House with a Norwegian Sauna in Transylvania: Casa Ciubărului Bran

On the heights of Bran, at an altitude of more than 800 metres, where the Carpathians still whisper ancient legends, stands a chalet suspended between reality and myth. Here, Transylvania cannot be visited – it can be felt. Facing the majestic silhouettes of the Bucegi and the Piatra Craiului, the landscape seems to preserve the memory of centuries, while Bran Castle watches over it like a stone sentinel, between history and imagination.
This 350 m² villa accommodates up to 12 adults, with the possibility of additional beds, in an atmosphere where contemporary comfort meets the timeless aura of the mountains. Six rooms make up this intimate estate, divided like so many chapters in a secret tale. Some have their own bathrooms, while the suite in the attic stands out as a sanctuary apart: a balcony opening onto the peaks, generous volumes and a private jacuzzi — a discreet luxury, reserved for those who know how to escape time.
The common areas extend this immersion: a large dining room conducive to feasts and evenings, two functional kitchens for shared moments, a living room warmed by the flame of a fireplace, and a discreet private parking for five vehicles — as if even modernity had chosen to fade away here.
Outside, the ritual takes on another dimension. A semi-open Norwegian bath-type jacuzzi, which can accommodate 8 to 10 people, diffuses slightly salty water and chromotherapy light effects. In the steam that rises at dusk, between the breath of the wind and the moving shadows of the mountains, the experience becomes almost ceremonial — between deep relaxation and a sense of eternity.
Here, nothing is simply hosted. Everything is lived, everything is told.
