Cozy Guest House with Hot Tub and Pool in Wimberley, TX

Our cute and cozy guest house is now available for vacation rentals. The property is located on a wooded hilltop overlooking Wimberley with stunning views of the valley. It is the perfect location for those looking for a quiet place to stay while in the area for shopping or special events. It is only minutes away from the Wimberley Square.

There are two separate guest areas located in the same building. The downstairs has a private bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, full bath, king bed and sleeper sofa in the living area.

The upstairs has a large open area, queen bed, 2 bunk beds and sleeper sofa. There is a kitchenette with sink, microwave oven and refrigerator. It has a large bath with shower. Keurig coffee makers are included in both units along with the pods.

To be clear, you would be renting the entire house, not just one level. We don't ever rent the levels separately. Access to the upper level is by the outside stairs on the side of the house.

We have DISH Satellite service and there are large flat panel TVs on both levels with Netflix available downstairs. We also have free Wi-Fi service.

There is a large stone patio with hot tub and Weber charcoal grill. We also feature a swimming pool just off the patio that is fully surrounded by a wooden deck. There is an outdoor shower next to the hot tub.

A walking trail begins near the patio and winds past a sitting area, on past the tree house and ends at another sitting are on the opposite side.

People come to Wimberley from all over the country to enjoy the quaint village, shop at the Wimberley Market Days or for weddings and other special events. Our Buttercup guest house is the perfect spot to spend the night, rest and relax before or after your activities.

Buttercup is situated on a high hill overlooking the Wimberley Valley. We have 5 wooded acres. There is a main house and guest house located on the property. Guests have exclusive use of the patio, hot tub and swimming pool during their stay.

Perfect for our family of 5. We loved the quiet location, beautiful views and the pool and hot tub. The owners live across the driveway from the guesthouse, but we never saw them and was not an issue at all. The place was SO clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We brought some canopies for extra shade and spent a lot of time outdoors on their playground and playing in the pool. Highly recommend

My Husband and I were looking for a place for a little R & R, and our stay here was just the place. The only complaint that we do have is the WiFi here was not able to get our Texas Ranger games. We are true Ranger Fans. We spent most of our time pool side which was clean and so relaxing. We were always greeted by adorable deer and other wild life.If your looking for a quite peaceful place to stay this is it.

We chose this location mainly for the pool, and it didn’t disappoint—my kids had a blast! I hadn’t realized the property was split into two separate sections, but it turned out just fine. The place was cozy, clean, and had a peaceful atmosphere. Overall, it was a pleasant and quiet stay, and my kids even asked if we could stay longer. I’d definitely consider coming back again.

Family Trip to the Blanco River

We love our yearly stay in Wimberly for a family reunion on the Blanco River. This house has everything we need and more. We can not wait to come back next year.

Great spot!

This is a great spot! Close to town, beautiful view. The owner was very kind and had a few snacks that came in handy. We loved having separate rooms with separate bathrooms it was like two apartments. (Beds were comfy AC works great) We would definitely book this again!

Peaceful

If you are looking for a clean, secluded and relaxing place to stay then look no further. This place has everything you need for a wonderful quiet, enjoying wildlife and swimming. The main house is very close to the guesthouse, but there was no traffic and we never saw anyone there, but once, so private but… As far as we could tell It was😊 and if you’re wondering if it’s nice and cool, it is very very comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and everything was spotless.

We had a very great stay! We spent 4 days in Wimberley and this spot was perfect. It had beautiful views (we got to see deer, other wildlife) and the pool and hot tub were a great touch. The home itself was a very clean and had everything we needed for our 4 day stay (utensils, towels, coffee machine) It was also a perfect drive for everything we wanted to do nearby. We would definitely recommend this home for a Wimberly trip! Marylyn was a responsive host for everything we needed and questions we had before our drive up.

Wonderful Wimberley

Exceeded expectations. We loved the location at top of hill and the walks around the place past the lemon tree to the treehouse. The guest house had all we needed and easy to slide into and relax. Hot tub was well used by the adults as was the pool although water a tad cold but ok once in! Finally the views over the hill country real pleasing on the eyes.

We had a wonderful time staying at the guesthouse! There was plenty of space upstairs and downstairs. We felt very comfortable during our entire stay. The property is so gorgeous. We especially loved how close it was to downtown Wimberley.

We can’t wait to stay again

What a perfect place for two couples. The upstairs / downstairs provides togetherness, but privacy also. The pool was clean, refreshing, and crystal clear. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved having a refrigerator upstairs too. The full size coffee maker was appreciated in the mornings. The location is quiet and remote, yet just a few minutes to town. Super comfortable bed. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back.

Great weekend

My second time staying here it’s amazing helps you forget about everything and just relax. The pool was great as the jacuzzi. The beds were clean and very cozy really easy to fall asleep in. We had everything we needed from plates, silverware, iron, extra blankets and plenty of space to sleep in. I recommend this place to everyone that would love to spend a nice relaxing time with family or spouse. Thank you for allowing us to stay

We had a great time. Views where breathtaking. Loved the privacy around. It was perfect. The location was well equipped with all amenities needed, it was like our home away from home. Enjoyed it. Will definitely come back.
