Historic Home Near Little Falls

Built in 1887, Meadow View Manor has kept it's historic charm through the years. Meadow View Manor features a fully updated kitchen, spacious dining room, sitting room, a cozy wood burning fireplace, and plenty of room for your party to spread out. Upstairs you'll find four beautiful bedrooms. Off the main hallway, venture into the maid's quarters which features the laundry room, back stairway, and bunkroom. Our bunkroom can sleep up to 6 people.
The property is located on 17 acres on a quiet dead end gravel road. Play outside in the beautiful shaded yard. We have a basketball hoop and various outside games for our guests.

Sisters getaway weekend with our 83 year old mom. PERFECT place and setting to relax, craft, read, spread out puzzles, enjoy the peaceful forest surroundings with walks and a fire pit, along with the fun shops, bars, and places to eat in town a few minutes away!

Awesome home, memorable stay

We were tickled to be staying in such a beautiful home. The craftsmanship, detail, sturdiness, soundness of this amazing house was appreciated by us all. We were honored to be able to experience this wonderful home and grounds. The little ones, ages 5 (twins) and 3 year old were so excited to be here, and loved every inch of it. The “hidden stairway “ was a special treat. They will remember the stay here. They had so much fun.Every room held something special. Every room met all expectations and more.No complaints at all.

Amazing

Everything was perfect! The home is beautiful, clean and the yard is gorgeous! We saw many beautiful birds, turkeys, deer and a raccoon. My niece and grandson loved it. I was in Little Falls for my daughter’s wedding and we ran in to an emergency that had me in tears. Out of desperation I reached out to Katelyn to ask her for help. She answered the phone immediately and was so kind and saved the weekend from catastrophe. I don’t have words to express my gratitude. We would absolutely stay here again.Thank you a million times over!

The property is just stunning. Such beautiful architecture and history! It is also very well loved and cared for. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is plenty of space for a large group. Every single thing about it was just right!

This house is beautiful and there is plenty of yard space. Once here and unpacked there is no reason to leave. The host is quick to respond to questions and was very helpful. We had 9 adults and 13,4,3 and 1 year old. There was plenty of space for all of us. We celebrated the life of a family member who grew up in little falls. The kitchen has plenty of pots and pans for cooking. There are plenty of towels and a washer and dryer if needed. There is a grill for use outside and several chairs you can put around the camp fire. They have a picnic table but also have a few extra tables if needed. Lots of board games to play along with some yard games. Giant jinga, ladder ball and croquet set. After our stay we did stop in town to go to the zoo! Kids loved it. This place is a fantastic place to relax and spend time with family.

Baby Shower Suprise

Beautiful home

Our host was great! We stayed in the lovely Meadow View Manor. We were there to celebrate my daughters 50th and my grandsons 16th birthday. There was plenty of room for everyone in this beautiful home. We plan on coming back during warmer weather!

The Groom’s Fam

This house is about 150 years old if I read the details correctly. There are a total of 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. We traveled from CA for my son’s wedding. His bride and her family live out there. We had my 2 daughters and their spouses using two rooms, one of my oldest friends using another, another dear friend who was our wedding photographer using the last bedroom with a double or queen bed. I had decided to take the 5th room with bunk beds. To my surprise these were sturdy twin over double wood framed bunks and enough for 3 more which was good because my step daughter called and said she and her daughter were going to be able to make it! I notified the property owner and she easily accommodated our needs. The groom even stayed with us the first night in that room. It was perfect. Now that’s not all though, this house had a really cool “super old” old vibe. The decor was perfect for the style of the house. There were nooks, hallways, and so many rooms to spend time in. We have a silly imagination in our family and decided to call this lovely home a haunted house because of how big it was and while my daughters and I were at the rehearsal dinner my two friends one being a photographer took some creative black and white photos. This home would be a great place for mystery dinner parties, Halloween or harvest parties, and the woods and yard were so nice we could have had the rehearsal dinner there in the big dining room. Wonderful Historic House

This house is a beauty. Wonderful vintage architecture. We came for the Little Falls Art Show. There were five bedrooms with two bunk beds in one bedroom, so all six of us had our own bed. And all the beds were comfortable. The house is huge with plenty of spaces to congregate. We would highly recommend this rental!

Girls weekend

Our group of 6 friends loved this location for a long weekend. The view from the porch and main rooms is lovely, and all the decor is charming. All the bedrooms are on the larger side, and the kitchen allows lots of people to hang out and chat during meal prep or cleaning up. It was a hot weekend but the porch was shady and pleasant and the AC kept the house cool. Hosts were very thoughtful. We would definitely pick this lovely location again!

Family return to parents hometown

Our parents grew up in Little Falls. After they passed away the 5 of us kids wanted to go back and visit places we went to as children. This house was wonderful. There was plenty of room and it was well equipped in the kitchen, with linens and bathroom supplies. Although we never saw our host, she was easily accessible by text or phone. I loved that it had the charm of an old farmhouse but it amenities of a modern home.

Great Stay

What a beautiful place to stay and relax. Lots of room, everything we needed to prep and cook meals. Great outdoor spaces for any season. Enjoyed the complimentary firewood and fireplace. The rooms are all decorated so nicely with unique pieces, it is fun just to see it and admire it, let alone stay there. It was also very nice to have paths right on the property to walk. Check in was easy in and out, and the host answered all my questions and was very helpful. She got the grill out for us to use in the winter and she answered her phone at 12:37am when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Really really appreciated the responsiveness! Another Great Christmas In The Books

This place is the best! As we downsized our home, we have our family Christmas here, second year in a row and booking next year. There is just so much space. Privacy in bedrooms, the kitchen is great for meals. If you like history and a slice of yesterday...do yourself a favor and book a stay here!

My husband and I moved to Little Falls in 2012 and have called it "home" ever since. When a unique, historic property came up for sale in our area, we immediately fell in love with it and decided it needed to be shared with others. As a host, my favorite thing is to hear guests say that the pictures don't do the property justice. It's much more beautiful and spacious than they anticipated!
