"BIANCA & SEAVIEW BEACH"- apartment with fantastic sea views from the balcony, from the living room and one of the bedrooms. The beach is within walking distance. Fully equipped kitchen. 3 bedrooms, satellite TV international channels, Wifi-Internet (free), Public free parking in front of the building. 4th floor, no lift !
Have breakfast on the balcony during the magnificent sunrise over the horizon of the Mediterranean, before soaking up the sun on the beach or take a trip to Barcelona Center.
Ideal location to combine relaxing beach and cultural city trips to Barcelona (= Beach & City). After an eventful day, you can expect a friendly and air-conditioned apartment (AC in the living room and the main bedroom). Relax before you plunge into the famous nightlife of Barcelona.
'MONTGAT', originally a fishing village, is a town at the gates of Barcelona's and very quiet. Stroll on the beach or at the park promenade that is within easy walking distance. To the local train station its only a 7-minutes-walk !
Distances: 10 km to the 'Plaza de Glorias' and 12 km to the Cathedral 'La Sagrada Familia'.
Directly on the apartment you will find all sorts of shops, bars, restaurants, bakery, supermarket, hairdresser shop, children's playground, basketball court.
Tennis and paddle courts within a 10-minutes-walk.


House Rules:
- No party and no loud noise on the balcony !
- No music nor any noise from 10PM to 8AM !
- Respect the night rest of the neighbors !
- Smoking allowed only on the balcony.

Eeh. We wouldn’t return. We stayed five nights. Gorgeous view of the water from the balcony. Close to the beach. Not too terribly far from Barcelona city center (25min by train). R1 train station close by. Comfortable beds.Shower wand holder broken that made showering challenging. Notified the host on day two. Host denied knowing shower was broken but the screw on the holder was corroded so clearly had been broken for a while. Secondary shower wand holder was faulty as well. Also, several dead gnats, flies, and mosquito carcasses smashed on the walls and ceilings. I understand that bugs come inside and fly around but to not clean dead bugs off of the walls is neglectful and just made the entire place feel gross. As a traveler, I would want to know prior to booking.

Wonderful

Could not have pictured a better place to stay. The view is amazing and it's honestly very nice to just be a little outside of Barcelona. Kerstin was a fantastic host as well.

Just Right

The flat is just as described with a beautiful view of the ocean. We weren’t able to use the balcony during our visit due to some repairs but our host set us up in a way to still enjoy the view safely. Read the description carefully, there is no lift and this place is on the top floor with spectacular views. Pack light and wear your trainers. The neighborhood is lovely and very quiet; a little restaurant and food market are a few steps away and the train station is one block from the residence. You will enjoy coming back to this lovely, peaceful oasis after the hustle bustle of the city center. Book and enjoy!

Great location with awesome views and easy to get to city central with train every 15mins. Really good tapas bar just up the road.

3 day in Montgat

Kristen was amazing on responding. The place is perfect for a relaxing at the bech, very quiet. Short walk to the train station. Uber doesn't come out this far but train and metro are very easy to figure out if you want to go Barcelona. We had a wonderful stay.

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und hat uns und unseren Kindern ausreichend Raum geboten. Der schöne Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Absprache mit Kerstin, der Vermieterin, war unkompliziert und verbindlich. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Montgat im Juni

Unser Aufenthalt im Juni war sehr angenehm, von Check-in bis Check-out war alles toll geregelt. Wir haben viel Zeit mit den Kindern am Strand verbracht, die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet für eine Familie. Betten gut, Küche gut ausgestattet, Klimaanlage, Waschmaschine und Badewanne. Alles was eine Familie braucht! Klitzekleine Anmerkung, es gibt keine Mückenabwehr. Die muss selber mitgebracht werden oder kann vor Ort ganz einfach im 2 Min entfernten Supermarkt gekauft werden. Liebe Grüße

Relaxing Oceanview Apartment

Amazing stay in September, apartment is just as the pictures, the view is beautiful. You can hear the waves from the balcony. It is a short distance from downtown Barcelona 18 minutes. The train stop is aprox. 8 minute walk. I will say this apt. is on the 5th floor, and it only has stairs. Also, the surrounding area involves a lot of stairs, as is, a lot of Europe. Barcelona is on the side of hills. Now having said that, we did get some great exercise to counteract the incredible Spanish food.

The perfect location if you're visiting Barcelona

I'll start off by saying we loved our stay at this property, although there were a few hiccups. First the bad news, when we checked in we were told the exterior window shade on the balcony did not work and a part was being ordered. It would've been nice to have that as after 8am it was just too hot to enjoy the balcony, The owner did try to help us out with a patio umbrella, but it wasn't very functional. The first time we tried to use the laundry washer it broke and although we were there for 15 days that became a bit of a problem not doing laundry. Again the owner tried her best to help us out by allowing us to use the facilities in two other apartments for a day at a time. Other than two little glitches the stay was amazing. The owner was always quick to answer any questions or try to work around any issues stated above. One word of advice to any potential renters. Be prepared for stairs, there are a lot of them. The apartment is on the 4th floor and theres stairs leading to the entrance door. Also if you have children, the beach (not just this one, but it seemed most beaches) are very steep. 3 steps into the water and your up to your neck. Like I said, we were there for 15 days, and everything else was as stated in the add. Transit (rail) is a 5-10 minute walk and another 25mins to get into downtown Barcelona. You could have a busy day in the city with all the hustle and bustle then come back to your peaceful apartment where the sound of the waves put you to sleep each night. Kirstein, the owner, was very helpful and did everything in her power to help us enjoy the stay. She even arranged our car to the airport when we had to leave. Would I go back and rent this property again? In a heartbeat ! I can't explain how I miss my morning coffee on the balcony watching the sunrise, the fresh bread from the local bakery, and the relaxing days just hanging out on the beach. I would highly recommend this property to those interested in the area.

Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Alles hat sehr gut funktioniert. Die Lage im vierten Stock ohne Aufzug war für uns okay. Betten hart, tlw. durchgelegen. Toller Strand in wenigen 100m Fussweg, mit vielen Stufen. Lokale freundliche Windsurfschule und stand-up-paddeling. Dusche am Strand, Toiletten nur am Wochenende geöffnet. Parkplatz in 10min Fussweg. Kaum Restaurants, 3 Supermärkte. Mit der Regionalbahn ist man in 20 Minuten für gut 1 € in Barcelona. Etwas nervig war es, dass die lokale Jugend bis spät Ball gespielt hat und jeden Tag Böller gezündet hat.

Très bon séjour dans cet appartement

Il est très fonctionnel et bien équipé. Quelques commerces juste à côté sont bien appréciables ainsi que sa proximité avec la plage . De plus , il est tout près de la gare de Montgat Nord , nous avons pu aller à Barcelone tous les jours grâce au train qui nous emmène ensuite directement au métro !!! Bref parfait pour retrouver le calme après une longue journée de visites à Barcelone.

Schönes Appartment

Das Appartement ist schön eingerichtet und sauber. Vom Balkon aus sieht man auf das Meer hinaus bis nach Barcelona. Für fünf Erwachsene ist es etwas eng, aber machbar. Einzigst die Treppen sind negativ zu erwähnen, da zu den Treppen bis in den 4. Stock noch viele Treppen bis an den Strand und zum Bahnhof hinzukommen. Im Oktober hatten die meisten Lokale in der Nähe zum Appartement leider geschlossen.
