Disappointment

I have pictures to back up what I mention. The steps down to deck are so overgrown with brush they were creepy. The front side walk lined with rose bushes over grown. The kuerig didnt work because of a descale error, which means dirty. Shower door doesnt close and sink in bathroom, the cold side feels like ots about to fall off at any moment.Recliner was broken, and lint filter hadn't been cleaned in several loads.

Great cabin

We loved our weekend stay at Sunset Ridge! The location is great. We were on the strip in Pigeon Forge within 15 minutes. The cabin was perfect for my husband and I. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice cabin

We had a good stay. The area is nice. The steps down to the dock and back up were definitely a workout. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch.

Beautiful cabin on a lake

It was a nicely finished cabin on a lake. The road to get to it were steep and windy, but doable with just a regular car. We could even get door dash there. It was quiet and peaceful, but there seemed to be something I was allergic to in the bedroom. Every night when in bed my throat would start to close. It was rather uncomfortable. I couldn't ever figure out what it was. Also had an issue with the lock at one point. Having written instructions for the lock and tv (which we never got working) would have been nice. Not that we ever had time to want to sit and watch tv. Great location and the bed was incredibly comfortable!

Short getaway

My husband and I loved every second and would love to have stayed longer! Great place, very private, beautiful scenery, and lots of things to do in the area! The only issue was the mattress. It was uncomfortable and way overdue for replacement. This made for unrestful sleep and a sore back.

Great Vacation/Honeymoon

We came down to the area from Wisconsin to get married on Halloween. We thought renting this cabin would be perfect for our honeymoon and give us the chance to experience The Smokey Mountains. The property was beautiful and the location was great! The cabin was clean and all ready for us when we checked in. Everything was perfect! The scenery where the cabin is was breathtaking. We had all the essentials we needed and really only needed to buy food. I highly recommend renting this cabin and we will definitely be back. There were no problems and the check in and check out were very easy. Thank you for a wonderful stay!?

Peaceful cabin

The cabin was great. There’s a lot of steps to the fishing pier, definitely got our exercise. Very peaceful surroundings with all the comforts of home.

Was not happy at my stay in the cabin

It was labeled a lake house and it was not at all. We couldn’t see the lake from the house. I wanted a lake house to swim in and we had to walk down 138 steps. When we got down there the dock the sign said no jumping off the dock. That was a big disappointment. The cabin was small and dark. There wasent room to put away anything. It should have been labeled”cabin in the woods”. I feel it was misrepresented in the discretion. I was not happy!

Perfect!

My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with this stay. We enjoyed the quiet and clean atmosphere and it was perfect for a small getaway. We did have a wake up call from a woodpecker and that brought lots of laughs. It was great!

vacation 2022

We loved loved loved your place! Everything was awesome the only thing we found was the electric grill had not been cleaned and the hot tub had some sort of oily substance. There was a bad stain around the top of the tub right at the water level and there was not any chlorine tablets in the floater. We aren’t complainers so I cleaned your grill very good including the lid and it looked great when we left. Also scrubbed the stain around the tub and we went and purchased some recommended bromine to remove oily substance and a deformer, which we did leave under the sink. Again we are not complainers and understand sometimes things just get overlooked. I guess you could say my line of work keeps me grounded and understanding. Lol ! Im a General Manager so I am not upset or angry. We again loved your place and wouldn’t hesitate to come back next year ! I have you saved in so we may venture around again . Thanks so much for having us. Oh and what kind and brand is that wonderful , heavenly mattress????

Great property manager!

Payton was a pleasure to work with. He was very prompt with his responses to any questions we had and was very polite. The property is a nice little cozy cottage, but there are some things to take note of that we found. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. It has a memory foam topper, but it’s so used and the mattress is so old, that you sink straight down to the box spring. If you are sleeping with your spouse, you will both roll into the middle and is not a good bed for people with bad backs. Your price includes a cleaning crew fee, but we are not sure what they really cleaned. My wife and I swept the house before we left and there were piles of dirt, dust, and hair. The sheets smelt like musty water so not sure if they left them in the washer too long after the cycle was complete. Note that if you plan on fishing, there is a total of 137 steps to get down to the pond in the back. Not a huge deal for us, but may be for others. The solar lights along the steps to the water do not last long so be mindful! Lastly, if you enjoy watching tv at night, there are a very limited amount of channels that are available. Again, the property manager was great and the cottage is nice, but these are things to take note of.
