We stayed here while attending OSU homecoming activities. It was easy to get to and very comfortable. We would stay here again!

great value for cost -- enough snacks and stuff for a week.

Not high end but comfortable, economical and convenient with interesting art. Would definitely stay there again.

Great weekend stay

Our group had a great stay! It's an older home, like most in Guthrie, but the updates and upgrades that have been made are really nice. Beds were comfortable and all of our needs were met with the items supplied in the house. The personal snacks and drinks were a great touch.

Enjoyed my stay!

This is one of the most pleasant vacation rentals that I’ve ever been in. Cynthia is a fantastic post and I can highly recommend this to anyone who visits Guthrie. My wife and I have a vacation rental and it’s always nice to see someone who puts so much energy into their property.

In town for our daughters wedding

We booked the house for the weekend of our daughter’s wedding and from the beginning it was so easy and they were so accommodating. Once we got there the house was exactly like it was represented if not better. It was everything we needed for our stay and I will for sure stay there again when visiting my hometown for any upcoming events!

Stillwater getaway

Cynthia was the best host! We had everything we needed and the house was perfect! Our family came to visit my daughter and go to the OSU game and Stillwater was full and we lucked out in Guthrie. We would definitely stay again!

At home comfort

Very comfortable cozy home. It was decorated very nicely. Cynthia left us drinks and snacks and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Enjoyed sitting on the porch watching neihborhood kitties. Would go back again.

Guthrie Home Away From Home

4 nights and days of peace and happiness. The host was very hospitable and communicated promptly on all occasions. Very nice, well kept house. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay north of Oklahoma City.

Perfect Weekend

My daughter-in-law and I needed a refreshing girl’s weekend away to refresh ourselves and wow, everything about our weekend couldn’t have been better. The house was beautiful, adorable, comfortable, cozy and just a refreshing place to be! When we walked in the atmosphere was so soothing and inviting. We could go out for a meal or stay in and whip a little something up in the kitchen, and downtown is just around the corner. I would 100% recommend this place!

Fabulous and charming

My sister and I stayed 3 nights. The house is lovely, as are the furnishings and decor. The Christmas decorations were perfect. The outdoor Holiday lighting was a nice touch. Communications were timely. And everything, and I do mean everything, was supplied. Spices, coffees, all bathroom products. Bring your toothbrush and stay here. You will not be sorry.

Game weekend stay

We stayed at this property for an OSU game weekend with friends. Quiet neighborhood and you can walk to downtown. Cute front porch with friendly cats to pet. Most of the home has been remodeled. Nice kitchen with coffee bar and snacks upon arrival. My only request would be more comfortable beds. Owner was quick to respond to our needs. Good price for the weekend.

Quaint and Quiet and Perfect!

This place is absolutely beautiful! Every room is decorated perfectly! I looked around every room and thought I wish I had that chair or that piece in my house!! The style makes you feel like you’re not even in a house in a town but in a cottage nestled in some enchanted woods! We could sit on the front porch for hours!! It has two living areas to relax. One of them has the most comfortable couch that will comatose you! I fell asleep on it within 10 minutes because I was so relaxed! The kitchen is updated and just beautiful! I can’t even say enough about this place! The beds are sooooo comfortable! I have a hard time sleeping away from home. Not here. I slept like a rock!! We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay and the immediate accommodations made by the owners. Top notch!!! We recommend this place with 100 stars!! You won’t want to choose another place!!

Cute house in Guthrie

Cute little 3 bedroom/1 bath house in Guthrie, OK. Can walk to town in 10 to 15 minutes. Neighborhood is friendly and quiet. Host does a really good job of providing some drinks and necessities (toothpaste, shampoo, face wipes) in bath. Only improvement could be better cleaning. House was dusty and there are many cats on property. I believe the cats are sometimes let in home, so that was an issue for 2 of my family members with allergies. I have stayed here twice with no other problems.

Clean and Welcoming Stay

First, let me say the house was CLEAN, far cleaner than most places I’ve rented! Upon entering the kitchen, we found sweet treats and a note left for us by our host. The bedrooms had comfy beds with plenty of blankets and fluffy pillows. All of the living spaces had abundant open spaces. The host obviously has an eye for detail and a heart of hospitality. While I can’t say enough about the inside of the house, it is obvious the homeowner is still working on the outside of the house. The lawn needed a good mow, the seating area in the listing pictures wasn’t usable, and there was a ladder directly outside a bedroom window. These things seemed incongruous with the state inside the house. During our stay, our contact let us know that she needed to stay in the basement unit because the A/C was out where she had planned to be. True to her word, we heard very little of her. I’d suggest that the listing add some details. The parking is street parking. There are added window units in each bedroom to boost the cool in case the A/C struggles to keep up. (Let’s be honest, it’s been a HOT summer in Oklahoma.) There is a basement unit that the owner can access which also opens into the kitchen, made me wonder if the homeowner lived there. I would recommend this clean and inviting home for an overnight stop!

Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our stay in Guthrie. The house was cute, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. We enjoyed walking downtown and visiting the shops. Overall a pleasant weekend.
