The home was very clean and welcoming. The floor plan was open and spacious. Although there are homes nearby, it feels like you are out in nature. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful. The hosts were easy to communicate with and responsive. The property is nearby to both Blue Ridge and Ellijay and is close to hiking, apple picking, and other activities. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Overall, the property was nice outside of needing more lighting since several area lights did not work. The description of the hot tub was in accurate. The pictures lead you to believe the Jacuzzi is same level but was not. Otherwise it was great

Great Cabin Getaway

This location is perfect for families perfectly placed near Blue Ridge Lake. It has all the amenities for entertainment with a pool table, games and relaxing fun with a jacuzzi facing the beautiful outdoors. It has all the supplies for homecooked meals or BBQ. The inside was clean and organized and well labeled. Exterior has an amazing swing facing the trees with wonderful views. The only thing that could have been better for our stay would have been if the deck, outdoor furniture and wet bar been wiped down prior to our arrival. I did have to sweep the deck, clean the table and wipe down the cushions. Although minor, this would have made our stay better. Definitely recommend staying here.

Hi Larissa, I'm glad you had a good time! I apologize for the deck was a little dusty. Unfortunately that time of year provides a lot of pollen. We do our best to clean it after every stay but the pollen is hard to keep up with that time of year.

Christmas in the mountains

My husband and I took our kids to this cabin for our annual Christmas vacation. The space was cozy and the view was amazing. All amenities were there to make cooking a breeze. The one downfall was there were no linens. This is listed as a property that can sleep more than it really can. Sleeping in a cot and or couch with no sheets felt gross to me, and there were no pillows cases. Other than that we enjoyed playing pool, and hanging out together.

The cabin was exactly like the advertisement. The cabin was fully equipped with everything you need. It was very clean. The Host was very responsive and detailed. Our recent stay at the cabin was overall a wonderful experience. The space was clean, comfortable, and very spacious—perfect for family gatherings. The atmosphere was relaxing and fun for everyone in our group, and we appreciated the care taken to maintain the property.However, I do want to note that the cabin is not handicap-accessible. There were no ramps, handrails, or other mobility aids, which made it challenging for my mother-in-law. She was unable to access the regular bed due to its height, and the daybed had a missing wheel, which made it unstable. Fortunately, the hosts were very accommodating and allowed us to use the lockout unit, which helped resolve the issue for our family.If accessibility is not a concern, this cabin is a great option for comfort and fun. But for guests with mobility limitations, it may not be best fit unless some modifications are made in the future.

Birthday weekend get away

The home was beautiful and did not disappoint. We arrived Thursday nite and left Sunday. The kitchen had everything needed to cook. We did a birthday breakfast and steaks on the grill Friday. The set up is perfect so that if you need time at be there is plenty of room for that plus the common area was perfect to play pool or watch t. Or sit at the huge table and play cards and still be together. The decor is very pretty and the sheets well they smelled fresh and clean like home and not like a hotel. If you are looking for a place that has it all this is the place to be. The deck off the back offers breathtaking views as well. Another plus you are not that far from blue ridge the apples house and elijay. Go enjoy life is to short not too

Great Cabin for Families

Cabin and host were amazing! Very clean inside. Comfortable beds and plenty of room. We cooked half our meals and the kitchen had everything needed. Hot tub worked great and we enjoyed it often. Only thing that was minimal was the mountain views. It's dense vegetation around and hinders the ability to see, but we still enjoyed beautiful sunrises. The roads in and out are very narrow and a little rough in spots, but that's normal in this region. The host has done a good job of labeling all light switches and remotes in each room, very helpful! They also have complied a nice array of information of things to do and places to eat in the area. We highly recommend the Blue Ridge Tubing during the warmer months. Overall, our group had a great stay and would be open to staying here again in the future.

Peaceful and lovely cabin

The Cabin was absolutely beautiful. The bedrooms were nice and very comfortable. FYI: Beds are VERY high therefore is not for elderly people or people who can’t raise their knee. The kitchen is FULLY equipped, there’s no need to bring anything because it won’t work. The stove only works with their cooking sets. But they have everything you need to cook your meals. They have blankets, towels, etc. They also have a nice grill :) I would recommend this cabin 100%. The host was also very communicative and responsive.

Quick Getaway

This cabin is stunning! The view is amazing. You have all the privacy you need (perfect place to mediate, recharge, relax, etc..). The owners were very friendly, caring and kind. They made sure that if they were needed, it was one call away. Very spacious, but yet cozy. The only thing you need to bring is your clothes, food and drinks. The surround sound felt like we were at the movies, lol (I was shocked) and can be heard throughout the cabin. Pots, pans, forks, spoons, knifes, plates, cups, glasses, bowls, towels, rags, dish detergent, foil paper, and even some seasonings were available for us to use (so much more I didn't list). We enjoyed playing pool each and every night we were there (it's very much level) and even played a few of the board games that were at our disposal as well. The only thing I can say about this place is, the bedroom to the left of the kitchen.... the ceiling fan light needs to be tighten and batteries were dead in some of the remotes in master bedroom. Ooohhh! and you better be prepared to climb to get there, lol (front wheel drive). WE WILL BE BACK FOR A MUCH LONGER TIME!

Renters Beware: Very Disappointing Stay (1500 characters allowed on the review are not enough)

I was very disappointed with this poorly maintained property, which didn’t match its description or photos—deceptive advertising. If booking, confirm with the host, by photos that issues are fixed.The Drive UpMountain roads are steep, with sharp turns and no warning on VRBO. Driving at night or in snow without chains is risky, and ice could make inclines life-threatening.Check-In IssuesNo clear guidance on which door to use, and the host didn’t respond. Two front doors had no keypad, and the rear door was dark with no lights on.Deceptive Advertising•"Twin bed" advertised was actually a broken folding bed.•No sofa bed or ice maker, despite being listed.•Heating failed; 2nd and 3rd room was cold during 20F weather.Safety Concerns•Broken banister with exposed screws.•Sharp plastic near the pool table.•Nail sticking up from the floor.Damaged Items•Deep scratches on floors.•Couch gouged and duct-taped.•Master bedroom door useless.•Desk drawer ripped. •Broken pool table with cardboard under legs.Lighting IssuesPorch, bathroom, and fireplace lights didn’t work. Deck required GFCI reset.Aesthetic & Maintenance Issues•No fireplace instructions.•Dilapidated exterior sign, taped door handle, missing caulking.•TVs had dangling cables; blinds were sheer or didn’t provide privacy.The HostSent someone to clean deck, but no handyman to fix the banister. Promised only a 1 night credit but deducted 1/3 for trivial issue, and a damaged blind that was pre-existing.

Raul, I am very sorry that you had this experience, however I did my best to improve your experience by sending housekeepers and handymen out to fix some of these perceived issues as well as credited you a night stay for your concerns. We have not had any of this feedback with our 100s of previous guest stays so this was quite shocking to get your feedback. I wish there was a way to make your stay more enjoyable. In our post stay review of the cabin, all of these things were either fixed or found to be factually inaccurate. I wish you the best and hope that you find peace.
