Bearfoot Lodge is a spacious 2,500 square feet 5 bedroom/4 bath cabin in a desirable area of the Smoky Mountains just 5 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge and a 12 mile scenic drive to historic Gatlinburg. No mountain roads required to get to this cleverly located resort with outdoor community pool access for our guests. Long covered porches with a private hot tub and separate game room make this a perfect retreat for families, friends, and couples. And did we mention the sunset mountain views?

The cabin is most definitely centrally located. We had plans for a day at Dollywood, then a day in Pigeon Forge. A few minor things communicated with the host who responded quickly.

We had a great stay! The house was roomy enough for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Beautiful view from the porches, very clean and great communication. The house is close to all the attractions yet far enough for peaceful nights. Would definitely stay again.

Family fun time

We stayed in a lovely 5 bedroom, 3 bath cabin for 5 nights with our daughter and 5 of our grandchildren, aged 6,7,8,14,&18ā€¦.so we certainly appreciated the extra room. The bottom floor had a bunk room with a full-size bunk bed and another bedroom with a queen bed. The main floor has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a king bed. The top floor has a bedroom with king bed. Each floor has its own bathroom. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are on the main floor and spacious enough for the entire family. There is also a deck with a hot tub off the main floor. The bottom floor also has an outdoor sitting are that is quite nice and secluded. We appreciated the slats at the end of the deck which increase the privacy on the deck. I also appreciated the quality of the cookware provided. That is not usually the case in cabins in the area. Since we cooked some of our meals, that was definitely a pleasant surprise. I can recommend this cabin for a family stay in Pigeon Forge!

Family vacation at great Smoky Mountains National Park

It was a great place to stay for a family vacation at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is located close to the park, it had everything we needed. The owner answered any questions we had immediately. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

This property is located just out of Pigeon Forge, great location and had the prettiest view! We loved our stay. There were 7 adults and it accommodated us very well. There is a store just a few blocks away and the was nice for items we needed when we first got to town. Pool was closed the first couple of days so we didnā€™t get the opportunity to use it. But the deck right off the main living area was nice. Only issue was none of the windows had screens so we couldnā€™t open windows without letting in the bugs.

Nice cabin

Great cabin in a great location. Cabin was clean and met all expectations. Convention to everything. Quiet area. I would only make a few suggestions, none of which would cause me to not rent this cabin again. The upstairs bed needs a light quilt on bedspread instead of the heavy comforter, the furniture is comfortable but sets low to the ground making it a little hard for us older people to get up from and the pool table needs leveling, a little love and new balls. Minor things that did not take away from the cabin.

Good Option for Busy Families

We had not been to Pigeon Forge in awhile and we enjoyed the location of this property, as it was only 10-15 minutes from most of the activities we had planned for our trip. The cabin is decorated nicely and there was plenty of space for our family and my parents. It has a beautiful view of pastures and the mountains in the distance, which was nice.This property is great if you are wanting a great "landing" place, wanting to be out a lot doing activities. Due to the cabins in this community being so close together, there is the opportunity for this to be great for groups traveling together who need multiple houses. It is a log cabin, so there is little insulation, so you can hear everything outside. There is a road below, trash trucks at 5am each morning, and you can hear other families nearby in other cabins. This isn't a huge deal if you are there to be out and about, but if you are looking for solitude and quiet, it might be better to find something a little more secluded. We did have several issues during our stay, and the host offered to have maintenance come for what could be fixed, but we chose to work around it. The host was very quick to communicate and has assured us after our visit that all of the issues are in the process of being corrected. The best features of this cabin are the layout, views and close access to activities and restaurants. I'm hopeful the issues are going to be resolved for future guests as this property has great potential!

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed the cabin, and had a restful time with our family. The cabin is in a neighborhood of other cabins located fairly close to one another. It is not as private or secluded as we would have wished. It is close to Dollywood about 15 minutes and the strip in Pigeon Forge. The communication with the property manager is excellent. The ice maker and water dispenser from the refrigerator did not work, the microwave also gave an error. But otherwise the bedrooms, living area are all really nice. The pictures of the cabin are exactly what is in the cabin.

Beautiful cabin just minutes from Pigeon Forge

We rented the cabin for our 25th wedding anniversary, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The cabin was immaculate and well-maintained. Its prime location just minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg made it ideal for our getaway. The property manager was friendly and helpful, which added to the ease of our stay. We are definitely planning to return on our next visit!

We did a family and friends trip and spent one day in Gatlinburg and were going to spend one day at the Island but the home had so many amenities and was so beautiful we decided to just stay in. Would absolutely recommend.
