Spacious Modern Farmhouse Casita in Castro Valley Countryside with Private Patio

Our Modern Farmhouse Casita welcomes you with a open concept inviting floorplan to relax and unwind. It is a spacious 990 sq feet with vaulted ceilings, architectural beams and relaxing color scheme! Living Room offers a 75" TV with a comfy couch and ottoman. There is a designated Adjustable desk that accommodates work trips or distance learning guests. The largest bedroom offers a Plush CalKing bed with Oversized Closet and a 55" Smart TV. Smaller Bedroom offers Full size bed and a dresser with a standard closet. Queen size AeroBed Inflatable Mattress available. Listed price is for 4 people. Additional $25/person/night up to a maximum of 6 person maximum occupancy.

It has a Full Updated Kitchen (Refrigerator/Range/ Dishwasher/Microwave/Cook Ware/Dinner Ware) with Beautiful large Island. Full size washer & dryer in unit. Drive up to your own private entrance and gated areas. We include a Patio Set, inviting outdoor seating & BBQ to enjoy the outdoors & relax under the bistro lights and canyon views!

Property is located on One Acre of land where the Owners live in the front main house but have gated the area around the Casita for your complete privacy. We have our privacy and you have yours. NO parties allowed. NO unregistered guests unless owners are notified and approve.

Property is on a Water Well and Septic System. ALL the water that enters the Casita is filtered. In addition, we have a Reverse Osmosis-filtration system in the kitchen for drinking and cooking. We suggest disposing of toilet paper in the waste basket.

We are located in a quite rural area of Castro Valley but only a short 5 min car ride to town of Castro Valley and city of San Ramon. Accessible to San Ramon's THE LOT City Center with Shopping, Restaurants and upscale Movie Theatre, various Amenities, 580/680 freeways & BART trains. Just 20 Miles to Oakland, 30 Miles to San Francisco and 20 minute Uber ride to Livermore Wine country!

A very comfy hideaway

Having relocated to Florida and needing to see Bay Area family and friends east and west of Castro Valkey, we found the property perfectly situated and beautifully appointed.It was beyond our expectations for privacy and tranquility.

Great Place

Great space... Very safe and gated. Everything was clean and well taken care of. We used this as an in-between to San Fran and Concord where we saw a concert. Hosts were very communicative. Would definitely recommend.

This place is the perfect location for those looking to vacation in San Francisco and surrounding Bay Area. It was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and very private. The home is well Stocked with items to make sure you are comfortable and the location is peaceful. We felt right at home!

Best stay!

My colleague and I stayed at this fantastic property for a month because of school. Everything was clean, and there were plenty of amenities that were provided. It was exactly what we needed during this time and provided a peaceful place to get work done. We had the best month's stay here. We especially loved their outside cat and peach tree!

Fantastic

Abril & Ricardo’s Casita was perfect for my work trip. The Casita is extremely clean, pleasant and comfortable and the outdoor space is private, spacious and relaxing. Abril and Ricardo were entirely accommodating and were perfect hosts. Highly recommend.

Amazing peaceful casita

I highly recommend this property. The owner was very responsive as I had a few questions before/after I booked. The check in procedure was smooth and simple. The house was immaculate with nice new appliances and everything you need. The space is well utilized. The primary bedroom was very comfortable. We did not use the second bedroom but it looked equally beautiful. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful place to stay I would definitely recommend the casita. This is one of the best places I have stayed in and we travel often.

Lovely, large open living/dining room worked perfectly for pre-wedding preparations of the bride and eight women, plus hairstylist and makeup person. Hosts were quick to respond and supportive when asked in advance if this use of the space was okay. Only one suggestion would be a little lighter scent to cleaning products. When we first arrived, we had to open windows to reduce some of the strong smell of air freshener, which was not needed. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and we’ll supplied with essentials in the kitchen.

Gorgeous, Very Clean, Comfy Casita

The Casita was beautiful. The indoor space and the outdoor space are private and everything is brand new, shiny, and very organized. Couches and chairs were clean, as well as beds and carpets. Kitchen and bathroom was also very clean. The kitchen is so bright and shiny. Appliances and floors are also shiny and clean. Extra towels in both rooms as well as blankets. Beds are super comfy. Outdoor area is lovely with ample sitting areas, and very spacious. There are views of the canyon and hills on both the front and back of house where you can see sheep and horses grazing daily! That was such a perk along with the location being just gorgeous. We were pretty shocked at how cold it was some evenings/mornings, frosty at times and low 40s, but the Casita has forced air heat in the living room and master that is superb, then a space heater in other bedroom. The house was so so cozy and warm. We are from Boston so we are def used to the cold and thankful that there was heat as we didn’t anticipate it being that chilly. We contacted the owners just a couple of times and they were very responsive immediately. We landed a bit early and let the owners know and they let us check in a bit early which was great. This property feels like a hidden gem in the hills and the location alone is well worth it. Thank you Mora family for a wonderful stay!
