The positives first: the unit was clean, and the hosts were friendly and clearly trying to make a living from this property. Unfortunately, that’s about where the good ends.The space itself has serious issues. The smell in the unit is musty and unpleasant—an air purifier was provided, but it didn’t make a difference. The A/C worked, but it was old, visibly molding, and made the place feel more unsafe than comfortable. The interior has exposed rafters that give off a creepy, unfinished vibe.Outside is worse. There’s a reason you won’t find exterior pictures in the listing—the property is full of rubbish, and the buildings are run-down and dilapidated. Adding to the discomfort, dogs roam freely around the property. While there’s a note that says, “let us know if the dogs become a nuisance”—well, here’s that note. They were a nuisance. Not everyone is a dog person, and they should be confined when guests are staying.I understand the effort to make money from the property, but in its current condition, it really shouldn’t be rented out. I cannot recommend this place to others.
