Everything about this property and its host has been stellar we will look to book again in the future.Very accommodating and a last minute change in our itinerary we were able to get an extra night with little to no hassle wonderful people great experience. Also be sure to check out some of the local suggestions if you don’t know much about the area. Came to visit our new grandson and took my daughter around to things they didn’t even know about the area.Thank you

Wonderful. House was spotless. Bedrooms were welcoming. Plenty of inside games for a rainy day. Children's playhouse was full of activities for the little ones. Neighborhood was quite. Will stay here again.

The Adventure Lodge was very clean and neatly organized. The host has definitely put in a lot of thought into setting up the place for the guests. We had a pleasant stay and family get together. Our 3 year old enjoyed reading the books and playing with the toys in the play house. Thank you.

This home was beautiful and was the perfect place for my family. Plenty of room, very clean, and loved everything for the little kids. My grandson loved the playhouse and toys. They thought if everything and I highly recommend!

The house was absolutely perfect! The kitchen was well stocked and everything we could have possibly needed(or forgotten) was already there!! The beds were amazingly comfortable! The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The playhouse was a huge hit with my grandson! Julie was available for anything at any time! We will definitely stay again!

Great place !!

Stayed for a week while attending an antique tractor show in Denton. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area. Third bathroom is a bit away from the third bedroom but very workable for three senior couples. Loved it.

Visit to Ashboro

Plenty of space.. we had 7 adults (from ages 21-81) and 1 toddler. The place fit everyone’s needs. Kitchen well equipped, entire house clean, and upgraded. Perfect location for NC Zoo, and beautiful Seagrove Pottery.

Clean, Spacious, Convenient - the Best!

The Adventure Lodge was such a wonderful place to relax and gather with our family of 6 adults and two young children. It was much larger than we were expecting and so well laid-out with several spaces to hang out together or separately (living room, game room, sun room). There was even a door from the living room to the hallway, making for extra-quiet sleeping (perfect for our little ones).The toys in the game room and the outdoor playhouse were a fun bonus and the quiet neighborhood streets were great for walks and stroller rides. There were also relaxing patios on the side and back of the house, and we spent several hours sitting on the long covered front porch.From the house it was a quick easy drive to the NC Zoo for one day's adventure. Another day we went to the Greensboro Science Center, which our 3-year old grand daughter loved even more! We had one rainy day, when we took a quick trip to the nearby Asheboro Mall, but the house was so spacious and comfortable we would have been happy just staying there for the entire visit. And did I mention clean? It has to be the cleanest VRBO we've ever stayed in. I also loved that it was tastefully but minimally decorated - not overly cluttered like some other places we've stayed at in the past.Julie was very quick to respond to all my messages, and instructions were very clear. Check-in was a breeze. This was certainly one of the best VRBOs we've stayed in, and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Perfect for kids!

I cannot say enough great things about this property or the host! We ended up meeting face to face with Julie due to a quick thunderstorm passing by. She had come by to check on house and make sure everything was safe and set up properly before our arrival. The instant I met her, I could tell she was passionate about serving people and truly wanted us to feel at home on her property. The house is as advertised, plus black out shades in the sun room, plenty of extra blankets in each closet, stuffed animal in the “kids” room, and lots of toys/games in the game room. The neighborhood appeared safe and quiet. The first morning we were there, I couldn’t get the Keurig to work, but Julie and Ron came to the rescue within the hour to replace it! In the kitchen were individual packs of condiments, individual bowls of a variety of cereals, and some water bottles and apple juices (for the kids). The bathrooms were fully stocked with all the necessities, except your toothbrush! The yard was clean and well kept and the playhouse was a perfect fit for our littles (4 kids aging 2-5yrs old). We were minutes from the zoo, which is why we went on this trip to begin with. My family and I will be returning!

Perfect in every way!

Beautiful home, great location, easy access to some great restaurants and the NC Zoo. This home would be perfect for a family adventure, or very comfy for a couple. Would definately book again.

Wonderful Weekend Stay

What a wonderful visit we had in this lovely and clean and welcoming haven. This place is set up perfectly to make us feel at home for our stay. Comfortable beds and living areas (3), an open kitchen for gathering for meals, and a lovely outdoor area for relaxing in a quiet neighborhood, offered us the perfect place for our family to spend time together. The kids playhouse was adorable and a treat for the little ones. While in the area, we enjoyed the restaurant suggestion, went on hikes, did creek stompin’ with the littles, and of course had a big day at the zoo. We would love to come back and do it all again. Special thanks to the great hosts!

Home repair stay!

Rental was welcoming and fully furnished with everything your home would have. Each room was decorated and peaceful to be in. Our host, Julie was absolutely wonderful and easy to contact. My home was getting new floors and I'm so glad I found this home. I would highly recommend it to anyone! A true blessing for me and my daughter.

Excellent property

The house was very clean and well kept. Julie was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to help make accommodations due to some of my family’s allergies. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the Asheboro area.

Great stay :)

Second time booking this place and it’s been such a great experience. It’s very spacious and it’s fully equipped with everything you need. The area is peaceful and nice , overall very good and would book again.

Great place!

We loved it here. The house was as described and very clean. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Great location if you’re visiting the zoo or headed down to Seagrove to check out the pottery. We will definitely be back!

Tot Hill Golf Trip

Absolutely perfect! Two couples shared this amazing house for a golf trip to Tot Hill Farms. Location close to golf/town. House--lots of space, comfy beds, game room and bathrooms rock. Communication was quick and easy. 5*'s!

Great time with my family

This is a very child friendly place. It is large enough for “space” to do several activities at once, close to a lot of good activities and food. The hosts are super. They really care you enjoy your visit and that you get the most from it. I strongly expect to bring all of us to this nice house again.

Sibling weekend

Six of us had a great weekend catching up in this house setup thoughtfully for short rentals. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. Plus there were grocery stores nearby and wonderful restaurants and attractions to entertain.

Zoo Trip

Me, my mother, my daughter and her family stayed 3 nights. The home was spotless, everything very functional and neat. My 2yo grandson loved the play house and the yard! Julie left a note for the 3 kids who found that "really cool" (says the 14 year old). The zoo is less than 15 min. away as is everything else, shopping, dining, and nice bowling alley we visited. Would definitely stay again!

Very welcoming

Perfect place for any family visiting the North Carolina zoo. We also explored the Pisgah covered bridge and made a day trip to Kersey Valley for zipline. Very clean, comfortable beds, 3 full bathrooms were appreciated by our teens.

Whether your adventure is antique shopping, visiting the museums, canoeing, zip lining, four-wheeling, hiking, visiting the amazing North Carolina Zoo, feeding the animals directly at the Lazy 5 Ranch, business, or just relaxing with your family, we have created the Adventure Lodge for your adventure. We would love to provide you with a wonderful home for your special time here in the foothills of North Carolina.

Adventure Lodge is located in a quiet neighborhood, right off the interstate and about 10 minutes to the World's Largest Zoo. We have an outdoor Adventure Playhouse for the young ones. Really convenient for shopping and restaurants of Asheboro. It's perfect for families with children and is a one level ranch style home that is very safe for the young and seniors.
