Welcome to Paradise. Residential Hispaniola. Gated Community. Charming 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa with beautiful mountain and partial ocean views. Living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen. TV in living room and both bedrooms, with HBO, Cinemax and Showtime. CD/DVD player, private pool, air condition in both bedrooms, 24 hour gated security , 24 hour electricity, wireless internet, onsite restaurant, tennis court, basketball court, children play ground. Walking distance to town, beach, supermarket, restaurants, and bus stops. Car not necessary. Beautiful partial view of the ocean and mountains make for a relaxing time on the patio. Happy Hour can be by the poolside watching the fantastic sunsets. Guest permitted.

I had an amazing staying in this villa property in Sousa Jesus was very helpful and attentive to all needs very convenient to the bars/restaurants and supermarkets Just steps away from Sosua beach.Pool was clean as described also I would love to stay again and recommend others for this property as well!

Impressive, clean and relaxing villa

Only negative was the unreliable wi-fi. Otherwise, the property is very secure, close to downtown and beach, and restaurants.

Excellent Vacation

This was by far the best holiday ever! The house is exactly as pictured, Dee & Steve were wonderful. Sosua is a great little place with friendly people, a great beach & awesome eateries. We will be back. Our only complaint is that our stay was not long enoug, Oh & I need to mention Jesus, also wonderful!

I HAD A GREAT TIME IN DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. THIS WAS MY 2ND TIME STAYING IN SOSUA. THE HOUSE WAS BEAUTIFUL AS THE LAST TIME I STAYED THERE. MY FRIEND STEVE LARSON ALSO HAD A GREAT TIME. THE PROPERTY MANAGERS WERE VERY HELPFUL ALSO. ESPECIALLY WHEN WE NEEDED TO EXCHANGE U.S. CURRENCY. AND I APPREACIATE THEM LETTING US USE A CELL PHONE TO MAKE LOCAL CALLS WHICH SAVED ME FROM USING MY INTERNATIONAL CALLING PLAN. I WILL BE BACK AGAIN MAYBE IN TWO YEARS.

My wonderful vacation

i was very impressed with this site. The home i saw was the exact home i stayed in. Dee, the property owner, was polite, professional, kind and a absolute pleasure to deal with. Any question, Dee was available. The property was well maintained, the maid was great. It was a great vacation! I will stay at this property again and will book through Homeaway again! The house is in a great location. Safe. Close to the town, but far enough away to be quiet at night. I love this place! Thank you Dee for a great, relaxing and fun vacation! You have a beautiful home! Thank you for sharing it with me! I will return! Robert

Nice stat at the Hispaniola

Nice stay at the villa. Just a few notes. As with most villa properties, do not expect 100% privacy in the back yard. This one is no different, workers will pop through the foliage at random times during the day. Villa itself was good. Quiet! Had some issues with the guest bedroom shower but it was fixed by the manager. Oh and one side note, the second guest bedroom gets a lot of early morning sunlight. Just an FYI if that bothers you. The walk into town was only 10 minutes. Fun times overall.

Private pool, you need this.

5 stars. Security, house keeping, and the manager Jesus are all amazing. Stay here, it's the perfect location. Close to everything but far enough away to be quiet. Will stay here again, hopefully soon. Highway recommended. Go up the hill to the Mundo King Museum (walkable). It is beyond awesome and totally I expected. A few things to know - each registered guest can bring 1 local guest to the house. - that guest must be driven to/from the house, they cannot walk anywhere within the development, so you need to taxi in that situation. Call Max, his number is in the villa. - The management also recommends that local guests do not use the pool. Ours did, no issues, but we were not loud. - Walk to town/beach, yes, however the road into town is busy, with no sidewalk, and it's muddy. And back from town is uphill the whole way. Not bad, but a hill none the less. - A supermarket with an ATM and a pharmacy is close.

A WINTER in the DR

For the most part we enjoyed our stay. The property has a major shortcoming in that it has no outdoor sitting area for shade or protection during rainy days. A small umbrella was insufficient for much protection by the pool. For short term stays this might not pose a problem but for our two months it was somewhat restrictive. The house was clean and kept so by a very friendly and helpful cleaning lady. The pool, at times, needed more frequent attention. The house was conveniently located to the centre of Sousa. The house “manager” Jesus was very responsive and helpful.

Beautiful place!

My kids and I stayed a week at this beautiful place. Not only was the property beautiful and well taken care of, but communication was also amazing and the location to the beach, but stores and downtown were also perfect. We highly recommend this place!

Excellent!!

Going to the DR for the first time, I wanted to be sure that we are making the right decision about where we stay! Staying here was absolutely the right decision. It's safe (gated), clean, spacious with a private pool that the kids enjoyed a lot. The villa is located at a walking distance from Sosua (downtown) and its a nice walk. The maids came everyday to clean the dishes and change the sheets etc. We highly recommend this property!

Beautiful 2BR villa walking distance to the beach/supermarket in gated community with 24/7 security

Dee communicated well throughout the booking process and during the trip and Jesus the property manager was always available on site when we needed him. Made for a great experience, will definitely be back!!

Love the House

The house was great. It's in a great location within walking distance of everything. The pool was nice especially at night. The maid came by cleaned up everyday. I definitely would stay here again!

Great Villa in Excellent Location

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this villa in Sosua. It was charming and in an excellent location. Everything was close…..supermarket, bank, beach, restaurants, and bars. Hispaniola is what of the best gated neighborhoods in Sosua. And the villa had everything we needed….especially good Wi-Fi! Even though you are in a neighborhood with other villas, the landscaping around the pool makes it private and intimate. Dee was very informative and Jesus, the property manager, made sure we were good. I would definitely recommend this villa and plan on staying again!!
