A château built in 1904 by Pierre Mathieu Bodet, Minister of Finance under the Third Republic. Located just outside Angoulême, in Moulède in Charente (Linars), it stands out for its seaside-style architecture and English-inspired design. Just a 10-minute drive from downtown Angoulême and 30 minutes from Cognac, its location is unmissable. With its tastefully decorated, comfortable interior steeped in history, enjoy a timeless escape during your stay.
On the first floor, you’ll have access to the breakfast room, the living room, the dining room, and the bow window during the off-season.
All four guest rooms are located on the first floor of the building.
"Room 7" features a queen-size bed (160x200) with high-quality bedding and a closet for hanging and/or storing your belongings. The cube-shaped private bathroom is equipped with a freestanding sink, a toilet, and a shower.
You have access to all the rooms on the first floor (namely: the breakfast room, the living room, the dining room, and the bay window) as well as your bedroom upstairs.
We live in a private section of the estate, so we are usually on-site and available if needed.
Moulède is a peaceful village just outside Angoulême, nestled between the city and the countryside.
We’ll be delighted to welcome you between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM; for any arrivals outside this time frame, a fee of 10 euros per hour will apply (subject to acceptance of your request).
