Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this beautiful home centrally-located in downtown Melbourne. The property has three bedrooms, two queen beds and two twin beds. There is also a pullout couch in the den area and full-size air mattress to accommodate additional guests. located only 10 minutes from Melbourne beach, 30 mins from cocoa beach, 4 minutes from Melbourne airport, 5 minutes from the mall and 2 minutes from a Publix grocery store. The yard is completely fenced in and features a hammock, fire pit and palm trees providing shade. The pool goes from 3ft to 7ft and life jackets are provided. There is a propane (propane not included) and charcoal grill available. Pets are allowed, there is a $50 fee per pet.

March visit

Terrific place to fit our needs for the week near FL Tech. The privacy and beauty of the trees surrounding the pool is fabulous. House had most of everything that we needed. We would definitely visit again.

Family Gathering

My overall experience at this home was very cozy and comfortable. I really enjoyed the layout and the pool. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. The bedrooms were spacious and everyone slept comfortably. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. I would definitely book this home again.

The property is exactly as described/pictured on the listing. The neighborhood is quiet but a good location to shopping and beaches. The property manager was quick with a response anytime we reached out. The pool and patio area was a great place to relax and my son enjoyed swimming!

Mostly perfect

Everything was great except the kitchen was short on utensils, no can opener. We were there for Thanksgiving so cooking was the big thing. Otherwise, the house was great! Close to everything.

We stayed here for over a month while my house was being renovated. Communication with the owners was wonderful. I had to stay an extra week and the owner was totally fine with it and he came out to fix the screen that was broken. It was comfortable and cool. We enjoyed sitting out back the most. There were some issues with pool cleanliness but informed the owner and the pool company was out a few days later. Overall, it was a good

Nice home

The host was amazing about responding very fast anytime I messaged with questions. The home was in a great neighborhood very quite. Beyond clean and never had one issue at all the entire week we stayed at this location. The pool was beyond the best asset the house had to offer the kids loved it. Would recommend to anyone and when we come back to the area we will definitely stay again. 5 stars . Nothing but positive and good things about the house and the host

Would stay here again!

Place was nice. Worked great for our family. Communication with the host was good. Only small issue we had was the wifi wasn't great for streaming and we just so happen to be trying to watch the first weekend of the march madness tournament. Again, that was a really small issue. We enjoyed everything else about the place.

Spring break 25

Close to the beach and stores. Everybody loved the pool even though it was cold. It was stated that there is fruit trees, but we could not find any fruit. Maybe it’s not the right time of season. I’m not sure. We wanted to grill, but there was no propane and I assume that would’ve been supplied. Other than that, we all loved it.will definitely book again next trip.

Family beach vacation

This house was better than we could’ve expected. The pics don’t do it justice. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The pool is amazingly clean and the screen keeps the critters away. Everyone enjoyed swimming each day. The kitchen was clean, updated and had most everything we needed to prepare simple meals. The keurig was a nice touch. The house is located close to shopping and beaches. The home owner was wonderful and very quick to respond to any questions I had. Our family thanks the owner for a wonderful place for our special gathering.

Economical Stay

Nice family retreat. The drawback of the property were the doors. Humidity made the front door difficult for entry, the wood would swell up and cause the lower door handle stick (reported to the property manager). The sliding doors were tough for entry/exit out to the pool through the bedroom. The pathway around the property caused wet feet to pick up sand and track into three season room into the auxiliary living room area. Working around those few items, overall great option for our stay needs.

Not the best

The place was beautiful. Just a few things that could’ve been better. The grill was not in working order. The pool was cold. We could not enjoy it coming from snow. The kids were looking forward to being able to swim. There was not enough toilet paper. There is not enough utensils. We had to keep re-washing in the middle of meals. Had to go buy batteries for the remote for the TV. Remake a trip to Florida every year we will not be staying at this house again.

Needs to attend to the pool and air conditioner

The pool had to be cleaned after guest had arrived and was not in use for several days. Air conditioner had to have the condenser cleaned out to work. All of this should have been resolved prior to guests arrival. We did get a $250.00 towards the rent for the inconvenience, but as we all know that does not make up for the time lost in a weeks stay.

Hello Susan, thank you for your review. The pool is professionally cleaned every Tuesday and was clean when your guest arrived and it only had to be cleaned during your stay once your guest allowed a dog in pool. Unfortunately, the pool was out of service for one day due to the pool tech shocking the water. The ac unit had to be repaired due to the extreme heat we are experiencing in Florida and we resolved the problem as soon as possible. I hope that the credit of $250 helped with your inconvenience. Thank you for being our guest and leaving the house clean. We really appreciate it!

Family 1 week stay

Pros… The house was large in size, generally clean, pool was great and very clean. Close to stores, restaurants, beaches. The owner was great, we had an issue with the internet due to a storm blowing out the router. The owner attempted everything in her power including switching internet companies to get it repaired in a timely manner. Cons… The kitchen had limited cooking items to use and the cabinets themselves seems dirty. The biggest issue were the geckos, they were everywhere including in the house. 10-15 on the pool cage at any given time and I opened a kitchen drawer to see one starting at me. We would hear the chirping at night in our rooms - the kids and my dog were completely creeped out. The house needs to be properly routinely sprayed to prevent this buggers from lingering around the house.

Great property for a family of 4 to 6 people

The property owner was very responsive upon booking and throughout our stay. Upon driving through the neighborhood and up to the house it is obvious that the surrounding neighborhood was built up somewhere around the 1960s but do not let that deter you. The house has modern upgrades both interior and exterior with just a few things still in need of upgrade but nothing major. Definitely worth the price and location. I'm sure we will return in the not so distant future.

Quarters

There were a lot of items that need fixed. For example, the dishwasher was not attached to the cabinet. I had to brace it with a piece of wood. When we arrived, there were no lids on either of the toilets. One of the light switches was not attached to the wall fixture. The propane bottle on the grill was empty and I had to get that filled. They had a lock box on the thermostat so you could not adjust the temperature in the house. And it got up to 78 to 79 during the day and took a long time to cool down at night. I have never seen that anywhere I have stayed before. I would not recommend this property to anyone. The host was responsive but things need to get fixed.

Convenient location!

Hello we are Quentin and Janee Walker and we are originally from Charlottesville Virginia. We left our small hometown and moved to Brevard county in 2014 to begin a new chapter in our lives and explore new opportunities in Florida. Quentin (35) is a master carpenter and owns a home renovation company. Janee (32) is a UCF graduate and owns a resource consulting business. We have 5 children (3 boys,2 girls) that we love dearly and devote most of our time and energy to. We have a deep appreciation for nature and enjoy exploring all the unique and interesting places (and restaurants!) that Florida has to offer!
