The calm next to the hustle and bustle
Not far from the metropolis of Hamburg, our separate guest house on an approximately 1 hectare property - our "near park" - offers guests a stay according to their wishes. Be a base and resting point for big city adventures in the most cosmopolitan of all German cities, the Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Or as the center of rather quiet activities in the typical Lower Saxon village landscape in southwest Hamburg.

Our guest house has a separate entrance and guarantees you an undisturbed stay. It offers a temporary home for up to six people: there is a cozy king-size double bed in each of two bedrooms, and there is also a very comfortable sofa bed on which one person can relax.

If you come by car, you can park for free and safely on the property, where children can play - completely undisturbed and just as safe.

Cable television, WiFi and WLAN are available to our guests free of charge - if you do not prefer the view of the old trees.

The separate guest house with its own entrance, which is independent of the house of the host, offers a cozy ambience with modern comfort for short or long stays.
Behind its brick facade you will find the apartment with its fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and Senseo coffee machine.
The dining table offers space for six people - more than enough space, even if it is more than "just" a breakfast.
Two bedrooms each have a king-size bed (180x200cm) and you can also find a sofa bed if needed, which can comfortably accommodate another person. Six people are not too close to each other, it remains spacious.

You should take a little time for the property around the house. There are many nice places here, where you can simply pause and let your soul sag for a few minutes.

Other types of sag are also provided: all windows have shutters. This has to do with the fact that Hamburg is only three quarters of an hour away and can be easily reached by train or car. As is well known, the nights in Hamburg are long (Fred Bertelmann already knew this in 1956 ...) and how it is - at the back end, some nights are a bit short. So leave the shutters down and enjoy an undisturbed night's sleep when it's night for you.
Finally, you can come and go as you like: there is of course a separate key to the separate entrance, and your car is safe on the property.

On summer days, the stylish sun deck offers an extension of the living space to the outside: here you will not only find sun loungers, but also a charcoal grill for preparing rustic meals outside the kitchen.
And if it's not so summery: there is underfloor heating in all rooms, which also ensures comfort on socks.

And if the weather cannot really decide and you are not in the mood for a big city: from us to Worpswede it is only around 60 kilometers of a beautiful route. Here you can experience a piece of great German art history using countless, extremely lively examples. If you don't want to travel so far from your vacation home: The Hanseatic city of Buxtehude offers a lot for the eyes (and the stomach) with its town hall district, which is under maintenance statutes. You can also look for a rabbit and two hedgehogs. The race retold by the Brothers Grimm took place here. And the dogs bark their tails here too - but let a local tell you that. He also invites you to say goodbye: “Kiek mol wedder in!"

More like nature and our property is not enough? "Kahles Moor", "Wildes Moor", "Harselah", "Auenniederung" - all of this lies within a few kilometers and therefore within the reach of short trips, such as the holiday and local recreation area "Altes Land".

You don't need to travel far to do this if you want to take care of the everyday things you need: on foot you are in the center of Apensen with its 4,000 inhabitants in five minutes. Here you will find supermarkets, banks, post office and bakeries. It is not much further to the train station or the bus stop, and here you have connections, not only to Hamburg.

You have noticed it for a long time: living and living here inspires us, your hosts. And we are convinced that this enthusiasm will spread to you to some extent. It does not matter whether you are traveling as a tourist, whether you have business to do in Hamburg, or whether you want to honor one of the countless Hamburg trade fairs and congresses with your presence.
