The Space:
Experience a piece of Southern Maryland history. Bancroft Manor was among the first homes along St Leonard's creek. Every square foot of this house was renovated in 2019 - but the unique Tidewater Maryland architecture remains.

The Manor resides on 3 secluded acres. Close to everything Southern Maryland has to offer, yet feels a million miles away.

The Garden Cottage has a private yard with gas grill and and it's own private entrance. There are no spaces (other than the 3 acres of property grounds) that are shared with other guests or the owners.

Your suite is appointed in absolute luxury! Not a detail has been missed in making this your new favorite get away spot.

The kitchen has a full fridge, electric range/oven and large single basin sink. As well as everything you need to prepare and enjoy a meal. The kitchen also has a microwave, keurig coffee maker and dishwasher.

You'll find a starter supply of coffee pods, sugar packets, toilet paper (3), and paper towels (1).

Your living room is appointed with a 32 inch smart TV. Login to your Netflix, Hulu or Prime TV account and watch your favorite movie or show.

WIFI is available.

Your bedroom has a comfortable plush queen bed with nightstands and a lamp as well as easy reach for wireless device charging.

The bathroom has a shower/tub combo, and a good sized single sink vanity. You'll also find premium shampoo, conditioner and body wash should you need it. This bathroom is equipped with all the luxuries of home - including the size.

Enjoy your evenings in the garden with a glass of wine. Grab some local meat/produce just up the road at The Chesapeake's Bounty and fire up the grill. Or take a 5 minute stroll just down the road for a drink and dinner on the water at Vera's Beach Club.

The Neighborhood:
While this property is not directly on the water, the water is all around us and our property has seasonal water views. You can take a 5 minute walk down the road to Vera's and be right on the water for lunch/dinner and water fun.

Whatever you're looking for in a relaxing get away - you'll find it here in Solomons/Lusby! Launch a kayak, stand up paddle board, ride a jet ski, take a hike...or bring a book and just relax and enjoy a picnic on the property.

Solomons boardwalk is a 10 minute drive down the road with the best seafood this area has to offer. Drive (or take an Uber if you want throw back a couple cocktails) to Solomons and enjoy the best sunset you've seen in a long time.

Getting Around:
Everything SOMD has to offer is within a 10 minute drive -
Solomon's Island Boardwalk and restaurants, Calvert Cliffs State Park beaches and hiking, Fishing, boating and marinas are all within a short drive.

Other Things to Note:
** Parking will be in the lower driveway on the side of the house. You will walk the gravel path along the side of the house and across the length of the back of the property to find the Garden Cottage. Please see pictures in the listing showing the walk. It's about 250 feet of gravel path from the parking area to the Cottage. **
