The condo had a great layout, was spacious for our family, and the location was convenient. Unfortunately, several issues throughout our stay took away from what could have been a much better experience.
After a long day of travel, we arrived to find that our entry code didn't work, which made check-in unnecessarily stressful. We also had a smoke detector that beeped continuously, and it took approximately 45 minutes for someone to come and resolve the issue.
The primary ensuite shower drain still contained hair from a previous guest, suggesting it hadn't been cleaned as thoroughly as expected.
One thing future guests should be aware of is that someone enters the property daily to service the hot tub. This may have been outlined in the rental agreement, and I understand why it's necessary, but it wasn't something we had paid much attention to before booking. While it may not bother everyone, it wasn't our preference and did impact our sense of privacy.
The bedding was also extremely warm for the summer months, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. We would also have appreciated blackout blinds, particularly for families with young children, as the bedrooms became very bright early in the morning.
Overall, the condo itself has a lot of potential with a functional layout, but the combination of the check-in issues, maintenance delays, cleanliness concerns, and other inconveniences meant our stay didn't quite meet our expectations. With a few improvements, this could be a much stronger rental.
