This vacation rental is located near Millau—a 12-minute drive away—in the Gorges du Tarn, and 5 km from Peyre, a village listed among the “Most Beautiful Villages of France,” situated beneath the Millau Viaduct. The house can comfortably accommodate 2–4 people (65 m²) and has just been completely rebuilt from scratch. It is located 100 m from the Tarn beach. A playground and a pétanque court are located across from the property. The house is a duplex: -Ground floor: a garage with space to store mountain bikes or e-bikes, complete with a power outlet. -On the first floor: a 40 m² open-concept living room and kitchen equipped with a dining area, including a dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, induction cooktop, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and all necessary kitchen utensils. The bathroom features a toilet and walk-in shower. In the living room: a 160×200 cm sofa bed and a large flat-screen TV. -On the second floor: a 25 m² bedroom with a 160×200 cm bed and a walk-in closet. Outside: a patio terrace with a dining area overlooking a section of the old, partially demolished walls left exposed.
Parking is free throughout the village, or a locked garage is available beneath the apartment. A community-run grocery store is also available in the village. The village of Compregnac is a typical village of the Grands Causse region, with its small stone houses built from Causse stone; it is also home to the headquarters of the Aveyron truffle industry. Located downstream from the Gorges du Tarn, 12 km from Millau and 5 km from the village of Peyre. Several activities are available in the area: swimming on the banks of the Tarn at its beach, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, paragliding at La Pouncho with its breathtaking views, canoeing and paddleboarding, rafting down the Tarn with the Viaduc boatmen, rail bike rides, bungee jumping, via ferrata, or hiking and exploring the ancient shepherd’s houses of the Causse—known as “les Cazelles”—with their dinosaur footprints. Several nearby attractions can be visited during your stay: the village of Peyre (designated a “Village of French Heritage” [PBVF]), Roquefort, the Maison de la Truffe, the town of Millau, Aven Armard, the Templar village, Micropolis, and more.
