Other things to note
Bring swimsuit, sunscreen, soccer or football, fishing poles and bait. If you got a boat then bring it. Beaverdam Marina on Lake Russell is just across the street. There really isn't better fishing anywhere.

Don't forget to bring some firewood for fire pit and a good book.
