Your holiday destination is in the small village of Roddan (approx. 100 inhabitants), an idyll on the edge of the Elbtalaue biosphere reserve. From the balcony of your 2-room apartment you look into the large courtyard and further on meadows, forest and fields.

Apartment 2 is located on the upper floor of the large former farmhouse and has a separate entrance from the street (service street) with a historic entrance door. In the stairwell, we show you information about the region with information boards and point out current events.
Your cozy living room opens onto the balcony and has a dining table with 4 chairs, couch, television and a TV armchair to relax. In the bedroom there are 2 beds 90x200 next to each other with matching bedside tables. For particularly busy holidaymakers, we have added a small desk where you can do things that have been left lying around.
The kitchen is fully equipped for your self-catering with dishes, contains an oven, microwave, freezer, dishwasher and various other devices. A breakfast bar with stools is available for a quick meal.
On summer days, of course, the balcony is ideal for your meals, sunbathing in the afternoon or the view of the starry sky in the late evening.

You have many options for relaxation:
Would you prefer to relax in the courtyard on garden furniture or keep fit with ball and outdoor games, enjoy nature on field and forest paths, buy day tickets for the fishing ponds of Plattenburg or for local waters, discover rare birds and plants in the biosphere reserve , look at the nature on the Havel and Elbe, let yourself be pampered in the crystal thermal bath in Bad Wilsnack or .. or ... just sleep in peace?

Cyclists appreciate the proximity to well-developed cycle paths, which enable routes of different lengths to be marked by intersections. Friends of geocaching can now also find many interesting destinations in the region.

There are shops in Bad Wilsnack, Havelberg, Perleberg or Wittenberge. You don't have to look far for restaurants and cafés, but there are no shops or restaurants in the Roddan district.

In the surrounding area, well-maintained bike paths invite you to day trips on flat terrain. Our region is also quite poor in rain. The Elbdeich and Bad Wilsnack with the thermal baths and the Plattenburg are easy to reach, and the stork village of Rühstädt also invites you to visit.
In 2015 Havelberg offers a special attraction with the BUGA and its changing exhibitions, but also the cathedral and the Prignitz Museum with a wonderful view from the cathedral square - there is a heated outdoor pool, the possibility of steamboat trips to the nature reserve of the Havel, a stroll through the old town, etc. . etc.
