Escape to The Farmhouse Retreat—a one-of-a-kind stay on our private 44-acre hobby farm in Hendersonville, NC. Wake up with coffee on the porch while goats play, chickens roam, birds sing, and our emu splashes in the creek. It’s peaceful, fun, and unforgettable for both kids and adults.

This spacious 3-bedroom / 2-bath home is designed for families, couples, and groups looking for a relaxing getaway. Comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests with a king suite, multiple queen/full beds, bunk beds, and a large sectional. Thoughtfully stocked with family-friendly extras like a Pack ’n Play, stroller, high chair, toys, books, games, and more.

Perfectly located near the area’s best attractions:
• 20 min to Chimney Rock
• 20 min to Downtown Hendersonville
• 27 min to Asheville Airport
• 30 min to Biltmore Estate

Birthday Weekend Getaway

My family and I loved this house! It was clean, the location is great, and the farm animals are adorable. If we are in the Hendersonville area again, we will definitely put it at the top of our list to stay there again.

Great place out off the beaten path but still close to civilization

We loved being able to wake up and see the livestock out the front window. The owners were very communicative and gave us direct contact numbers Incase we needed anything during our stay.

Wonderful Weekend

This was a great place for my husband and me to take our parents on a family vacation. The farm atmosphere was amazing and the house was very homey. An excellent experience.

Great farm getaway

We have a friend that lives in Hendersonville, so this was the perfect getaway for us to see them, watch some football, and enjoy the mountains and all the animals all while being 25 minutes from the Apple festival! Great place and Johnathan was so hospitable!

Grateful farm stay

Our family throughly enjoyed our visit and can't wait to return. Jonathan is an exceptional host and made us feel right at home on the farm. The kids adored all of the animals and the hospitality was top notch! Excellent location combined with exceptional hosts and a fully stocked kitchen made for a smooth trip and a desire to return.

Fast and great stay

We stayed the weekend. The location we perfect for an apple-picking weekend. My grandson loved feeding the animals and holding the baby goat. Perfect place to bring kids. I highly recommend!

Greta farmhouse!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The house is plenty big enough and very accommodating. It was clean and we had a relaxing stay. The communication was above and beyond and the owners are very nice people. I recommend this house 100%!

Perfect family togetherness spot!

The property was clean and well-stocked, the host accomodating, and the description accurate. Can't believe we were able to do so much close by and have the option to come "home" and re-group so easily. So happy with our exerpeince!

Great stay on the farm!

We had a great stay. Accommodated my family of 10 very well. Minnie, the dog greeted us almost every day! Very sweet! We visited family, went hiking, and snowboarding! The kids had a blast! All within a short drive. Would love to do it again!!

Enjoyed our stay in the mountains

Myself, husband and our children ages 12, 9, 7, 4, and 1 1/2 stayed for the week. We enjoyed feeding the animals each evening and went to Lake Lure beach, Chimney Rock, Asheville, and hiking during the day (all within an easy drive). We had plenty of space for our family and some space for the kids to play outside.

Great home for small children. They provided lots of toys, a pack n play, stroller and even a bed rail for my toddler who alligator rolls throughout the night!

Kids loved meeting the animals. Peacocks we’re so friendly. Had a fire with s’mores. Cute space in a beautiful location. Good Wi-Fi but no cell service. Download maps!

Mountain getaway

This house is the cutest little farm house. The kids enjoyed staying here and seeing the animals. There’s lot of kids toys, pack n play, high hair, etc. This is the perfect house for a family with young children. We enjoyed watching the variety of movies and playing games with the family. We will be back!

Farm House

The location of this house is great for scenic views and if you are visiting The Cabin Ridge venue. The house is simple and clean. It was roomy enough for our family of 6 adults and one child. The farm animals didn't bother us at all. Owners were very friendly and accommodating.

We had a wonderful time! Great location, very clean, easy check-in and check-out process. Loved the black out curtains. Haha, you don’t realize how important those are till you have kids. We also got to enjoy the farm and our kids pet and fed all the cute animals. Fantastic and unique view to wake up to. We will stay there again in a heartbeat!

Home away from home

If you are looking for a home away from home feel this is your place. The owner was very quick to respond and answer any questions for us. The location is great and close to downtown Hendersonville and a ton of other activities. The place is very kid-friendly and provides toys and other items for your infant to your younger kids. The animals are a great bonus and once a day you have the opportunity to help feed the animals. When we are back in town we will be booking again and we already can't wait to come back.

Family Fun

We enjoyed our stay at FarmHouse Retreat! Jonathan was prompt anytime I emailed him! My brother talked to him and found him to be quiet friendly. The house was exceptionally clean. The beds were all very comfortable! Our cell phones worked at the house (ATT) and the Wi-Fi was awesome! We enjoyed watching the animals! Thanks for a great time!!

Relaxing Getaway!

We had an amazing time at the Farmhouse Retreat. It was so very relaxing and it was the perfect place to just unwind and reset. It's convenient for just about any food or shopping you may want, but "off the grid" enough to just sit back and forget about your cares for a little while. The hosts were awesome, inviting us to help feed all of their wonderful animals at dinner time. Their farm is a must see for anyone that has little ones or for anyone that loves animals. From Minnie the dog to Wednesday the mini donkey to Theodore the pig, we enjoyed all of them! We hope to visit again soon.
