This house has recently been changed from a nightly/weekly rental to a monthly rental. Stays of 30 days include all utilities and free WiFi. Stays longer than 30 days do not include utilities.

Centrally Located in Highly Desirable, Quaint Huron next to Sandusky, this Home has over 2200 Square Feet of Living Space including a Finished Basement. There is a 2 Car detached Garage.

It is still be offered as a fully furnished, turn key rental home equipped with all furniture, kitchen ware linens ect.

Potentially available as an traditional empty rental.

Boating, Fishing, Beaches, Wineries, Island Hopping, Cedar Point, Kalahari, Golfing, Tennis ect are all nearby

Great Access to the Beaches. Lake Front Park Beach and the Boat Basin are a few blocks away. Nickle Plate Beach is just 1 mile away.


This Peaceful House Sits on a Corner Lot Just Across the Street from Oklahoma Park. A few Blocks Away is Fabens Park.

4 bedrooms, 2 Upstairs and 2 on the Main level. 2 Full Bathrooms; one Upstairs one on the Main Level. The Master bedroom is Very Large and currently has 2 Queen sized beds. There are a total of 4 Queen Beds, 1 Double Bed and 1 crib.

Comfortable right across from the park

We were just saying how much we felt at home on this stay. The kids enjoyed the park and a few of us walked and ran in the area. We stayed here to go to Cedar Point

Perfect stay for Volleyball OVR tournament

This was such a a great place to stay. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The house was very cozy and my parents and players had a nice relaxing time before a long day of volleyball

Full house for a wedding near Sandusky

Quaint home in non-busy neighborhood is near downtown, Boat Basin. Convenient to Sandusky. It was nice to have the extended family be able to stay together in the same home

Awesome host, great house, excellent location!

My family and I (10 of us total) stayed here for a weekend getaway to Cedar Point. The house was well maintained and equipped for families, my littles really appreciated the toys. Elizabeth/owner was prompt in responding and we appreciate her sharing her home with us. We would definitely return again!

Fun Family Trip

House was quaint and comfy. Loved the sunroom. Well stocked with essentials and plenty of dishes. Our favorite thing was island hopping! Kelly’s Island was beautiful. Owner did a great job of communicating everything we would need to know for our stay.

Great family-friendly vacation house

We had 10 adults and 3 children (3, 4 and 6 years), and there was lots of space for us to spread out. The house and location are very family-friendly, including a high chair, stroller and plenty of toys for the kids. Many attractions and beaches are just minutes away. Everyone had a great time, and we're already discussing coming back to the area next summer!

Cute and Clean

Enjoyed our stay overall - home was large with a lot of sleeping options. It was clean, had tons of information about the area and, while we didn’t need them, lots of toys for kids which was great! It was a quick drive from downtown Sandusky, cedar Point, and near some cute location breakfast locations. The host was really communicative and friendly.

Family Vacay

We enjoyed our stay. Had everything that a family would need to feel at home. Only thing that we wish, was that there was not missing pickets in the fence. We have little ones that could slip through the pickets.

This was our second stay. It was great plenty of towels, linen beds are comfortable plenty of pillows and covers great location, except for the train. Everything worked plenty of hot water for showers.

Perfect for our NYE

Loved the placed. It was just what we needed for a small family getaway on NYE. Loved the finished basement with a large table for games. Very convenient that we had a crib in our room for our daughter too. Everything was very clean! Thank you Elizabeth!

Family Getaway

We had a lovely family weekend here. Our grandson loved exploring the “new to him” toys and watching the train. When it wasn’t too hot the patio was a great place to read a book. The basement was the perfect place for young adults to play games without disrupting those who went to bed early. Comfy beds, plenty of kitchen supplies, lots of places to explore near and far. This was a great place to land.

Best VRBO Ever!!

We had our family reunion here and enjoyed a week in Sandusky. This house was perfect! Plenty of room for our big family! It was so clean and organized. It was also the best stocked and supplied rental we have ever stayed at! There was nothing lacking. Fully equipped kitchen, crib and extra air mattresses, plenty of bedding and even a sun room full of toys. We highly recommended this VRBO and will definitely be returning!!tng!

Very nice home

We were surprised by how big the house was inside. My grandson & granddaughters loved the playroom & games. The house was very clean & organized. Our hostess called me the day we left because an important item had been left at the house & made it easy for us to pick it up. We would definitely stay again.

We did experience a heat wave during your stay, and heat does rise to the second story that I is why I have a very power whole house ac unit and 3 register boosters upstairs to help keep the top level cool. I am glad you figured out how to stay cool and comfortable

Clean inside, fully equipped, comfortable. Air had to be kept pretty cold downstairs to make the upstairs tolerable. Deck unusable because of overgrown vines, bugs and vines growing up through the floorboards. Outside maintenance (lawn, garden beds, fence, back entrance, front entrance, gutters , trash can area need care and more detailed cleanup)Very quiet neighborhood and nice park across the street. Centrally located to area and freeways.

While this guest did take care of the house during the stay and this was much appreciated, the frequent texts did wear thin especially when offers to bend over backwards to ensure her comfort were declined. Complaints just to complain.Such as complaining the 2nd floor was warmer than main level which is true as hot air rises. However even after dropping off an extra portable air conditioner unit only to receive a text that it was unneeded and unwanted was exasperating. The review about the yard and deck were just untrue as Every single week the lawn was mowed and trimmed and the Wisteria around the deck was trimmed back several times during her stay.The unusable was just false. There was just no way to fully satisfy this guest and her departure was a relief.

Just like home.

This place is located close to everything. We had fun playing in the park, walking to the beach and driving to Cedar Point. The house was fully supplied, and had room for everyone to sleep. There was a large table and plenty of chairs for us all to eat together and play games on. Our host did her best to make sure that we all had a wonderful time. I have rented many places and she is the very best and most accommodating.

Surprise Birthday Party!

We absolutely loved this house! Very spacious and clean! Having the two bathrooms was a huge help with having 14 people at the party! My host was always quick to respond and was extremely accommodating to us and allowed us to enter early and have a late check out! Which was very appreciated! The space had any dishes we would need while on our stay and plenty of extra toiletries. Definitely would recommend and would stay again!

Family Time

We had a great time. The rental house was just right. It was not to fancy ,but very accommodating . The park across the street was a lifesaver. The kids could hang out there in between family events. It was a very nice location . Having it closer to the beach area would of been nicer, but it worked really fine. The instructions at the house were very laid out and easy to follow. I would recommend this house to anyone . Elizabeth was very easy to get ahold of as well as her cleaning crew.

I appreciate Michaels positive words about the actual house itself. The 3 stars doesn't seem to match his words about the house rather than match whether this was a good fit for him and his group. Michael was definitely out of his element on this first attempt at renting someones private home and struggled with the logistic of that. From not reading the info email, not vacating the house on time, nor following the check out instructions causing a second housekeeper to have to be brought in last minute to get the house ready in time for the next guest. If a person wants "fancy" waterfront property with on site concierge, that is a fine thing to want and they should rent just that . A 3 star rating because they chose a homey well maintained house where they were expected to take the initiate to read and follow the house rules was an inappropriate rating based on this review. fortunately there are a great many reviews to read over the years to give the renter an accurate picture of what to expect during their stay

Great House

We rented the house as a family to go and enjoy Cedar Point which is an easy drive of about 15 minutes away. We had a family of 7 adults, 2 teens, 5 children 8 and under and we had more than enough room for us all. The house is spotless. Although we mainly were there just to sleep, it sure looked like it had a fully stocked kitchen. I didn't hear of a complaint from anyone, in fact quite the opposite. They all were very happy with the house. I wouldn't hesitate renting it again and would definitely recommend to anyone.

All was ok.

Overall the house was as advertised. My main disappointment was the entrance door area- there were lots of bugs and spiders there. It needed to be sprayed with the hose and cleaned up. There were 10 of us in the group and the house had enough beds, linens, towels, etc. to accommodate all of us. Beds were comfortable. House is on the older side but was clean and ready for us when we arrived.

Hi Carol, If these is one thing we have on Lake Erie it is insects !!. Its a daily fight to keep on top of their handywork. And quite a challenge when turning over a house that size in just a few hours. But I am glad that you enjoyed all the work and cleaning once you entered that back door :) Come again any time

Cedar Point

Our overall state was good. It was a great location. We were able to go to the grocery store. We were able to go to Cedar Point and a few of the other lakes within less than 15 minutes. The rooms were nice The house was spacious. The basement area was nice the little playroom out on the front porch that was a nice area for my granddaughter who is four she really liked it. Elizabeth had enough tiles cleaning supplies kitchen utensils, everything the house was really really neat and clean. The only thing that I would suggest would be the deck needs to be sprayed for spiders. There were a lot of spiders in that area so we were unable to really enjoy it and there was a lot of foliage growing up around the deck which drew a lot of bees and spiders, but other than that everything is was great and we really enjoyed it Elizabeth, thank you for your hospitality.

I used to rent a house at Lake Erie once or twice a year. It is such a fun, relaxing getaway where I had so many things to do everyday rain or shine. I would spend hours and hours trying to find a place to stay. Everything goes so quickly !
When I saw that this AMAZING house was on the market, I knew 'THIS IS MY CHANCE'. I poured my heart and soul into remodeling and decorating this house. I tried to anticipate my guests every need. First I Feel In Love with Charming Huron Ohio. A Sleepy Little Town on the Lake. I Love the Relaxed Pace of the Locals, the Church Bells I Hear Every Hour When I am in The Yard. It's Idyllic. Then I Feel In Love With This Craftsman Style House. Open and Sunny with Windows Everywhere.... It's Solid Plaster Walls, Wood Floors...The Cute Built ins and Glass Door Knobs... It Was Irresistible.
