Holly Hollow , part of our Professional Designer Series, is just stunning with 2 bedrooms/2 bath, fenced area, hot tub, firepit, Covered porch, lounging deck and it is secluded. All roads are paved to this Cherry Log cabin. Perfect for 2 couples. This Sliding Rock Cabin is an ADULT ONLY cabin (no guests under age 25).and please no cats owner is highly allergic. We encourage you to protect your vacation investment with a travel insurance of your choice. PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW.

Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be submitted in writing and confirmed received by Sliding Rock Cabins® more than thirty-one (31) days prior to the original check-in date in order to receive refund, less a Sixty Five Dollar ($65) cancellation fee. Said changes regardless of reason made within thirty-one (31) days of your original check-in date will result in a forfeiture of all moneys paid. All moneys paid are non-transferable to another rescheduled date. Refunds will be given if Agent can re-book said dates with another guest limited to the extent of rebooking. Agents are not responsible for Guests inability to arrive or if Guests chooses to depart early for any reason, or if members of Guests party do not show up. Great ozy place

The cabin was in great shape and the stay was enjoyable. It was perfectly located to do the things we wanted as well as do nothing but relax. Only complaint would be the internet as it was not strong enough to stream or do things as simple as facebook. Therewas cable TV

Can you rent perfection?

We stayed at Holly Hollow for a little over three weeks and loved it the entire time. The house is beautifully built, furnished and decorated, and we had everything we needed to call it home. I was amazed at the craftsmanship of this Sisson home… so many extras, so much storage area, so comfortable for all of us, which includes our 6 yr old mini poodle.How nice to discover such a beautiful cabin that is dog friendly! Sliding Rock Cabins could not have been easier to work with ! They were responsive to every request and attentive to each phone call, text, or email . I hope we can return someday.We live in southwest Florida, so coming to the mountains was a refreshing respite from the heat and humidity we endure during the summer. It was all close to perfection!

We had a good time at Holly Hollow cabin. Peaceful and beautiful location. Cabin was clean inside, however, the living room rugs had strong smell of dog urine. The outside space was not what we expected concerning cleanliness, which prevented us from enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

The Most Spacious Cabin Yet!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a wonderful cabin with plenty of room for 2 couples to enjoy comfortably. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are on the same level with plenty of comfortable seating inside and outside. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. My only hesitation in highly recommending this cabin is that it might not be available the next time we want to go back to the mountains! Sliding Rock is always professional and we highly recommend them also.

Great place to be weather-trapped...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Holly Hollow in January, 2024. We booked a week, but had to arrive late due to weather at our home location. We then had to stay over a couple of days because of weather at our eventual destination in KY. Sliding Rock worked with us every step of the way and we were able to extend our stay with no problems. The cabin is very comfortable, spacious enough to 2 people and 2 dogs, and we were warm inside even with 4 degree temps outside. It was easy to find from the paper directions they sent us, and we were in the quiet woods just 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. This is one of the top 2 or 3 cabins we've stayed in over a 50 year history of renting vacation properties. Also, Sliding Rock is a very fair and flexible rental agency. We've booked with them for years in the Ellijay-Blue Ridge area. They are very responsive to the needs of their guests.

New Year’s Getaway

We come to north Ga with family every year for New Year’s. We love to hike and enjoy the wineries in the area. We enjoy the Cherry Log location for its beauty and convenience. This cabin was very cute and cozy however we feel there are some things that should be addressed. The kitchen had all the necessities although some of the plastic cooking (spatulas,etc) need to be replaced. The area where the hot tub is shows lots of wear and tear so not very inviting. The rugs in the bathroom need replacing or washing. The indoor gas fireplace was great! The second bedroom is very small for two couples. They didn’t have much room to put things away. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was absolutely perfect. The pictures and description are exactly what you get. The location was ideal-easy access to both Ellijay and Blue Ridge. This kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and dishes. There pet friendliness is top notch-they even provide sheets to cover the furniture so you don't leave fur behind. Super easy to work with, will absolutely stay again.

September 2023 Stay

Great stay for 3 nights. Sliding Rock and the owners always provide a great place to stay. There are lots of amenities and you are close to Blue Ridge, Ellijay, and Jasper. We are repeat stays and we will book again! Thanks for the great cabin!!

Great cabin in the mountains!

We had a wonderful getaway weekend at this cabin. The fire pit and hot tub were so wonderful amongst the trees. While it was a trek to reach, the seclusion of the cabin was so nice. The cabin was well taken care of and overall we can a great experience.

Dog Parents’ Paradise!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the MOST fabulous time at Holly Hollow! The interior cabin was beautiful and well-maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed the master suite, comfortable little living room, and very well-equipped kitchen. The upper deck turned out to be my happy place with two awesome Adirondack chairs and a swing. Especially with the perfect weather, we were able to leave the door open so the pups could go in and out. We loved that they were able to have the run of the decks and side yard without worry. We used the hot tub every day, and it was a perfect 103 every time. The Bluetooth speaker was a nice touch!Also, the location of the cabin was absolutely perfect. The roads are paved all the way, and it’s very central to Blue Ridge, Ellijay, and everything we needed. The only drawback was that the fire pit was not enclosed within a fence, so the dogs couldn’t come down there with us. It wasn’t fun to have to keep them on leashes there, so they just watched us with sad faces from the gate. We also had to rig something to block the main porch gate, because it was missing some pieces when we arrived and our smaller dog could walk right through it. Oh, and the bottom deck was covered in pollen. We sprayed everything off when we got there and understand this may have been unavoidable. Overall, highly recommended!

Lovely Cabin in the Woods

We had a relaxing and comfortable stay in the Holly Hollow Cabin. It was very close to Blue Ridge and other places. We especially loved being able to bring our dog! Our friends visiting from France were very happy with our choice.
