A classic lakeside getaway with modern updates. Enjoy vintage charm paired with brand-new 2025 renovations to the kitchen, bathrooms, and floors. Step onto the balcony for stunning lakefront views, relax at the pool or private beach, and enjoy tennis courts, a playground, a full kitchen, and your own BBQ for the perfect home-away-from-home stay.



Upstairs you will find the kitchen, dining area, and living room which leads out to the balcony. The balcony is set up for lakeview dining, lounging, and barbequing. The bedrooms and main bathroom are located on the lower level of the townhouse. One of the bedrooms leads out onto the green space in front of the lake.

One covered parking spot is located next to the entrance to the unit. Additional park is available only meters away. Your host will provide you with a parking pass.

Akiskinook Resort is a charming lakefront resort community located on the “warm side of the Rockies” on the shores of south of Invermere, British Columbia. The 156 units perched high on the banks overlook the lake and the ancient Purcell Mountains. Lakeshore facilities include a 125 slip marina, storage for paddling vessels and a private beach. Owners and their guests can meet and play in the Recreation centre which includes a swimming pool, hot tub, squash court, recreation area and, meeting room. There are computers for owners’ use and wireless internet.

Built in the 70s Akiskinook Resort, its owners and the many families that return year after year are woven into the fabric of the Columbia Valley and have helped to define the valley’s lake/mountain “cottage culture.”

The word “A’kis’ kin ouk” is a first nation word which means “land of two lakes” and represents Lake Windermere and Columbia Lake; the headwaters of the Columbia River. FIrst Nations thrived in the valley for many generations because of the temperate climate and the ability to live, hunt and fish year round in relative comfort. Many modern day adventurers enjoy the valley for almost the same reasons.

Great Unit + Resort Amenities

We had a wonderful stay! With the private beach, resort amenities, and nearby attractions there was lots to do. And when we opted to relax, the unit was comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and a deck bbq that we put to good use. We wished we could stay a bit longer :)

Everything we wanted and then some!

My Family and I were looking for a place that we could go to relax and unplug for New Year's; this Property delivered and then some!The Unit was clean and exactly as advertised. It had everything we needed, and the check-in/check-out process was easy!We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, skating on the lake, and enjoying a great view of the fireworks on New Year's Eve!This stay was perfection!

Beautiful property!

We had a great stay at Natasha's place. Its beautiful, welcoming and well organized with everything you could possibily need for fun and essentials. Kitchen fully stocked, towels, beach chairs, you name it, she had it! I cannot speak higher about the amenities, pool, hot tub, foosball, the rec center had it all and a great way to escape the heat it was air conditioned! The beach is a bit of a drive/walk down a steep hill, but its worth it and such a nice little private area. Thanks Natasha for a wonderful weekend.

the title may leave you guessing about the things said in this review but the only things I will say is that this is a lovely cabin stationed up the hill from a beautiful lake that in winter has the longest skating trail in the world and a visitors centre where you can enjoy air hockey video games and many other fun things. The cabin itself is cozy and comfortable with I wood burning fireplace, comfy chairs and couch and snacks including hot apple cider, a variety of teas and coffee. We enjoyed our stay at this amazing cabin and will make sure to come again. If you are looking for a fun but comfortable summer or winter get away then this cabin will not only suit you but will surprise you with fun treats and will wrap you in a feeling of comfort and overall joy.

Awesome location!

The views are spectacular and the overall location was wonderful. Dealing with Natasha was easy, friendly and efficient. The upper level of the property did get hot but the sleeping areas below were comfortable. My 10-year old twins loved this holiday! We hope to book again next summer!

Family vacation

What a great property to visit. The view was amazing and we felt right at home immediately. Rooms stayed cool despite the heat and it was easy to get to sleep at night. Best view in the Development!

Lovely home away from home

We really enjoyed our stay in the condo, it had everything we needed an so much more. The view overlooking the lake was beautiful from the deck. The resort has a nice little beach that is really kid friendly and the rec center is a great place to hang out as well. The unit gets really hot on the main floor (on hot days) as there is no air conditioning but the bedrooms are on the lower level and nice and cool, so sleeping was no problem. We had a great time and are already planning our return for next year!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely lakefront condo. The condo is spacious and well appointed with everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking gadgets which made it easy for us to prepare our meals. Beds were clean and comfortable. The best part is the view. We loved having coffees on the balcony in the morning and looking out over the lake. Check in was easy. Hosts were communicative. Unit was clean and better than advertised. We can’t wait to stay again !

Great winter vacation

Very cozy accommodations. Lovely location with beautiful views. Great to stay in the winter as they have an ice rink on the lake, access to the whiteway and just a short drive to Fairmont ski hill. Great amenities but the only issue was we wished we knew that the hot tub and pool were still under reno’s when we went but the kids still enjoyed the rec room as they had air hockey table, foosball table, gym with basketball net. Overall, it was a nice place for a family vacation.
