This home features spectacular views of Thatcher Island’s twin lighthouses, Loblolly Cove and the Atlantic Ocean from the spacious deck and almost every room. Downstairs there’s a fully equipped kitchen with an induction stove, and a private office with views of the water. Upstairs, the master bedroom has picture windows, a king bed and an en-suite bath with walk-in shower. This quiet retreat is minutes from Town beaches and the scenic town of Rockport.

Please note: If you plan to bring a pet it is important to let us know when you make the booking as some guests are allergic to pet dander.

Spectacular Stay!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay! Communication with the owner was delightful, the property is absolutely gorgeous. The ocean view is second to none. Everything from the design of the house to the amenities is carefully and beautifully thought out. For example, every kitchen tool you can think of was available, thick towels, beautiful linens, all super quality. We are already thinking about a longer stay next year! Highly, highly recommend.

Fantastic long weekend with the kids

Katha has the most well-stocked house rental we have ever stayed at. We did not need to bring anything - including beach items. The house is the cleanest rental we ever stayed in and as such the cleaning fee is actually more than reasonable (unlike many other properties). Katha was easy to reach with questions in advance of our trip. The house is generally kid friendly - we moved some decor to the private office during our stay just in case - and is beautifully rehabilitated. You cannot beat the views on a sunny day. Would recommend 10 out of 10.

Rockport Dreamland

Make no mistake—I think this house was expensive for a winter rental by the shore. However, what a great house! Beautiful design, comfortable beds, thoughtful and generous amenities, fully equipped modern kitchen—and boy, what a view! If you want to treat yourself special, Eden Cove the place to be.

Annual retreat

We have been coming to Rockport for 41 years. This was our best overall experience. We arived under difficult circumstances having evacuated from our home in western north carolina after Hurricane Helene. Our host, Katha, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. The property is beautiful and the vistas breathtaking.we will return!

Great property, location, and views.

Very nicely remodeled home with quality furnishings that is very comfortable, clean, well-equipped, and well-maintained. The large front deck is awesome for enjoying the views of Thacher Island, the ocean, and all the boats day and night. (In my opinion, the online photos don’t do the view justice.) The location is somewhat private and secluded, minimizing local traffic and offering the opportunity for long leisurely walks and more great views. At the same time the location is very convenient to Rockport and Gloucester. My wife and I very much enjoyed our two week stay in July and hope to stay there again.

Dream Vacation

The house is beyond amazing! The location is unreal. It overlooks an herb garden, a field of wildflowers and the ocean. Prior to our arriving at the house, we had made reservations to eat out almost every evening. After seeing the incredible view from the deck and the FABULOUS kitchen, we cancelled our dinner reservations and ate dinner on the amazing porch each night. The ocean breezes would blow over the herb garden of lavender and other fragrant herbs and onto the deck. Absolute heaven! The house is recently renovated and is GORGEOUS! Everything was beyond our expectations. Our delightful host Katha was very prompt in replying to any and all questions such as beach locations.

Fantastic Rockport rental

We were lucky enough to stay here over the holidays and had a fantastic stay. Katha was extremely communicative and helpful before and during our stay. The property is beautiful, clean, and well maintained with clear directions for all appliances and recommendations for local restaurants. The views are amazing. I would recommend this rental and Katha as a host for anyone looking to stay in Rockport.

Stunning sunrises!

Very cute New England experience! Katha was wonderful and attentive. The kitchen was well stocked. The home was clean, cute and perfect for us. We were a group consisting of 3 couples. Perfect for family as well. Waking up every morning to the most stunning sunrises. We would definitely stay again.

House with ocean view

The house was beautiful with ocean views visible from the entire downstairs as it has an open floor plan as well as one of the upstairs bedrooms (the master bedroom) When we had a question it was very easy to get in touch with the hostess.

Intoxicating

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Our family is from Gloucester and Rockport and we having becoming back for over four decades. The views from the cottage are absolutely beautiful. Didn’t matter day or night, we were on the porch staring at the ocean views. Never turned on the AC and the ocean breezes were fantastic. Highly recommend this cottage.

Fabulous house and perfect location

We loved our stay - one of our very best in many years of coming to Rockport. The house was simply wonderful, with a spectacular view of Thatcher Island and a magnificent field of wild flowers that made us feel like we were living in an Impressionist painting. The location within walking distance of several beaches is ideal, the surroundings are peaceful and quiet and the house is spacious and very well equipped. Everything was very clean, super comfortable, great for cooking and sitting on the deck was heavenly both in the morning and evening. ( it could get a bit hot mid-day so perhaps an umbrella or some type of shade would be a nice addition.) We highly recommend this house for a special vacation. The best that Rockport has to offer!

Beautiful House in Beautiful Location

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Katha's house in Rockport. The house is amazing, and the views are gorgeous. The house is beautiful, immaculate and fully stocked. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and some snacks to begin our week. Not only are the views from the house stunning, but the location of the house is perfect. It's on a very quiet street and just a short scenic walk to three beautiful beaches. Downtown Rockport and downtown Gloucester are both a very short drive away. We absolutely loved this property and hope to return soon.

Beautiful house and view at Eden Cove

We were here for a wedding weekend and needed a house for respite between events. This house was recently completely renovated and is tasteful & beautiful! The view of the water and Thatcher’s island and twin lights is gorgeous. Enjoyed the deck facing the water. Plenty of room for 5 of us to have private space and enjoy time together. Kitchen had everything we needed & Katha kindly left wine, Brie, baguette, milk and cream. Very clean and stylish. Loved the art & soothing atmosphere. Thanks Katha. We hope to come back to your lovely spot!!

Everything about this property, from the location to the residence was beautiful. Lacking nothing and actually beyond our expectations! Perfect cottage with an ocean view

The property was perfect for reconnecting with our two adult children and their spouses. The host thought of everything we might need to make our stay more comfortable. The weather was cool and overcast, but the house was cozy and full of light despite the clouds - and the view is spectacular. The house is well laid-out to provide plenty of space for everyone. Parking was never a problem during our stay.

Beautiful Cape Ann retreat with spectacular views

The house is stunning - totally renovated with comfortable living spaces. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen, cozy living room with pellet stove, and expansive deck. The master BR had stunning views of the water and looked out over Thatcher Island, which has not one, but two lighthouses to capture the imagination! We spent a quite day baking as the snow blew sideways and the waves pounded the beach. The next day the sun came out and we explored Rockport and nearby beaches. The final morning we were met with calm water and a brilliant sunrise.! We wouldn’t hesitate to come back again if returning to the area.
