We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed the peaceful setting, beautiful views, and all the little touches like the games, firewood, and comfy beds. It sounds like you really embraced the mountain getaway experience! The driveway is somewhat steep, but it’s fully paved, which makes it accessible for all vehicles—and many guests have shared that the drive adds to the adventure and makes arriving feel even more special. We understand the location may feel a bit out of the way, but that’s part of what makes a mountain stay so relaxing—surrounded by nature and away from the crowds. In the mountains, a 20- to 30-minute drive to restaurants, hiking trails, or shops is pretty standard, and we make sure the location is clearly shown on the VRBO map so guests can plan ahead. Thanks also for mentioning the trash policy. Since there’s no residential pickup in our rural area, guests drop trash and recyclables at the nearby convenience center (SRC) which is right along the route out. Because the SRC is closed on Sundays, we simply ask Sunday checkout guests to drop off what they can on Saturday. Thank you again for recommending Tuck’d Inn! :)
