even a shorter walk to the amazing and quiet beach. I will definitely stay again.

Wonderful experience

My husband & I, along with another couple were very comfortable in this unit. The rooms were able and well appointed. We walked into to town and enjoyed bicycle riding south to Stump Pass & a distance north to see the sights. We walked to the beach, even taking a paddle board. Lemon Bay was easily accessible which we toured in kayaks. Hosts were very accessible & responsive. A great vacation was had by all!

The apartment was very clean, organized and welcoming. The location was great with the beach and restaurants and short walk away. Thanks so much to Heather and Rod for a wonderful stay and intro to Manasota Key.

Great place with all that you need for a great beach vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is just across the street with beach access. It is literally a 2 minute walk. The cottage is really well equipped- they have beach strollers to pack up the beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards (all provided on site). They also have kayaks- we rented a golf cart and put the kayaks on the cart and took them to stump pass beach and launched there. We kayaked right next to some dolphins! We did a fishing trip and grilled our catch on the patio as they have a nice grill. We also used the outdoor shower several times. We will definitely stay here again when back in the area.

Christmas visit didn’t disappoint

So very happy with our 5 day getaway at Heather and Rods Beach Shack. Location was incredible. Rented a golf cart and rode up and down the 11 mile Island daily. Beach access sooo close!!! We loved the provisions and the Paddle Board was a hit! Thank you! Highly recommend!

Great family vaca spot!

Amazing property and location. Very short walk to the beach and the intercostal. House was in immaculate condition and had a great beach vibe going. Couldn’t help but relax as soon as you set foot inside it. Great amenities too. Kayaks, paddle board, bikes, grill, great little table on the back pouch, and an outside shower to rinse the sand off. Just a great little house man. We will definitely be returning next year!

Weekend Getaway

It was a relaxing time to sit back and enjoy life. Great food at local restaurants. My boys found over 269 sharks teeth in 2 days on the beach. We made great memories!

Perfect!

The Beach Shack is so cute, spacious and super clean. The owners respond quickly and are very friendly. We really enjoyed the snack basket, refreshments and variety of Kureg coffee. It has everything you need for the beach including beach towels, umbrella, small cooler bag and rolling cart. There is also an outside shower to clean off from the beach. The private beach area is literally at the end of the street. The restaurants are with in walking distance but we rented a street legal gulf cart from Venice buggies and had so much fun driving around and made finding parking a breeze. Although we were only here a short stay of 2 nights we went to the beach 5 different times and really enjoyed looking for shark teeth. The water was warm and not to rough for the little ones. This location is super convenient especially when having an infant that can’t stay at the beach long periods. We will definitely be back.

Rod and I are northern transplants from Ohio and Pennsylvania (respectively) that moved to Florida back in 1990. We have been married for going on 25 years and have two wonderful sons- Conor and Quinn who have kept us busy for the majority of these years with school activities, Club soccer and Boy Scouts. As we move into the empty nest stage of our lives in a few years we are working on our "Nest". We look forward to sharing this "Nest" with you as well.

The love of the beach has brought us together with you. We are excited to be able to share this Gulf Oasis with our friends, family and guests. We want to expand our circle by inviting visitors from all over the US, Canada and World to experience the quiet, serene location we have found at the Beach Shack of Manasota Key. It has given us great peace and relaxation and we have now been fortunate enough to own a piece of this paradise to share with all of you. And an FYI this property part of a triplex with a matching unit, Seaglass Inn, that offers the same amenities as well as the Flamingo's Nest that is a fully updated one bed/ one bath. We thought it perfect to be able to bring another family/friends and still be able to have your own space. Ask us about availability for both sides!! Unique Benefits

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Spending time with friends on Manasota Key led us to fall in love with the island. The quaint community of visitors gives you a sense of belonging. When you drive over the small draw bridge that takes you on to the island your eyes sneak a peak to the water to see if the dolphins are in view - you can't help but let out a breath of calmness as you have entered your relaxing destination. Many travelers come from the North during the winter months to beat the cold weather and stay for months on end- year after year. Others that live in Florida or the warmer areas come to get away from our everyday life even if just a short drive. While at the Beach Shack you will feel at home whether it is for a weekend -a week - or a month. The warm "Good Mornings" from those on the beach looking for Shark's Teeth (which are abundant if you look) or those you pass while walking/biking just makes you feel like you have found your Home Away from Home. The Beach Shack of Manasota Key will become a favorite and repeat destination for you- Promise!!
