Located at the gates of Calvados, 15 minutes from Lisieux, you will enjoy proximity to the Normandy beaches (Deauville, Cabourg, Port d'Honfleur 45 minutes away) and many tourist places to visit in the 15 kilometers around: Lisieux and its Basilica, the fabulous Zoo of Cerza, the cider and Calvados distilleries (Père Magloire, Boulard...), the Château de Beaumesnil, the Museum of Fine Arts of Bernay... A multitude of activities are offered nearby: cinema, go-karting, bowling, theater, ... 1h20 from Paris, La Chaumière will quickly become your new pied-à-terre for your family holidays and your weekends with friends.

The Bedrooms:
Unlike most thatched cottages, here each room has its own independent access, thanks to the two staircases present in the house. There are no rooms that can be crossed, but communicating if necessary.
- Landing room, known as a sleeping area, with double bed and chests of drawers (for privacy the room can be closed with a blackout curtain)
- Master suite with its double bed, and its en-suite bathroom (shower and toilet)
- 2 other bedrooms each with a double bed
Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made on arrival. Only towels for the pool are not provided.

// THE POOL
The 4x8 swimming pool at a progressive depth ranging from 1m20 to 1m50. Remember to equip the little ones with armbands and buoys accordingly.
The swimming pool is covered by a sliding shelter to enjoy the sunny days and even in rainy weather. The pool is not heated but easily reaches 26°C in summer.

A large garden surrounded by trees, fully enclosed. Outdoor games available (ping pong table, rackets, balls,...) for sunny days.
For nature lovers, you can see the sheep grazing in the meadow next door.

The property is placed under video surveillance, which is deactivated on your arrival to guarantee your perfect privacy.

The cleaning package includes the cleaning of the house and its annexes, linen, beds made.
Please ensure, before your departure, to wash and put away the used dishes and take your rubbish out in the bins at your disposal located near the entrance gate.


// RESTAURANTS & SHOPS
Less than 5 minutes drive away, you will find the village of Thiberville with Bakery, grocery store, delicatessen, butcher, wine cellar, restaurants, and breweries as well as a pharmacy and a Carrefour Market. Supermarkets, the train station and other types of shops are located in Bernay, a small tourist town located 10 minutes away by car.
