This 5+ bedroom home offers spectacular lake views and sunsets over Lake Champlain - minutes to everything by car or bike! Close to UVM and centrally located between Burlington, Shelburne and Charlotte, its Spear Street South Burlington location is perfect for alumni weekends, weddings and reunions with friends and family. The house offers bright rooms to gather, but is large enough to allow private office spaces to work and porches to relax with a good book.

Spear Street is minutes to popular wedding venues including Shelburne Farms and the Old Lantern Inn, a quick trip to Burlington breweries, and just a few miles to the lake. You can enjoy day trips to Stowe, explore the Lake Champlain Islands, take in all of Burlington area's shopping and dining or simply stay put enjoying this happy home.

Front and back stone patios with a wooden fire pit and barbecue grill offer everything you may need for stay at home evening activities. The front porch off of the master suite offers a gas fireplace for additional comfort on cool nights and a cozy ambiance while enjoying the many gorgeous sunsets over the lake. The backyard looks like a professional soccer field with a perfectly flat surface for playing kickball, soccer, lacrosse, flying kites and other fun family activities.

The spacious family, kitchen and dining area is absolutely beautiful for entertaining in and out of the house which provides an open flow from front to back patios.

Every bedroom has breathtaking views of the lake with three of the five bedrooms offering full private bathrooms. Two bedrooms share a hallway bathroom with the family room that converts into a bedroom with a comfy pull out couch. This is the "+" bedroom that could be called the 6th bedroom! Every bedroom has full linens, pillows and blankets plus Air Conditioning for your sleeping comfort

A large family hot tub is located off the family room overlooking the large private back yard for soaking your tired bones after a full day of activities. As a one level home, grandparents and those with sore knees will never have to navigate steep stairways in this house! You will absolutely love it with family and friends. The photographs and descriptions of the place are accurate and we found the property to be even better than the photos and descriptions. We enjoyed the spectacular views from every room. The open floor plan was perfect for our family and a gathering of cousins. The one level living was so nice for our 92 year old Mom and her walker. The 5 bedrooms were arranged perfectly for Mom, me, my spouse, and my siblings and their spouses. We used every bed plus the pull-out couch. The kitchen was a dream to work in and was very well appointed. The hot tub was a bonus added touch for relaxing. All in all our stay was very comfortable. We would definitely rent again the next time we are in the area.

First Visit to our UVM Freshman

The property is amazing. Great everything. Lots of different space for entertaining or just hanging out. Beautiful views and perfect location. Just far enough to get out into a nice quiet setting, but, literally, minutes from everything the Burlington area offers. We were 2 families visiting our respective students for the weekend with a lot of coming and going, as well as big dinners with other friends from the area. EVERYONE loved the property and the house.

Fantastic!

Our multi-generational family of 10 had a wonderful stay on Spear St! The view of Lake Champlain is gorgeous at sunset. We enjoyed the 5 bedrooms to spread out and played hours of board games in the open family room and large dining area. The house was well appointed with extra pillows, towels, and soaps and incredibly clean! Highly recommend this home if you are looking to spend a week in Burlington! Thank you Deb!

A great summer stay!

I traveled to Burlington for a week-long vacation with my family of five adults and two significant others. The house was a perfect setting with some great views of the lake. With most everything within a quick 10 - 15-minute drive, everyone was satisfied with the abundance of activities in the area. The house and the Burlington, VT, area did not disappoint! And when we were unable to locate the bean bags for the available cornhole set, the host immediately arranged for overnight delivery of a replacement set even though we made it clear that was unnecessary. We were impressed.

A weekend in Vermont

I was very pleased with this lovely home. It is very spacious with a great floor plan and fantastic views towards Lake Champlain. For a family or a group of friends it is the perfect get away, relax and enjoy life place to be.

This home is everything we could have hoped for and more. The house is spacious, comfortable, extremely well stocked, and sits on a beautiful piece of land. The view of the lake is breathtaking. We celebrated our daughter's graduation and couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting. We are already talking about when we can go back.

Wonderful family getaway

We loved this house!! The yard was huge and the views were stunning. We had a lot of space to spread out. From grandparents to young kids, it worked for everyone. Convenient location, super quiet and a quick drive to downtown Burlington. We would stay here again!

Gorgeous house with stunning lake view

This is a fantastic house, well laid out, with lots of space, minutes from downtown Burlington. It is easy to get to and fully loaded. It’s also a little bit atypical in that the house has definitely been lived in by a family before, so the furnishings and layout reflect this. It’s not just a rental property; it’s a true home. Absolutely gorgeous.

College Guys Reunion Trip

7 of us guys that graduated in 1990 from Birmingham-Southern College get together every year the week following Labor Day. We chose Burlington this year for the location. The house was spacious, great views of Lake Champlain, centrally located near downtown and just overall, great and just like the pictures. I would highly recommend.

Lovely home

Best house EVER!

I can't say enough good things about this house and the hosts. The layout is amazing and was perfect for our family of grandparents, adult children and young grandchildren. It is all on one floor with the heart of the house being a large open kitchen, dining and family room. Every bedroom has a view of the lake! Really! The hosts went out of their way to have a highchair available for our youngest. And the location was perfect when we were in town for a family wedding. from Mary & Rick

Beautiful spot and convenient location

The place was fantastic and everything we were looking for and then some. We comfortably slept 11 people over 2 nights. The hot tub got plenty of use. the location is so close to lots of things to do and places to see in Burlington. We were all extremely happy with our stay.

Wedding weekend extravaganza

We were at the house the week before the wedding and had many people in and out. The view from the property is stunning- and the house is so accommodating with 5 bedrooms and lots of room. Deb was so responsive with any hitch and she supplied me with lots of ideas for venues and restaurants before we came. This is a family home, with all the trimmings. You will feel welcome there! It is worth every penny- it was prefect !

Beautiful house!

The house was perfect for my extended family to spend time together. The owners were attentive and thought of everything to make our stay fantastic. The house was beautiful and clean. Family vacation

We loved this house. The home had a wonderful view of Lake Champlain and the mountains. Convenient to a beach and breweries and only a short drive to downtown Burlington and Shelbourne. We had a minor glitch with an appliance and the hosts handled it immediately. They also went out of their way to supply a crib for a young one. Communication was excellent. The house had everything we needed. Sunsets were lovely sitting around the fire ring. I highly recommend this house Thanks to Deb and Andrew.

Great location and a perfect family gathering home.

We had a wonderful week at this home. The adult kids enjoyed all of the rooms, the yard and outdoor actives. Excellent communication with the owners. We will be back!
