We had an excellent stay at the beautiful farmhouse. The host made sure that the farmhouse was decorated for the holidays and that we had everything we needed including wood for the fireplace. One morning when it snowed and was icy, they came over and salted to make sure that we didn't have problems getting to the cars. The beds were very comfortable and the accomodations were spacious. I would hightly recommend at stay at this lovely updated farmhouse!

We have stayed at this property before, and rented again. We love the remote location, which is still close to shopping, restaurants etc. We are always sad to leave. Owners/managers are very accommodating and helpful.

Great space for a family holiday

Expansive accommodation for a family holiday getaway. Unique decor and private feel of the property for privacy and escape the everyday hustle and bustle. Some quirks and issues of perhaps the property is not used frequently and needing a little TLC however easily overcome if you have the desire to look past and enjoy time with family.

Beautiful Farm w/ big spacious farmhouse

The farm is beautiful and mostly private! Loved the farmhouse dƩcor & huge master bedroom with a 2nd floor deck. It's so comfortable and would make a great place for a big family gathering. The huge jetted tub is wonderful too. The 2 fireplaces are so wonderful and cozy every evening. There's a huge TV and that's great for catching a movie.

Great return stay

We loved staying at the "cow house" again this year! We had a couple hiccups with the thermostat/heating the first day but Lesa + Fred were persistent in getting the problem fixed. Love the fireplaces and giant living spaces!

This house was plenty big, well equipped and furnished. Susan was amazing and responded to a relatively minor problems immediately. She remedied right away, and was even kind enough to leave a small gift for our pooch. The only down point is that it is truly off the beaten path. If you know that going in, it is not a problem.

Peaceful Country Living

The farmhouse and beautiful property was the perfect spot for us as we gathered with family. The eclectic furnishings inside the farmhouse was such a surprise and made the stay even more interesting. So much room within the house and lots of room to play outdoors. The campfire pit was enjoyed by all with plenty of seating available. The disc golf added much enjoyment around the property. It was a delight to stay in this rural farmhouse close to our family activities in the neighboring towns. I can see why you advertise as a hunting and snow playground, but this would be a great relaxing Girls Weekend Getaway destination too. Loved this place!

Awesome family getaway in the country.

We stayed for a week to celebrate the holidays with our children and grandchildren. The kids loved frisbee golf set up on the property. The big dining room table was the perfect Place for family dinners and game night. The beds were super comfortable. Our stay was amazing.

Thanksgiving tradition

We were able to find the property easily. Google Maps led us right to the house. The house was clean and well organized. If you have a big group or multiple families with children, this is an IDEAL space. We were a group of seven with two dogs (4 adults, 3 children). The master bedroom is a really relaxing space. It was so peaceful sitting in front of the fireplace and reading. There are THREE big eating surfaces. Two dining tables and a large bar. We used one of the tables as a craft and game table and the other two for meals. I don't have anything negative to say. I do have one wish though! We love to hike and that is one of the reasons we chose this property. There is a lot of space to explore, but our group really wished we had a map of the property. We didn't know where the property lines were, or if there was somewhere we shouldn't be. A general map would have been nice. Our stay was great and I highly recommend this place if you like a little more seclusion on your trips.

Farmhouse Getaway

I was pleasantly surprised at how unique and comfortable the interior was. This home is so charming and welcoming. Our host went out of her way to accommodate us and was so friendly and curtious. The farm and surrounding acreage is so beautiful. We did get some snow and it was very nice to see they had plowed allowing us easy access to the back property. Clean and spacious and comfortable and quiet

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, the kitchen was well appointed, the checkin process was simple, and the host was a great communicator! There was plenty of space in each room and the beds were super comfortable. The yard was beautiful and we saw deer in the fields and lots of birds. There was very little traffic and the area is quiet.

Howell Vacation

The bad: Starting from driving to the property, the main bridge to get to this house was out so we had to find another way around that took 15 minutes. We arrived there and I had to contact the property manager since the keys were never sent, I mentioned the bridge and I was told that has been out for years. Walking into the home, there where spider webs, spiderā€™s , black flying beetles and mosquitos everywhere. Someone had left all the windows open about 1ā€ throughout the entire house. My wife and I spent hours cleaning. The property was listed as 300 acres and to enjoy the trailā€™s. We went looking for trails but most of the property was farm land and there is a note to stay off the crops. The good: the house is beautifully redone. There is tons of space for the family to enjoy. The beds were super comfortable!! I think the jetted bathtub was great! It was super helpful that there was a pen for the dogs to go in outside.
