This was amazing. The house is beautiful the view is remarkable. We visited just as a blizzard rolled in and the host was concerned and offered us an additional night. The absolute best experience ever!!

Host was awesome! Very nice and responsive. Plenty of room to park for 3 trucks and three 2 sled trailers. There were four of us and each each had our own space for sleeping. The thot rub and sauna were nice treats

We had a fabulous time! For the most part everything was perfect. Could never figure out the heat for the basement so that was chilly!! Beautiful view of the lake. We went for snowmobiling and had easy access to a trail. The shower was interesting but always had hot water.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The property and home are beautiful and well maintained. So many fun things to do in and outside of the home, and a really comfortable, clean and inviting space. Our host was very helpful and responsive. We will definitely be back!

Terrific Stay

I was so happy to recreate memories of my childhood with my own kids up in the Northwoods! The location is fantastic and it truly is as private as they come! Would absolutely recommend this rental to any and all looking for a serene setting!

Fantastic Family Stay

We loved the spacious home and the beach/lake access. We used the paddle board, kayaks, and swim matts daily. The hot tub and sauna were also big hits.

Family vacation 2025

What an amazing and relaxing week we had at this cabin. The views were beautiful, the cabin had everything we needed to have fun. The kids enjoyed all the amenities the house had to offer, and such a good starting point to go and explore around to Bayfield and Duluth. Sarah was very communicative when i had questions and answered them quickly. We would come back again next year

Great family getaway

We had a fabulous stay at this location. The home is very family friendly with beach, sauna, hot-tub, and games including ping-pong. Due to rainy weather we did not use kayaks but appreciated their availability. Great proximity to neighboring communities. Highly recommend!

My husband & I had a wonderful stay. Our week just flew by. The house is very clean & very comfortable. The property is private, peaceful & very relaxing. We had almost daily visits from a mother deer & her twins. We also got buzzed many times by the hummingbirds. Catherine lake is absolutely beautiful! We went canoeing, kayaking, wadding/swimming & fishing on the lake. We also enjoyed the garage area with the ping pong table & darts. Sarah was wonderful & very quick to respond. She provided us with lots of ideas of things to do & places to visit. Thank you Sarah! We hope to return next year!

The property and location were amazing. We will definitely return.

Our host was so great. There was a minor issue with the property prior to check in. Sarah kept me apprised of what was happening. The issue was resolved with no impact on our stay. Th property was clean and well equipped. We had a wonderful week and will definitely return.

UTV Trip With Friends

Harvest Moon was the PERFECT home base for a long weekend away. Having many nice UTV trails and restaurants so close was wonderful! The cabin was clean, cozy, spacious and very well stocked with anything you could possibly need. We absolutely loved having the hot tub to soak in after a long day riding and kayaking. Our host went out of her way to make our stay perfect! Great communication and recommendations! We will be back!

I am at a loss as to how this property has the excellent rating it has. Upon arrival, there was a pile of dirty towels on the laundry room floor, two of the three sliding doors wonā€™t open (one being the only outside door to the lower pato), there were two pods of laundry detergent for our use, one roll of TP (one in each bathroom), and the hot tub was disgustingly filthy. Owners said theyā€™d have maintenance come the next day, but it was the evening of our forth day (the last for most of our party) before they came. Not to mention the wad of hair in the shower. Boards on the deck & stairs to lake are rotted through & the kids got splinters from the handrail. The owner said the guests just before us were not respectful, but that does not negate their responsibility for cleanliness upon our arrival. Itā€™s only an amminity if you can use the item. I will be asking for a refund.

Great property!

A group of friends and I got together for a girls trip and booked this property. The cabin was perfect for what we needed! There are about 45 steps to the lake but there is a railing and we brought a cooler and tied our floaties up so we had everything we needed. Loved the sand area. The water is clear. Great for floating. The kitchen is one of the most well stocked we have ever seen and we stay in rental properties yearly. Great communication with the hosts. We had a great time!

Amazing stay

We had the best week in this cabin! The pictures do not do it justice. We spent a lot of time at the lake fishing and playing in the water. Plenty of comfortable beds and room to spread out. Had great communication with Sarah and Brian the entire time. Couldnā€™t have asked for a better place to relax and recharge from our normal busy lifestyle. We would definitely like to come back in the future.

Great time at the lake!

The cabin was just what we needed for our Northwoods vacation. Great location for day trips to Duluth, Hayward and Bayfield! My boys loved the kayaks and swimming in the lake. My wife and I loved the solitude. Read a couple books in front the fire on the cool mornings. Highly recommend this amazing cabin!!!

Peaceful get away

We stayed here for a week and had a great time. The owners are fantastic with communication and the cabin is as advertised and has everything you need for your stay. The lake is peaceful and we really enjoyed the fishing, kayaks and the swim mat was a huge hit. Very secluded but we were welcomed daily by deer and wild turkeys! Wonderful deck to just sit outside and enjoy the day. I would highly recommend this cabin!
