This is a Carver 30' x 10ā€™ yacht with a spacious layout, which include a cozy cabin with a full bed that accommodates 2 guests comfortably, a salon with a galley, and dinette that turns into a bed, and also a sofa bed, all climatized with marine-grade ac. in addition, a bathroom with electric toilet and stand up shower. on the other hand, there's an upper deck with a bimini top where guests can appreciate the city skyline and sunsets in the dock and share a drink or a meal. Also, the bow of the boat can be used to take a sunbathe and get tanned. We conveniently provide sun pads and kayaks for guests to enjoy. The boat is going to be stationary at a dock, which is a mile away from the beach to the right, and a mile away from the famous "Las Olas Blvd." to the left. We also provide beach cruising bikes for guests to move around if needed. The area is full of daytime activities, and nightlife to ensure you have a wonderful experience and memories. It is important to notice that this is not a party boat; in fact, this is a quiet neighborhood where loudness is not allowed to respect neighbors from houses and boats around, like you would do in your own residence. This doesn't mean that music is not allowed, actually, the boat is equipped with a stereo that has indoor and outdoor speakers, just be mindful that is not meant for parties.
In addition, the experience is designed for couples, if one more person needs to be added, it can be done, but only at traveler's risk.
Consider this like camping in the water, but with ac, power, hot water, wifi, and tv, among other perks for entertaining, like kayaks, and bikes. It is worth noticing that the dock is located in a prime location, meaning that is at walking distance from famous beach, and blvd. Called "las olas"

The boat and amenities did not match what was in the pictures. There was a blue tarp covering the top of the boat. When I arrived, the boat was stuffy and had no air conditioning turned on, so the interior stunk from the toilet. When I asked for the wifi info/password, I was told a previous renter had broken the unit and that it was no longer available. This was not communicated at time of booking. I was told that there would be a bike available for use. These also did not match the posting picture - the bikes available were old and rusted - the "usable" one [that did not have flat tires] had a busted seat and no back brakes.

Perfect spot to relax !

We wanted a place for one night away from the chaos and big hotels. What we found was a perfect gem. It has charm and all the necessities ( even candy and chips!! ) . It has a nice view , pool and kayaks available. Javiar , the host, was so easy to communicate with. He sent pictures to help us and allowed us late checkout. We will be back!! It was an overall wonderful experience!!

Delayed maintenance.

Small and cramped, but we expected that. However, there are several maintenance issues that need to be addressed. The stool didn't flush properly so the boat really smells like a combination of gasoline and sewage. The owner asked us not to put toilet paper down the stool and to flush it with a gallon jug of water -- okay when you're camping but not when you're paying more than you would for a decent hotel in the area. Shower just dribbles and never did get very warm. Breaker to the AC kept tripping so we had to keep turning it back on. It rained and the roof leaked on our bed while we were sleeping. Tried to move to the futon/couch (very small) but the window frame leaked in on us there. Had to use towels to stop rain water from coming in. Dock area is a mess. The advertised bicycles were inoperable. Never did find the pool or kayaks. Seems like a nice couple but if you're going to be in this business, you need to keep your rental up.

Good Experience...Once

I booked this boat as soon as it was brought to my attention. Seemed like an interesting experience rather than the usual hotel. Overall it was worth doing. A few notes: The owner is wonderful and very responsive to anything you needed. The nearby area is pretty run down- pool condemned by the city and rather junkie area. Not a place you lay out in the afternoon. The bathroom experience is "interesting." I'm pretty tall and when I raised the shower to my head (the bathroom faucet lifts out) there was nothing but a meager trickle. Also, using the toilet is an adventure in patience. The directions on the wall say not to flush toilet paper. Mmm. On the positive side, we enjoyed kayaking in the morning and having coffee on the fly deck. The bed was better than expected, and the boat was extremely clean. Plus the walk to the beach was manageable. If you want something different and can deal with the weak restroom experience than this is a place worth booking. I am glad we did it, though I wouldn't book it again. I wanted 3.5 stars, but decided to round up.

An outstanding and unique place to stay in Fort Lauderdale

We stayed for 2 nights before boarding a cruise. Was a great and amazingly different experience. The boat is ideal for smaller parties. Was perfect for my wife and myself. The location is ideal - a 30 min walk to either great restaurants and shopping on Los Olas Boulevard or the beach. Javier, the host. is amazing. He prepared us really well with all info needed before we arrived and responded immediately to any questions we had. The boat ia a little rustic but this made for a unique and very cool experience. Would definitely stay there again

The boat was nice. Had issue with A/C tripping the breaker. Couldn't be away very long on the chance it would trip and it would get very hot for our dog. The fridge went out the second 2 day, had to buy ice to keep our food from going bad. Pool was nice and the folks around the area are very friendly.

Suggestions: paper towels or napkins. Spoons and knives, not just forks. Maybe some dish detergent, not just a sponge. A little disappointed that the TV antenna caused the shows to go in and out. Just turned it off.

Hands Down The Best Get Away!!

We arrived early the day of rental 8am . We were told it was absolutely No Problem in accommodating our needs. The place was very spacious the dock was pleasing and very homey all together . MIKE our neighbor was very kind in letting use the grill area he had setup. The day of departure my fight was cancelled to next morning. My host reached out and allowed us to stay the day no rush to check out.. we were so clise to everything . Great restaurants ,entertainment .Los Olas 5 min away. Everything you could want was provided. I erall id give this little hidaway a solid 10!!!

Don't do it.

The AC breaker popped twice in the first 12 hours. The circuit is overloaded or otherwise insufficient for the draw. We left after the first night. This boat is unsafe in our opinion. The owner was notified at 8am in the morning that we had left the premises. After that, there was no contact from him at all. He was only a good host when there were no issues. We own boats and the bathroom odor was offensive. There's much more, but most could have been overlooked. Safety cannot. We paid an additional $330.00 to stay elsewhere for the next two nights and the host refused to compromise on the stay. Stay away from this one unless you want to take your chances with an electrical fire on a boat or enjoy eau de toilet!

Unique Experience & Wonderful Host

We had a layover in Fort Lauderdale before heading to our final destination so we were looking for a fun & unique experience to maximize our time. The location was perfect walking distance to the main strip for shopping and food. The boat was very clean, comfortable and spacious for two. Host was extremely helpful, quick with communication and went above & beyond to ensure we were happy with our stay. We enjoyed our stay so much, we are interested in planning a trip back to Fort Lauderdale as our main destination.

JUST DO IT! Bucket list experience :)

This was the best hosted experience I've had in 6+ years using services like this -- THANK YOU JAVIER! My boyfriend and I had the best 4 day getaway, paradise for us living in the Ohio cold! The experience was so novel and whimsy, we were so glad we did this over a hotel or house rental. Hidden perks like a hatch in the bedroom that you can lift for a beautiful view of the moon added a nice romantic touch. AND the privacy and convenience to be able to wake up and immediately be out in the sun in our bathing suits, eating breakfast on the top deck (and play music with no worries - only super friendly neighbors doing the same)... awesome! The kayaks honestly made our trip. Both agreed that was one of the most peaceful and gorgeous floats we've had thanks to the awesome isle this is located in. The bikes were also a huge perk and helped us get around / sight-see without racking tons in rideshare expense (plus Ft Lauderdale has a 'Circut' service for free, look into that visitors!) As far as internal features, the AC was KICKIN, water was warm, and kitchen appliances reliable and able to do everything we needed. We had zero issues other than some spotty wifi, but thats to be expected on vacation + gives the secret blessing of presence & connection > staring at a screen :) we pulled up some downloaded movies on my laptop, no big. Overall this unique stay encouraged us out of our comfort zone and got us more outdoors/active than a typical beach vacation, which we LOVED. These unique memories will last a lifetime! Ahead of checkin, Javier provided ample instruction, detail, and photos to make my arrival as smooth as possible. He even did a few things to be extra courteous due to our night time arrival. Throughout, he was there every step of the way; providing recommendations for local food, drinks, and experiences. Very responsive and helpful, he went above and beyond -- without the micro-managing I've experienced with some high-rated hosts. He had trust and ease toward us, allowing us to relax and have the best time ever. Thanks for making this such an easy and forever memorable trip!

Did not stay. The yatch was in such a scary Ace it stunk, with trash around and decrepit boats

Never stayed, we ran owner did give half of our money back but trying for full refund. Owners pictures were deceiving and reviews had to be false. You could ot walk on docks all garbage of others and I would have never slept in the smell. Neighbor around there said we probably would get furry visitors during the night.

This was the first time my husband and I stayed on a boat. We were looking for a quick getaway from the crazy life we live (and the Boston February cold!) We were very comfortable as we stepped way out of our comfort zone! We had everything we needed. Javier was a great host. Responded very quickly to every request from a couple of land lubbers. So much nicer and more personal than a hotel. It was a fun relaxing adventure!

Javier was really easy to communicate with. He showed us where everything was, including the two kayaks. The place was nice and clean when we arrived. The only thing that was not working was the water heater. We took showers and the water heater kept turning off. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay there!

We own a catering business and a food truck and recently purchased this boat as entertainment for the whole family, but soon realized that we could use it as a vacation rental to offset the cost of having a boat in such a prime spot. We provide a comfortable place to stay quiet and away from the daily life routine, and at the same time close to the action of famous "las Olas Blvd." and the good vibes of the beautiful Fort Lauderdale beach. Close to the airport, Art galleries, restaurants, and bars. we also provide kayaks to ride along the Intracoastal and the houses of the riches, and also, bicycles to move around like locals, and this is just the beginning; we are planning to add more entertainment in the future to make your stay more pleasant.
