The property is fabulous! Well maintained on the outside and inside. I stayed in the Gaspereau suite. This unit has a jacuzzi but unfortunately thereā€™s a mildew problem at the moment. Spoke with the owner and they are looking into having this issue resolved. The smell was a little overpowering but the unit had an air purifier and 2 ceilings fans to help with the circulation. With this being said, this will not discourage me from booking with them next year. Was very happy with location to everywhere downtown Wolfville and it was a 2 min walk to Acadia University. Homecoming was a great time. And Axeman won!

Loved it!

Such an amazing place. Quiet and peaceful. Clean and true to pics. Close walk to anything you want to do or see in Wolfville. The bed was as comfortable as can be. The jacuzzi made the relaxing stay that much more relaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much. Hope to be back.

Don't let the pictures fool you was not that clean as showen in pictures. There was no washer and dryer as stated in their profile. There was spider webs ,a fan that was about to fall off their beam and the door would not shut all the way ,we had to shove a paper towel in it to keep the bugs out.

Quiet Getaway Post Xmas

Nice, quiet inn with pretty decent amenities. The small appliances provided make the visit so much easier if youā€™re wanting a lazy stay-cation. The tub was nice for the romantic getaway we were hoping for. Iā€™m sure weā€™ll be visiting again.

Quick trip

Quick overnight stay for birthday celebrations. Easy check in and check out. Was unable to order breakfast from the website, tried from several devices. Walking distance to all amenities in downtown wolfville.

We recently stayed at the Gingerbread House (Gaspereau suite) and found it to be a charming spot with potential, but there were a few issues that made our stay less than ideal. Most notably, there was a strong mildew smell in the room from the moment we walked in. It lingered throughout our stay and made the space feel less fresh and clean than weā€™d hoped. We also experienced: ā€¢ The Jacuzzi tub running out of hot water before it was full ā€¢ A loose towel rack that fell off the shower door ā€¢ Lawn mowing right next to us during breakfast ā€¢ Fresh paint left on the walkway outside our door The setting itself is lovely and the communication was smooth, but we did leave feeling that a bit more attention to maintenance and guest comfort would go a long way.

The Inn Keeper Mike is extremely rude and disrespectful, and should not be working in hospitality. We wanted to check in early as we had a wedding to attend. If it was busy and this was not possible I would totally understand. We were told the night before to check back at 1pm. We were busy then preparing for a wedding, so I emailed slightly earlier at 1145am. We didn't hear back so we went to the Inn to check in person. We had to talk through the Ring doorbell camera, and we greeted extremely rudely. We decided to move on and try to enjoy our stay, and not hold it against the place. We asked for 2 extra towels for my fathers room who had stayed the night before, so we could shower before the wedding as we wouldn't have time if we couldn't check in early. We were told no, and that it would be $20 per towel if we that. After the wedding, we got back to our room and were greeted by a cockroach under the covers of our bed. I took photos, and sent them to the inn keeper. He replied that he could not open it, and falsely told us it was a beetle. Although I am certain it was a cockroach, regardless of what it was, it was in our bed. There are cameras everywhere, and it constantly feels like you are being watched as there are numerous strict rules that all have extra charges attached to them. No apology, or attempt to make up for it, just rude and dismissive replies from Mike. I have never left a negative review anywhere, but please save your money and stay elsewhere.

Great stay in the Gaspereau room

We really enjoyed our stay at the gingerbread house. We stayed in the Gaspereau room and it was gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and inviting. The breakfast with locally sourced ingredients was amazing. We would definitely stay here again.
