The Piggery - Glamping Pod

Experience glamping at its very best with our luxurious pod which comfortably accommodates 4 people, heated for all year round use and ideal for a relaxing family staycation in this beautiful countryside location.

We offer the unique opportunity of sharing your space with our delightful alpacas, cheeky pigs, and sweet chickens and ducks, who delight in being fed by our guests. And during the months of May to September you can enjoy the shared heated swimming pool which is fully covered so a very handy option when it’s raining!

It’s the perfect getaway for those who love the great outdoors but also love their home comforts.

The Piggery’ is a beautiful contemporary styled pod for 4 people with a double bed and a set of bunk beds, fully insulated and heated to keep you cosy and warm no matter what the weather outside.

Within the pod you will also find a small table and chairs, Freeview TV, internet connection, electric sockets with USB connections, bedside flexilights, room heater and tea/coffee making facilities. All bed linen and towels are provided.

Outside you have your own picnic table and BBQ. Or you can move to the communal area where there is a firepit with wood provided, as well as tables and chairs within a ‘secret garden’ of silver birch trees.

And our luxurious shower and kitchen cabin will make you feel right at home, there are three spacious wet rooms, each with a shower, toilet, basin and heating. Hair dryers and an enviable array of toiletries are provided.

Alongside is a fully fitted kitchen with full size sink, cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and plenty of storage space, together with pots, pans and utensils for all your cooking needs. Also provided is a coolbox/bag for days out, kitchen towels, salt & pepper, spices, cooking oils, washing up liquid and full range of cleaning materials. And charming vintage crockery, cutlery and glassware to make your dining a real occasion.

The open-sided barn is available for your use during inclement weather or chillier nights and here you can dine or relax in a cosy vintage space or enjoy some games which include a ping-pong table, X-box, and toys for children of all ages.

A children’s playframe with swings and slide is available for under 10s and we are located in a safe, secure area fully fenced so children can explore safely.
