Margate a Great Location

Property was as described. Plenty of room for family and alone time. Pool was clean and a refreshing amenity. Kitchen offered much if that's what you wanted....but the location was a great springboard into some great restaurants as well as 20 minutes from the beach....that also offered great dining.

Quick family trip

Overall the house was beautiful, in a good neighborhood, and clean. The checkin and checkout process was very easy. There was not a list of "chores" we were responsible for staying or checkout, which is very nice. The owner answered in a timely manner when we had questions.

Daughter's 19th Birthday Social

The property was very nice and clean. There was plenty of space and the house had up-to-date furniture. The pool was clean and the outside patio was a perfect addition. The host was easy to contact and responded instantly. Everything was nice. I would rent this property again.

Fort Lauderdale

Travelled with 7 other family members - 2 nights before leaving in a cruise - although the home had numerous TVs - none of the remotes were visible - the projector screen tv - a cool feature was non-functioning. Bedding was found wet in the dryer after a long day of travelling - cleanliness not the greatest - found someone else’s skimpy shorts in one of the bedrooms - would not stay again.

Let down

We were let down from Vrbo as a company and the Owner. I’ll keep it short because *BED BUGS was an issue. 1. House wasn’t clean 2. Pictures are outdated and the house is in disrepair. 3. Breaker trips a lot so no hot water 4. Bed bugs (North facing room by the pool) 5. Vrbo policies ultimately won’t issue you a refund and bases it solely on the owner to issue Refunds with no investigation into the Rental. Never again..

Beautiful property needs some TLC

The home was beautiful with lots of space for my family. I hosted Thanksgiving Day dinner for about 15 people and there was space for everyone to spread out without feeling over crowded. The TVs worked fine as well as the other appliances inside the home. The overall 3 star rating is due to the bug problem and lack of cleanliness. On the 1st night, there was a huge cockroach in the living room under the projection screen and another in bathtub. There were also several small bugs (I couldn’t identify what type of bugs they were) all over the house and even found one in the bed in the master bedroom. Clearly, the house needs to be exterminated. There was even a smaller roach found in the kitchen on Thanksgiving day. The house was not very clean either. My family and I had to wipe down the kitchen countertops and sweep the floor before we could set up dinner. Finally, there were no washcloths found in the home. For me this was not a huge issue because I don’t use other people’s towels, however some of my family members needed them. We were able to clean enough and kill bugs enough to make memories and get great pics but I would not stay at this location again.

Graduation

We were there for my daughter’s graduation from FAU. The place was perfect except for the cleanliness of some of the rooms. The house cleaners do not take their jobs seriously & it reflects bad on the owners. The only other complaint is the big screen tv in the family room doesn’t work but there was a tv on the patio they made up for it. The owner always answered my texts within a few minutes. He was very sorry for the inconvenience of the how the cleaners left the place. I own a cleaning business & if my staff left any house in this condition they would be fired. He wanted to send cleaners over but I didn’t want to be inconvenienced of strangers in our way

Not too satisfied

I rented this house mainly because of the pool. The house was very nice with high top electronics and furnishings . Does need some TLC and better cleaning work. I left it cleaner than what I got it because of my children staying there. There are two rooms ceiling fans that were not working. The AC in one room not as good. The shower handle in the master bedroom bathroom very hard to open and the other bathroom could never get the water cold it was always hot. Two days of being there my son got an allergic reaction from the pool and had to take him to Urgent Care come to find out that the pools PH was very low as per the person in charge of cleaning the pool. It was always dirty and yes it's an open pool with no netting but not safe to use. I was not able to access the pool the rest of my stay for my families safety and as per MD instructions.

Not quite satisfied

This is a beautiful home. When I arrived looked just like the picture soon we began to s e things dirty, not working, just here there so I took pictures to property manager. He sent a cleaning lady who tried to charge me extra and didn’t wipe anything and said it’s not her fault cause they should hire her after each guest instead of once a month. Instantly the thought of dirty sheets made me sick . The dishwasher was giving sewage smell she put Clorox in the water and placed the whole rack on the counter. The pool my son had to clean and unclog so he could go swimming. But in spite of this we entertain the space is perfect plenty of seating it was an unforgettable vacation. This home was gorgeous

Neighbors from hell

Up until the day of my arrival everything was good. I had a party there & a few hours into the party the cops come because 3 of the neighbors called. The police threatened to ticket everyone if we did move our cars. Mind you no one was blocking anyones driveway. Most of our guest either left or had to park 2 miles down the street & Uber or we shuttled them back & forth. Plus it started raining. It turned out to be a big mess. The owner never replied to my message about the situation

My weekend getaway

My plan was to BBQ for family and friends. Unfortunately we had issues with the grill, not working, the stovetop and oven working off and on; cooking process delayed, and the refrigerator wasn't cooling properly. A bit disappointed as far as cooking wise goes and refrigeration.
