This listing is deceiving. The whole area was under a blizzard warning. They had roughly 3 days notice that this storm was coming, and it did. 14 inches of snow later I’m supposed to check in but the host forgot to make sure the rental was plowed. Her words “oh yeah I forgot that” when I called to find out what was going on. I was refunded that first day. Day two, and I didn’t get checked in until after 11am. So most of the day gone. Did not get a refund for that day. Now on to the house. My suggestion to anyone thinking of staying here, DON’T! Especially not during winter. The whole place is one big draft. Unless you’re standing in the bathroom you’re not going to warm up. I think the one vent this place has, was covered by laminate flooring. Which is peeling from, everywhere. Speaking of the bathroom, the flooring next to the tub is pulling away from the tub and I can see copious amounts of black mold. Huge health hazard right there. I did a bunch of baking while I stayed here because the oven was the only reason my husband and son didn’t freeze. Over by the bed the floor felt like walking on cold tile. That’s because there’s a hole to outside! There are other reviews that the bed wasn’t clean, that was not the case for me. The dishes on the other hand, all dirty. The place has not been maintained in any manner, basic things like plumbing and heating are not high on the list. All this to say I would NOT recommend staying here. It’s not worth whatever they’re charging.
