Small cabin in the woods

🌱 Welcome to Les Masades , an eco-retreat in the Cévennes National Park ! Enjoy a peaceful and rejuvenating stay in this tranquil, natural setting. Whether you're traveling as a family, a couple, or solo, this unique location at the crossroads of the Gard, Lozère, and Ardèche regions is ideal for relaxation and tranquility. Numerous outdoor activities await you nearby: hiking, swimming in Lake Villefort or the Chassezac River, and treetop adventure courses.

🛖 The small cabin is located in the middle of the forest , near a stream , for a calm and rejuvenating environment! It offers very basic comfort, for nature lovers.



🛌 The interior of the small cabin includes a double bed , an armchair , storage space and a wood-burning stove for winter.



🍳 The kitchen is set up inside the cabin during the autumn/winter season, and outside for the spring/summer period. It includes basic amenities: two hotplates and cooking utensils (pots, pans, plates, coffee makers, teapots, etc.) to help you make the most of your stay. A refrigerator is available in one of the eco-village's common areas.



☀️ The small cabin is connected to a solar panel for lights and a USB port for charging mobile phones. There is no 220V electricity access in the cabin, but outlets are available in the common areas of the site.



🚻 The toilet is a dry toilet outside the accommodation, with a beautiful view of the stream! In the summer, there is a solar shower outside the cabin, and in all seasons, you can use the communal bathroom , located a few minutes' walk from the small cabin with shower and water toilet.



🗣 From the small cabin, you have access to the common areas of the eco-village. The village square is a place for sharing and conviviality where holidaymakers and residents of Masades can meet.



💦 The natural swimming pool is also a relaxing spot with its wooden deck and sun loungers, perfect for soaking up the summer sun. The pool's water comes from our spring and is naturally filtered by reeds. Generally, the pool is suitable for swimming from the end of May to the end of July, as the water level drops too low to replenish it after that time.



🧶 You can also discover the Masades shop , which offers items and services from the artisans of the hamlet: basketry, herbal teas, honey, jewelry, etc. Wifi access and a teleworking space are available there. You can also use the internet with the 4G network throughout the place.



🥑 By reservation, you can enjoy on-site Rebozo relaxation treatments offered by one of the residents of the eco-village, as well as vegetarian breakfasts or dinners prepared with organic products.



🎒 Nearby, you can discover many tourist attractions:

- hikes , which can be done as day trips, starting from Les Masades or in the surrounding area (Mont Lozère, Bois de Païolive)

- swimming spots (Villefort lake, Chassezac gorges, Mazet Plage)

- bike rides in the region

- local markets , in Les Vans or Villefort

- Discovering local heritage (La Garde Guérin)

- Mas de l'Ayre Tree Climbing Park



🚰 The small cabin is supplied with untreated drinking spring water . Sheets and towels are not provided , please bring your own (140 x 200cm). It is also possible to rent them on site upon prior request.



🥾 For your comfort, we recommend you bring closed shoes and flashlights or headlamps for the night.

🧘🏼‍♀️ In our eco-village, we have chosen a lifestyle close to nature , vegetarian , and free from tobacco and alcohol . Therefore, we ask that you refrain from consuming these substances in the communal areas. Thank you!
