The space

This is a great place to land, rest and recuperate. It’s private and peaceful.

There's a fitness center & yoga classes in walking distance. From here you can explore all of South Bali. So rather than hopping around and staying in many areas, you can settle in, make yourselves at home, and do some day trips around Bali.

We have only just finished building this villa. It's our home when we are in Bali and available to rent when we are away. We will be doing a photo shoot soon. It’s listed at a discount soft opening price for the moment.

The bathrooms are tropical Bali style with plants, half open to the elements. The are completely private but the sun or rain can come inside the open part of the bathroom.

Guest interaction

The villa manager or housekeeper will meet you for checkin. After that we are available to help you by phone or message. The housekeeper comes to clean every second day or when you need.

Overview

Casa Sumba is off the tourist beaten track. It is in a local area but only 10 minutes (5km) ride to the surf beaches of Batu Belig, Canggu & Seminyak. There are many handicraft suppliers and furniture makers on these streets. Casa Sumba is cool because it's in between the best areas so you can easily explore! If you prefer to stay in the heart of a busy tourist hipster hotspot then look up our other villa Casa Zulu.

WEFITTNESS Bali is 8 minutes walk from the villa. It's a fitness centre with machines, cross fit, yoga, classes and daily boot camp.

There is a coffee shop on the corner within 2 mins walk. They do breakfast and serve good coffee & nice simple clean food and fresh juices all day. They have also some raw vegan gf options. ‘Teko Coffee’ Kesambi Kerobokan.

There’s a resort with a buffet breakfast, restaurant, lagoon & kids pool within 5 minutes walk ‘Grand Kesambi’. You’ll have to cross the street to go here.

There’s a grocery store over the street for supplies. There’s some good cheap local food nearby. A great local seafood restaurant.

We have several menu’s at the villa for cafès which deliver to the villa including Bali Buda. Otherwise go-jek is an awesome app (like uber eats but better) where you can order food from anywhere.


Getting around

Seminyak, Petitenget & Canggu are all easily accessible in 10 minutes by scooter or taxi. The beach is 5kms.

Day trips or half day trips can easily be done to Ubud, The waterfalls, Keramas, Jimberan, Nusa Dua, Sanur, Dreamland, Uluwatu. These locations are around 45 mins to 1 hour drive.
