This home was absolutely perfect for our large group! We had a large group staying together, and there was more than enough space for everyone. There were plenty of comfortable beds, lots of seating areas to relax, and great gathering spaces where everyone could spend time together. The dining areas easily accommodated our whole group, which made meals so enjoyable.The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything we needed, and the linens and bedding were fresh, comfortable, and high quality. The view of the lake was beautiful and made the entire stay feel peaceful and special.There was also so much to do for both adults and kids. The pool table, ping pong table, axe throwing, and foosball kept everyone entertained ā€” especially on a rainy day.Parking was easy, access to the interstate was convenient, and everything about the property was thoughtfully prepared for guests. It truly felt like the hosts had thought of everything.We had a fantastic stay and will absolutely try to book this property again in the future. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property and location. So nice to have space for large group. There were several of us who could not do the stairs to enjoy the dock area so was wonderful to be able to use the neighbor 's driveway to access the dock. Nice being so close to Trident Marina. Would definitely use this property again for family gatherings.

The house was very nice and perfect for a big family gathering. Everything was clean and fresh and the kitchen was very well stocked! Our large family group enjoyed our stay very much. And the hosts were very helpful

Spent the long 4th of July weekend here. Ricky was the best host. I had many questions leading up to check in and he was very responsive. The house is beautiful and well quipped! Location is great! The neighbor allowing us to use their drive way to get to the dock was a life saver and their fireworks show was lit! Highly recommend this house!

Annual Smith Lake Trip

First time staying at this home for our annual lake trip with friends and it was perfect for our group of 15! The check-in process was seemless and the house was equipped with everything we needed. Our kids loved the dock!! Highly recommend

Pefect spot to stay for a local family wedding!

The house and property were perfect for our trip down for a family wedding at The Barn Smith Lake. There were 25 of us and plenty of space to spread out if needed or to just hang out. As we left, everyone was already talking about coming back when it is warmer!

We had a family reunion Christmas gathering and The house was perfect for us all. Places for kids to play, teenagers had some room to escape and the adults had plenty of lounge space to enjoy themselves. Family Christmas Getaway

The property is wonderfully suited for family gatherings. The great room/kitchen area are fantastic for multiple groups spending time doing all kinds of things. Lots of places to sit and eat, play cards, have conversation, or watch TV. The basement play area is awesome with ping pong, arcade, pool table, and foosball to pass the time. Every space is built with purpose. It was cold so we were not really able to much around the lake but there was so much to do inside and on the decks that we didnā€™t need it. Just a beautiful place, fully equipped with all you need! Loved it so much!!

Growing up at Crane Hill, I watched as the Lake was built in the early 1960s. Some of my family owned land that is now 'lakefront property.' I worked on the family farm where we raised cows, and lots of chickens 'broilers.' I thought everyone got up at 4 AM to work before they went to elementary school!! I "retired" from farm life, at age 15 or so when we moved to Cullman, Alabama.

My wife and I have 5 grown children and we enjoy Smith Lake boating, skiing and just cruising around in the boat on the lake. The Smith Lake and Crane Hill area is good for relaxing in the laid back foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain and has over 500 miles of shoreline. Great for bass fishing although personally I enjoy just riding around in the boat and seeing the scenery. We are local business owners (insurance agency) who live in nearby Jasper, AL which is 30 minutes away on Hwy 69.

Centrally located in the Southeast. The best location on the lake just minutes off Interstate I-65 and located just across from the premier Marina on the Lake called Trident Marina. About 7.1 miles from I65, then turn on Cty Road 222. Then down Cty Rd 222 around 7 more miles to Magnolia Manor. Local Fun and adventurous family attractions like The Bankhead National Forest, Stony Lonesome OHV Park, a Natural Bridge, Historic Civil War Battlefields, plus much more. U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL 1 hour away. GOLFING just up the road toward Cullman, 15-20 minutes away. The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, a grand collection of championship courses that offer an equally grand test of golf. Ave Maria Grotto in nearby Cullman, AL that is known throughout the world as 'Jerusalem in Miniature,' which is a beautifully landscaped, four-acre nature park with Catholic statues and miniatures. Oktoberfest is a yearly festival celebrating Cullman's German Heritage and Cullman recently voted to go 'wet.' So now for the first time ever, the Cullman Oktoberfest has beer!

Lewis Smith Lake is the best fresh water lake in North Alabama. Full of Stripe and Large Mouth Bass and other great tasting fish! Great for family get togethers as everyone can drive in from nearby Interstate I-65. Several Bass Masters Classic Fishing Tournaments have relished being on Smith Lake in the past 15 years.
