Location! Location! Location!

This fully-furnished, immaculate home is perfect for two to three families to enjoy with a finished basement (for the kids!) and a warm, inviting fireplace and infrared sauna to warm yourselves after a full day of skiing, hiking, golfing or enjoying any one of the many Ellicottville activities. Our place is ideally suited for multi-generation or multi-family reunions or get togethers. While we invite you to enjoy your stay at our place, we are not attempting to attract large, hard core party groups (no offense!!). This house sits up on the hill across from the Holimont Ski Resort (a private resort on weekends, but open to public during the week) and you can actually watch the skiers glide down the slopes from the balcony, deck or porch of this 6 bedroom chalet.

Holimont is located in Ellicottville, a charming resort town just 51 miles south of Buffalo, New York. In addition to Holimont, the Holiday Valley Ski Resort is only minutes away, about two miles from the premises. Enjoy the local restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner and shopping in downtown Ellicottville, only a mile away, within walking distance, or head over to the Seneca Casino about 7 miles away for dinner, casino fun and live entertainment.

In the summertime, relax and enjoy yourself with golfing at Holiday Valley or challenge yourself at the the Sky High adventure zip-line course. Ride the mountain coaster, go hiking, mountain biking, or enjoy one of three swimming pools at Tamarack, the new condominium at Holiday Valley. If being outdoors is what you love, Letchworth State Park or Allegany State Park are just a short distance from Ellicottville. The surrounding hills are breathtaking and in the fall, the colorful foliage is so incredibly brilliant that it must be seen to be believed! A trip to Niagara Falls is only about 1 hour away... an easy day trip! You will truly feel revived after vacationing here!

Personal checks, cashier's checks, and Venmo are accepted. Rental rates apply to a maximum number of 18. There is a $10/person per day surcharge for anyone over that maximum. The minimum age requirement for renting this property is 25. Photocopy of a valid driver's license is required along with a signed Rental Agreement.

Everything about this location is welcoming. They have absolutely anything you would ever want or need to have a great time. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever rented. We ended up bringing a porta crib but they had plenty of Porta groups there as well as high chairs. It was in a great location and the beds were very comfortable. We loved it.

Best house location for Holimont Ski Resort

Great location just outside town with 2 minute drive to Holimont and same to town! Great for kids and family! We had ski team families stay for a weekend and it was convenient to both Holimont and Holiday Valley resorts.

Lots of sleeping and eating space!

This was a great place to stay with a large group of people. 5 rooms with beds for couples and 2 huge kids rooms made it perfect for large groups. Everything was clean, great location, great kitchen and great deck space!

Beautiful views in Ellicottvile

Stayed here for fall fest weekend, was great location with beautiful views. No problems with checking in and leaving, everything was near and clean! Easy checkout process. House had everything we needed!

Great location for a big group!

Lovely space! Went for a ski weekend with a large party. All the kids got to stay together in the bunk bed room, along with 5 couples. Hot water for showers without any issues, well stocked kitchen for cooking. Amazing proximity to Holimont/Holliday valley. Will absolutely stay again. Only bummer is no hottub, which, if it was there, we’d never book anywhere else ever!

family getaway

The house was in good condition with plenty of options for beds. The owner was attentive and had great communication. Only minutes to ski slopes and downtown Ellicottville. Would definitely rent again.

Large, clean property

Very clean property close to skiing. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep. Everything we needed was in the house. The only thing missing was wi-fi.

Great times

Spent a wonderful New Years Eve with some good friends in this rental. Everything was great, especially the kitchen and the big bedroom for all the kids! The fact that it was decorated for Christmas was a very nice touch. Would recommend this property anytime.

Lots of space and well kept

A lot bigger than I though and very nice. Stocked with lots of kitchen items which were great for us to cook in for our meals! Also Michele was very easy to reach and helpful!

2023 Ski Trip

5 families, 10 adults, 11 kids (ages 5-11), 1 house!! We had an amazing ski trip with friends and kids and cannot thank Michele enough for her hospitality. She was very responsive to our needs.

Chalet Nye is awesome. We had 6 couple's and we're all quite comfortable. House is beautiful and full of amenities. Perfect location. One mile from downtown Ellicottville and holiday valley ski resort. Thanks to Michelle and her family for letting us share their home for the weekend. Would highly recommend this property

Comfy Birthday Weekend

We spent the weekend for a 30th birthday celebration and this house was more than enough to accommodate several adult couples. The house was stocked with every appliance you could ever need and with detailed instructions for everything there was no questions for how things worked and ran. House was very clean and comfortable for everyone and walking distance to the village where we spent most our time. Would definitely stay here again if available!

Perfect Home for Family Ski Weekend-Lots of space.

The Nye Chalet was the nicest place we have ever staying in Ellicottville. The home was warm and cozy and included all the extras needed to make for a perfect weekend. The sleeping accommodations were excellent and everyone had plenty of space. We had several families but never felt like we were on top of each other. Michele was delightful to work with and we can't wait to come back. Highly recommend for groups.

Fully Stocked House Close to Town

Great property with great views. Fully stocked with anything you could need. Tons of towels, spices, pots, plates even some free weights! The TV with vhs player and disney videos was a HUGE hit with the 4-6 crowd and explaining why you need to "be kind and rewind" was priceless. Even though the weather didn't cooperate, it was a great stay in a cute town.

Memorial Weekend

This home is everything the listing states and more! The kitchen was equipped with all the things we needed and it had an extras, like spices and other pantry needs. The owners are outstanding! We forgot a couple of personal items and Michele was right on it. I would definitely go back

10 year ski trip anniversary success

We have been skiing in Ellicottville for 10 years with the same great group of people. We have stayed in 4 different homes, all of them very nice, over the years in an attempt to best accommodate our group of friends and family. We can easily say that this home is by far the favorite. The pictures don't do it justice. The home is even more spacious than it looks with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Everything is well kept and maintained. Michele is fantastic to work with and we absolutely plan to come back!

Chalet Nye Rocks!

Chalet Nye was the perfect property to host 5 families including 14 adults and 6 kids. Location was super convenient to HoliMont Ski Club, easy walk into town and a short drive to Holiday Valley slopes not to mention lovely views. Accomodations were better than most rentals with ample bedroom options, nice bathrooms with large tile showers, two 10+ seating dining / eating options (kitchen and dining room), a kitchen packed with amenities (from meal prep to baking), open floor plan with numerous TVs (watched the Superbowl), ample parking, lovely front porch and just downright comfortable. Even better, the host is easy to reach and a pleasure to deal with. Chalet Nye met all our expectations. Kudos +

Wonderful Stay

We had 20 family members join together for our annual ski weekend. The accommodations were wonderful! The chalet is beautiful! From the fireplace to the modern kitchen to beds for everyone! Plenty of firewood was available. Plenty of hot water for showers in the morning. The bedrooms were cozy with extra blankets and pillows, if needed. Some came to ski, while others came to enjoy a good book by the fire. Easy to get to the slopes at Holiday Valley. A 3 minute drive by car. The town of Ellicottville is great, with quaint shops and a wonderful brewery. We're planning on making this our "go to" place for many years to come!

After being born and raised in Allegany, New York, and having our children born and raised there until teenagers, we bought our house so that we could have a place to come 'home' to after our company moved us to Texas. Both sides of our family are still in the area and now, with the addition of six grandchildren over the years, we still create new holiday memories in Ellicottville each year! It's such a special place. "Home" away from home!

We loved the fact that it has so many bedrooms and can keep families together rather than having to stay in separate rooms in a hotel. It's so much more comfortable and enjoyable and with our new kitchen addition, there is plenty of room to 'gather' together while cooking, eating, or just enjoying each others' company.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We love the view of the hills from our home. Whether you are sitting out on the deck or on either of the porches in the front, the scenery is upper balcony is our 'slice of Heaven' and stargazing at night doesn't get any better!!!! With just being one mile from town, it is easy to stroll downtown for coffee in the morning, shop or dine in town, or simply sit on the park benches that line the main street and people watch. Ellicottville is a very charming place! It was also #3 in USA Today's listing of "Small Towns with Adventure"
