Located within a short drive between Okemo Mountain, Bromley Mountain, and Magic Mountain, this gorgeous secluded cabin is perfect for outdoor activities. During the winter, visit the mountains for skiing and snowboarding, or go ice skating and sledding in the backyard! In the summer, you can enjoy hiking and mountain biking in the mountains, along with many water sports activities at Lake Rescue. At the end of the day, you can cook a meal in the fully equipped kitchen and snuggle up with some Netflix after a game of ping-pong. Or, if it's a warm summer night, you can grill a meal and sit by the fire pit outside as you stargaze. When it's time to say goodnight, you'll have your choice of the loft with a king bed, a bedroom with a queen bed, or multiple twin beds.

We loved the cabin. Cozy, clean, beautiful scenery, secluded but close to townā€”just what we were looking for. The fire pit is awesome, and it was great looking out to the mountains from there and from the deck. The only things we'd change are if the sliding glass doors all opened and if the screen doors worked properly. We would have loved to open everything up to get fresh air since it was warm out and there isn't A/C. (That said, there are fans, so that was great.) Also, and this isn't anyone's fault, there were so many wasps out on the back deck. But we contacted the company, and they sent someone out right away to help. The communication with the company was amazing, and we were very happy with their service. We'd definitely visit again.

Really nice house in a beautiful place. We had a great time. Plenty of space with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms are great. Great kitchen and grill made it easy to feed lots of people. Also lots of great things to do in the house already. One criticism for me was the screen doors. They were not all set in the rails and some of them had holes that let bugs in. It got a bit warm in the house during the day time with no air conditioning so it wouldā€™ve been better if the screen doors were fixed/replaced so those could be left open to have some air.

Worked really well for us

We were only 4 people, and it felt huge. The cabin is nice, but does show some aging here and there. Nothing that was an actual issue, though. The property with the pond, the fire pit area and the little playground is absolutely gorgeous, though. The cabin offers plenty of space with 4.5 separate sleeping areas (there is a large futon in the game room that could be used in an emergency, I guess). The livingroom/kitchen area is very spacious with great views. Will definitely consider this for future trips to this area.

Had a great stay, cozy log cabin, beds were very comfortable. So nice to have a few garbage bags, paper towels, soaps and toiletries!! Also some coffee filters:) Hot tub was great too!

Girls weekend 2024

We are a group of 5 ladies who get together twice a year. So itā€™s important that we find a place that is accommodating for all of our different needs. This place was in a gorgeous location, it offered lots of activities, ie. Close to hiking trails and boutique shops, and it also offered activities on site. Ie. Camp fire, swing set for kids, a private lake with a dock, ping pong table and plenty of games, puzzles and books to read. The place was very clean, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms and kitchen fully stocked and it was easy to use the stove ovens to keep the place warm. In regards to service, it was easy to get and lock up, the instructions for the stove oven, floor heaters, washer and dryer and stove oven were fully visible and easy to use. We were also impressed with the quick response when we needed help with the dishwasher that ended up working just fine. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would come back again. :)

Beautiful cabin, but not the best of stays

I'll try to keep this brief. Pros: the cabin itself and surrounding areas is gorgeous. We loved the fire pit, it was undoubtedly the best part of the stay, other than the uneven ground we had to meander over. A TON of campfire/wood stove wood to use! I loved that. Great wi-fi connection Fun use of ping pong table and darts cons: it gets hotter than Hades in there (think Greenhouse effect). There was only one working fan out of five fans. So get used to opening the windows and doors every day, that is if you can get them open because a lot of them were stubborn. No one shut off the alarm before our arrival, so a care taker had to come out to disarm it, because we couldn't find the phone that kept ringing. Beds are hard as rocks. Only soft bed is on the lower floor. Bring a foam pad or something comfortable to lay on your bed if you rent this cabin. Mice are present. Droppings were found on the counters every morning we woke up. Giant spider-webs by the wood pile that are strong as fishing monofilament. No joke. Over all, we won't be back to this location. It's without a doubt gorgeous. But between being hot, grossed out by mice droppings and having a back ache every morning from the beds, I'll find a different place next time.

Scenic View and Great Accommodation

The location has great view and the glass windows really allowed you to enjoy the view. Host is very considerate and included soap and other supplies during our stay. It was an easy check in and checkout process. Awesome stay, we definitely recommend.

Second Year Rental and Not as good

This was my second time renting this house, and I was pretty disappointed. No key in top key holder thing outside so had to call emergency line to get the code for the other key holder which had the ā€œemergency keyā€. No paper towels, napkins, or any towels for that matter. Light in front bedroom with two twins burned out. Hot tub overfilled and covered in ice around stairs to get in. Hot tub wasnā€™t working had to call manager again - we got the house for the hot tub so first night was a busy. Clothes frozen in ice around the hot tub stairs from previous renters - gross. My friend fell and her herself badly from ice covered not working hot tub. House dusty and didnā€™t feel fresh. Property managerā€™s son who helped us out was great but first night no hot tub, injury, and basically no supplies.

Cabin in the hills

The house is great. The kids had fun with the games and ping pong tables. We loved the view and the comfy house. The only thing I would add (and this has nothing to do with the quality of the house) is that we skied the entire day before at Okemo. The GPS took us through a dirt road in the pitch black darkness, and it was quite treacherous. If you rent and are doing the same, make sure you take route 100 to the rental house. It's all paved that way and is only 2 min longer of a drive.

Beautiful Cabin, Could be Cleaner

The cabin is beautiful, on a piece of property with no close neighbors. Check in was easy, but communication was tough (tried to get a question answered and it took three contact attempts to get a clear answer to an easy question). The main surfaces were clean (kitchen, floors, etc.), but the upper windows/skylights were filled with cobwebs and the barrier at the loft railing was dirty looking. One of the living room chairs has a large stain that makes it feel dirty. Please be aware that the listing is a bit misleading with regard to bedrooms. It does have the number of beds stated, but the queen is in the basement and the king is in the loft, both of which require a tight spiral staircase to access. The rooms on the main floor each have two twin beds, but there is no "primary" bedroom on the main floor.

Awesome cabin

The cabin and the surrounding property were gorgeous. The winding staircase was a little difficult to get luggage up and down it though. I'm not sure management knows this but, the coffee pot is broken and needs to be replaced. There wasn't a garbage disposal to use and the utensil holder in the dishwasher was missing all together.

Beautiful Property needs a Thorough Cleaning

The property was beautiful with a gorgeous view. The cleanliness of the house was less than expected. Cobwebs, stained bedspread, dirty cabinets, and handprints all over the loft windows gave the impression that it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a while. There were also several lightbulbs that were burned out on arrival. If it were cleaned up properly, it would be a great place to stay.

Take caution before booking this property

The property was extremely dirty, no effort was made to clean it for us and we received no response from local support the entirety of our stay. I would not trust this property or property manager, Vacasa, with my vacation again.

Overall a nice stay

Up until a couple of days prior to our visit communication from Vacasa was poor, however 2 days before our arrival we were put in touch with a local contact who was very helpful from that point on. The house was pretty easy to find but the driveway comes up quick! Our biggest complaint was the condition of the house upon arrival. It was hot, stuffy and smelled. Thermostats were reading in the 80's, all of the windows were closed and the door to the furnace room in the basement was open allowing the oil smell to spread up to the main level. The floors in the bedrooms needed sweeping and vacuuming especially around the edges. But once we opened all of the windows, turned the fans on, did a little sweeping and vacuuming and closed the furnace room door we settled in nicely and had a great time. We enjoyed the large yard and playscape very much. We spent a lot of time out on the deck admiring the beautiful, peaceful view. We even tried out the telescope in the loft at moonrise a couple of nights! The large (well stocked) open concept kitchen and living room areas were perfect for us as we made all of our meals at the house and with 3 little ones running around it was easy to cook and play and hang out together. We even found a baby gate that could section off this area so we didnt have to worry about the kids and the staircases. Plenty of bedroom and bathroom space and when it was too hot to play outside we retreated to little rec room in the basement. It really is a very nice property!

Perfect Getaway

Great space, we had 9 people in the house for the weekend and it didnā€™t feel crowded. Kitchen is great for hosting, grill worked well and the wrap around deck with the view was picture perfect. If youā€™re going in the summer months pack fans, the house gets hot during the day but with a fan in the window it cools down a lot at night. We also brought a blow up boat for the pond and the kids loved it. Thereā€™s a ton of bugs so bug spray is a must and there were a lot of bees but the host has hornet/ wasp spray that we used. Itā€™s a quiet, relaxing location and the fire pit, pond and play set were a huge hit for all ages. Canā€™t wait to be back!
