Our stay exceeded our expectations! This property is even more beautiful in person. The house is absolutely adorable and the animals are so sweet and add that extra bit of fun. I love that the owners left us a s’mores kit and treats for the animals! The location is so close to Rock City! The property is peaceful, the house is clean, beds comfy, its decorated beautifully and it's well equipped with everything you may need for your stay! We really enjoyed coming home after a day out and sitting by the fire pit under the string lights. We got the privilege of meeting the owners and they were so welcoming and even offered for our son to help feed the goats, which was such a highlight for him! We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area!!

This cute little cabin exceeded my expectations! It was so comfortable and clean, loved the welcoming committee, sweetest little goats and horses, and the view was beautiful. My husband and I really enjoyed this quick getaway, so relaxing!

This will always be my favorite vacation rental. I have such wonderful memories of this place. It is peaceful, comfortable and impeccably designed. If it's not available anymore I will be sad, but I will always have the memories. I really appreciate the hosts allowing me and others to stay at their beautiful cottage for all these years--it has been exceptional.

This is our second time at this property and we will keep coming back! The cottage is well kept, comfortable beds, beautiful surroundings with the best shaded porch ever and of course, the animals! It’s always nice and quiet, save for the acorns hitting the roof or the ground, but that keeps you on your toes. We also liked the well stocked coffee with regular and decaf as well as the bathroom amenities.

We just can't say enough about this property. The kitchen, bath, laundry & bedrooms had everything you need for however long you are staying, the house, deck and all around are virtually spotless! This is your home away from home and beautifully decorated in farmhouse theme. The goats, oh Daisy and Sadie, they are just so friendly and precious, we will miss them, Sport and Willow the horses and of course Piper, the "farmhouse greeter". This is our 2nd time here and we plan to make it our regular vacation spot. You cant beat a bonfire on the farm with the song of crickets and the sound of breeze in the trees. One night we heard the faint sound of bagpipes coming from somewhere off in the distance. That was really nice. We miss it already - see you again next year, everyone!

The whole house looked and smelled so clean. Lots of extra bedding provided, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The hosts and property were delightful. Everything about the trip was simple, easy, and relaxed.

My son and I loved our stay at this restful cottage. Not only did we have everything we needed--and more--but it is beautifully decorated, very peaceful, and comfortable. We both loved the goats and horses greeting us as we came and went!

We had a wonderful stay at the Farm Cottage! The hosts were very accommodating. They really went above and beyond to ensure our stay at their cozy and beautifully decorated cottage was exceptional! We highly recommend this vacation spot and will definitely be staying here again!!

Beautiful Property and Home

We stayed two nights and enjoyed every minute of it. We were greeted by the owner's animals. All are fenced in and we had a lot of fun watching them during our stay. The home is lovely with extra touches that made our time there even more enjoyable. We had a nice visit with the owners, who are very nice. They do not intrude and were just making sure everything was just as we wanted. Would stay here again anytime!

Best VRBO for family time on the mountains

This was an amazing VRBO right on Lookout Mountain, tucked away on a small farm. Our son loved the animals and the owners went above and beyond to make the home feel special and cozy.

We have resided on Lookout Mountain for the past 17 years. The majority of our professional careers have been in hospitality. The farm and the mountain have provided an excellent environment for raising our family, as we all enjoy hiking, gardening, mountain biking, and horses. With both of our children now grown, we decided it was time to share the farm with others who we hope will enjoy it as much as we do.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Quaint cottage tucked away on over 12 acres. The cottage sits on a hill overlooking horse pastures and farm animals. The farm is home to two Pigmy goats, (Daisy & Sadie) several chickens, two dogs (Piper and Boyd), a mini horse (Willow) and a horse (Sport). All the animals are kept fenced in, except the dogs.
