General description of the campsite: The description of this campsite
applies to all stays booked until 15/11/2024. For all stays in 2025, we
will send you an update of the services offered by the campsite for the
new season in January. The ultimate luxury of beautiful, golden sand
just 200m from your mobile home! Amidst untouched nature, between the
dunes and the National Nature Reserve of the Casse de la Belle
Henriette, this 4-star campsite offers direct and exclusive access,
without crossing a road, to the beach of Les Rouillères, from which it
takes its name. For beach lovers: it doesn't get any better than this!
Facing south, overlooking the Île de Ré, this magnificent beach
stretches over almost 7 km and offers tranquility and escape. The
surroundings are fully preserved, and the landscape consists of wild
dunes. You are staying on the edge of La Tranche-sur-Mer, a charming
seaside resort nicknamed "Little California," labeled with the "Blue
Flag" and "Family Plus," making it an ideal starting point to discover
the Vendée wonders of the Côte de Lumière. The Les Rouillères campsite,
an epitome of family-friendliness, boasts a beautiful aquatic area with
a large indoor pool with a removable roof, and offers the expected
variety of a 4-star campsite in terms of entertainment and activities.
To top it all off, you'll be staying in brand-new, comfortable
accommodations, equipped with a plancha to bring out the grill master

Description of the water area: The large indoor pool of 250 m²,
equipped with a removable roof, offers the possibility to be covered or
uncovered depending on the season and adapts to the whims of the
weather. Various activities such as aqua aerobics or aqua biking are
offered in this area to stay in shape even on vacation! As soon as the
temperatures become summery, the roof opens to fully enjoy the
beautiful Vendée sunshine. Also, enjoy the slides of the latest
generation with light effects! The little ones are not forgotten with a
large outdoor paddling pool (13m x 13m) completing the whole: splashing
and fun ahead! After effort comes relaxation, make yourself comfortable
on the deckchairs that extend their armrests to you, for a
well-deserved break in the shade of parasols. Water zone opening dates
and times: (subject to favorable weather conditions) Daily from 10 a.m.
to 7 p.m. (8 p.m. in July/August) Indoor pool with removable roof: open
and heated throughout the season Outdoor slides: open and heated
throughout the season Outdoor paddling pool: naturally heated by the
sun, open in summer temperatures Note: The wearing of swim trunks,
Bermuda shorts, neoprene suits, or similar is strictly prohibited in
the pools. Swimsuit or swim shorts required. Swimming under supervision
in July/August. All of this, of course, without forgetting the great
advantage of this campsite, the proximity of a beautiful fine sand
beach just 200m away, easily accessible on foot via a footpath.
Whatever you're looking for, enjoy the pleasure of swimming, building
sandcastles, and for the sporty types, water sports (land sailing,
stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and windsurfing) and adventures
(inflatable boat…). A list of partners is available upon request at the
reception. Here there's no crowding, plenty of space to lay your towel,
you enjoy the space, you breathe deeply… true luxury! The indicated
times are non-contractual and may change. Access to the water areas may
be restricted depending on weather and health conditions, as well as
any maintenance work during your stay. Animations: Here we slow down
the pace and take the time to enjoy life by prioritizing relaxation and
tranquility. The low season is particularly quiet and peaceful... A
real mindset! The opportunity to reconnect with nature and outdoor
activities. Looking for discoveries or attractions of all kinds? You
will find what you are looking for in the vicinity of the campsite. Do
not hesitate to ask the reception team, who can guide you to the
animations and activities near the campsite. In July/August, the
entertainment team picks up the pace with a rich and varied program.
Group classes in aqua aerobics, aqua biking, fitness, muscle
strengthening, zumba, and stretching will delight the most motivated!
For unforgettable moments of laughter with the family, participate in
the Olympics and various tournaments like petanque or football. Whether
relaxing or dynamic, numerous animations, offered by a professional and
energetic team, will enrich your stay! In the evening, it becomes
convivial: theme evenings, karaoke, aperitif games, various shows…
Also, visit pop-rock concerts… Sing along with live bands carefully
selected! To end the day in style, we dance, dance lovers, to the
rhythm of catchy music and summer hits! Challenge your neighbors on the
multi-sports ground for football, basketball, or handball games (ball
rental), or try the official sport of the campsite: petanque, during
the tournaments organized by the animation teams (equipment rental).
The little ones also have their own play area: an outdoor playground
offers an enclosed, safe area with colorful slides, an inflatable
castle, and spring games (under parental supervision). Cycling is one
of the "royal activities" around La Tranche-sur-Mer. Explore the area!
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced cyclist, rent a bike and
enjoy the many bike paths that start from the campsite and the
beautiful landscapes of the region. You might even choose the
"Vélodyssée," which passes near the campsite, the largest bike route in
the region! Kids club (6 to 12 years): only in July/August from Monday
to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Various activities such as treasure hunts, orienteering, painting, and
salt dough workshops… The indicated times are non-contractual and may
change. The animation program may be adjusted according to weather
conditions, visitor numbers, and the official health conditions in
force during your stay. On-site services available: All 4-star
services, which are open 5 days a week in the low season and 7 days a
week during the summer holidays, are offered to enrich your stay. Even
on holiday, stay connected! WiFi is available free of charge throughout
the campsite. Fancy a quick snack? A snack bar with pizzas, sandwiches,
fries, and paninis will surely satisfy your little cravings, on-site or
to take away. For your last-minute shopping, visit the mini-market with
fresh products, regional specialties, bread and pastries, newspapers,
wine, beach items, and of course, a small holiday souvenir to take
home. For even more comfort: a self-service laundry (extra charge) is
available, with an iron and ironing board (on request at the
reception). You can rent bikes to explore this beautiful corner of
Vendée! More than 30 km of bike paths crisscross the area, enough to
enjoy it! Pack a picnic in your backpack and don't hesitate to explore
the Atlantic coast to enjoy the many beautiful viewpoints… Not to be
forgotten: all the amenities and shops of La Tranche-sur-Mer are just 5
km from the campsite and easily accessible on foot or by bike, to meet
all your needs and desires. In July/August, ultimate comfort… Leave
your car at the campsite! The municipality provides a free shuttle for
campers. The stop is located in front of the campsite entrance and runs
regularly throughout the day from 9 a.m. to midnight, taking you in a
few minutes to the center of the seaside resort with its numerous bars

number of visitors and the official health conditions in force during
your stay. Pet policy: Additional fee for pets: 7 €/day/pet (maximum 1
pet per accommodation. Cats and other pets not allowed) Small pets
