Our Ranch House offers, wild life abundances, Walker Creek view and access from the back deck. Well landscaped with fenced in side yard. Open terrain with views of Whitefish Mountain. We also offer horse pasture and stables if desired. The Ranch House is open floor plan with cathedral ceiling in living room, hard wood floors with rustic decor and full two car garage.

The house was perfect! The fenced yard for the dog and the deck were put to good use. On our walks the horses were a great visit for our golden.Scott was super responsive when we called for the access code (VRBO was supposed to send it to us) We also enjoyed the big screen tv during our down time. I would most definitely return.

Another Great Stay!

We love staying here. Scott, Francesca, and Tyler are awesome. This was our 3rd time staying here, and we will be back again. Perfect location and has great owners.

Rustic and secluded but still close to all the essentials .

We love being out in the country…. But not so far that you can’t get to the grocery store within 20 minutes. It was very quiet and relaxing, and we had great weather! We got to meet the host Mr. Scotty on our last night very sweet very accommodating and would definitely stay here again!

Had a terrible time checking in. Email info did not include door and couldn't reach owner until 10 minutes past checkin time. He did apologize and came right over and was very nice and apologized. If your email doesn't have a door code you won't be able to get in so start calling early.

Awesome place

This is an awesome location and the house layout is very open. Big bonus for having a fenced in area for dogs out the back door. The one minor issue was that there were a lot of lady bugs inside. I would 100% go back.

Great NW Montana Experience!

This rustic ranch house was the perfect location for a relaxed stay only a short drive to Glacier National Park, Whitefish, Columbia Falls and Kalispell. We enjoyed the leaf change and first snowfall on the peaks in GNP. Our fur babies enjoyed their visit as much as we did hiking trails in Flathead National Forest, watching the wildlife from the deck and fenced side yard. The house was very comfortable with everything you could need including the huge TV for watching football. The owner was the most gracious host. We would recommend this property for a great NW Montana experience!

Beautiful secluded house with a great hot tub and deck

We loved the house it was very open and spacious and the western themed decor was very nicely done. The deck an hot tub were awesome and very private. We enjoyed the hot tub each evening. My only issue is that I did not have any communication about the code for the house until I got there and found the owner. His voicemail was full so thankfully he was at the adjacent property. Once we had the code everything else went smoothly and it was a great place to stay.

Perfect Spot for Adventures

First Scott and his Goldens were so friendly! The house and surrounding property we great -- we could snowshoe and explore right off the deck. The house has all the amenities needed, big south facing windows that allowed plenty of sunshine and was perfect for my pup too - with a small fenced in area - but also with 10+ acres surrounding us for an early morning exploring. The location was perfect and such great proximity to Big Mtn, Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Kalispell and Flathead Lake area, as well the Whitefish Trails for snow-shoeing and fat biking. Having the garage was great too for getting my toys out of the elements and plenty of room for my truck too when snowing. Was an absolute great spot - could not recommend it more!

Home away from home

The setting of this property was gorgeous, and the location of this property was quiet, and comes with 2 horses grazing in a field in front of the house. The place felt like a home away from home, with the things you would need while you're away and was very welcoming, Check in was challenging because the code wasn't provided ahead of time and the owner was unreachable due to cell service upon arrival. Once the owner received our message, he sent the code and made sure everything was going alright with our stay. All in all, we had a fantastic week, and a lot of it was due to the beautiful setting of this property.

Great Stay, Great Host.

We really enjoyed our stay at Scotty’s ranch house. It was perfect for us, and our dog. The house was bright and comfortable, perfect for the 2 of us. The spa on the deck came in handy after our hikes, and the kitchen was suitable for us as well. We actually already booked our next stay. We really enjoyed the host, and the property.

location, location, location!!!

Very spacious ranch home in a peaceful setting with a great deck for coffee and viewing of beautiful Montana. Centrally located, amazingly, to Whitefish (10 min), Glacier (20 min), Kalispell (15 min). The BIG negative was the ton of big beetles that found their way into the house daily. Next to my pillow, wherever a light was on. Not just a few. A TON! G3et rid of the bugs and the place would be perfect!

Great place. Great location.

We loved this place. Pictures don't do it justice! The house has ole time ranch house decor, horses in the fields, seclusion; it truly felt like we were a part of the Montana old west culture. It was only 30 minutes from GNP. The fireplace and hot tub were great to have too.

Great location!

I really enjoyed my stay at this wonderful house. Lots of windows and a spacious living area make it very comfortable and relaxing to hang out at the property, while at the same time, it's conveniently located only a couple of miles from both Whitefish and Columbia Falls. The privacy of the property combined with its closeness to town is a great combination for enjoying what the area has to offer, while still "getting away from it all." I will stay here again when I'm in the area!

Fantastic location

Fantastic location. Secluded without being far from town. A little glitch getting in touch with the host as they were out of cell phone range when we arrived. VRBO said we should get the code from our host and our host said we should have gotten the code from VRBO? Not sure but a beautiful, quiet location and the place was clean. Would definitely stay again!

The Cabin in the Woods

This sweet gem encompasses everything you would expect from a Montana cabin. Deep in the trees, a private stream, birds chipping and a rustic home. The house is a little dated, but very clean and provides every amenity you could ever need. The hot tub was just the icing on the cake! This property is highly referred and in one of the most desirable areas in the Flathead County. A MUST STAY! The only issue that we had was connecting to the internet. Scott, the owner, worked diligently to restore accessibility (which he did).

Lovely location

We had a great stay. The kitchen is old but Scott gave us a toaster oven on request. A really nice quiet scenic spot with a nice host. We recommend!
