Excellent location close to restaurants, bars, and lots to do. Cute apartment with just enough space for 2-3 people. Bathroom wall was not the cleanest and the bathroom sink did not drain well. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great central location!!

Clean- access via 2 flights of stairs- not recommended for bulky luggage- we had a wagon for the kids- lugging up and down stairs was not easy but the location was great- easy to walk to different locations- different locations to eat for all meals- fantastic

Great place, lots of stairs

This was a great little apartment, very close to lots of sight seeing opportunities!! There is a market right below which is super convenient. The Miss Saigon Vietnamese restaurant is a couple doors down, I highly recommend!! One thing to note is 4 levels of narrow stairs that can be exhausting if you'll be in and out a little.

BEST LOCATION

We enjoy our first trip to Philly. The apartment was close to everything we wanted to see. I would definitely stay here again.

Philly thanksgiving

Really nice accommodations. I would definitely book again as it was perfect for 2 people with different sleeping schedules too. The beds being separated by a wall was a bonus I didn’t expect from the pictures and queen size too!! So many things to do in walking distance

Great location, very noisy

The owner is excellent - very responsive.Extremely loud street noise at night so we barely slept. There are 60 stairs to get to the unit...with suitcases, it is tough. The unit is nice enough but we wouldn't stay again because of the noise and the stairs.night

Great Location

Walking distance to EVERYTHING! Cute apartment with basic amenities. The mattresses were a bit firm for my liking. Would stay here again👍

Perfect spot for our 3 night stay. It was clean and beautifully decorated. It was close to restaurants and the buses. Be prepared for lots of stairs. We (2 adults, 2 kids) had a wonderful stay here.

Good-Location was great-Having two separate bedrooms was convenient for privacy. -Beds were comfortable-Access to fridge/stoveBad-Getting access to the rental was challenging. Due to prior reviews, I reached out to the owner the day before to confirm access details and he said “tomorrow”. Upon landing an hour after check in time, I still had not received the check in details. Thankfully the owner answered when I called and said oh, I’ll send them now. This added unnecessary stress and should have been handled timely.-The WIFI was non-existent most days. The advertisement even points out that the place comes with Disney. It doesn’t help if the wifi doesn’t work. Although we watched little TV, after a long day touring we decided to watch some sports and had to stream on our phone since the wifi was freezing every few seconds. The TV is incredibly slow.-There was no hand soap in the bathroom. We had to use the dish soap to wash our hands. That’s a basic amenity we would have expected.-Also, there were no top sheets on the beds, the pillows were not comfortable and the bath towels were worn. -In general, the place did not feel clean.

Perfect location!

This place was so cute and perfect for our family of 4. My daughter is 12 and son is 17. The beds were very comfortable. The location was great! We could walk to everything! We even walked from the train station with our rolling luggage. The owner was awesome and helped accomodate us when we needed something. Highly recommend- only wish we booked for longer!

The best location!

The apartment was better than the listing described. A perfect location for our trip. We parked our car across the street in the garage and never needed it all week. Very clean and comfortable. There are lots of stairs (65 to be exact) but so worth it. Loved being on the top floor so it was fairly quiet.

Fantastic experience & location

Absolutely perfect stay! The apartment was immaculate & the extra touches were lovely. We appreciated the coffee pods, snacks, and having a washer/dryer in the apartment. The location couldn’t be better. Walkable to the so many attractions & restaurants as well as right on a bus line. We had an evening flight out of PHL and they were so gracious in letting us store our luggage after checkout. Highly recommend & would definitely stay here again! Thank you for everything, you helped make my son’s birthday extra special.

Chic Urban Oasis Flat

Stylish, and tastefully furnished! Perfect location for all the Center City and Gayborhood attractions, dining, and shopping. In-unit washer and dryer were a godsend! All the basics like heating, water pressure, wi-fi, and kitchen furnishings were top of the line. If I were twenty-five years younger, and single, I would want to live here!

Comfortable & Clean

The stay was very good. Everything was well-equipped, responsive owner, and accurate instructions for everything. Would happily stay again. Tons of shops, landmarks, and restaurants are all within walking distance. I would only say 1 ick was when we tried to use the washer & dryer one of them was not working properly at the time and there was no detergent provided to wash the clothes but other than that everything else was perfect! Thank you!

Nice place but not for elderly

Access and entry was fine. Biggest issue was the fact that there were 65 steps to climb before reaching the rooms. Both my associate and I were in our 70's and have had significant lower extremity surgeries. I did not look forward to climbing or descending those stairs. The TV did not pick up "regular" channels so we were unable to watch live NCAA basketball there. Otherwise, the facility was clean, comfortable, and had very close access to the subway, which was a great plus. Also, lots of good places to eat nearby.

Expected better

I had to reach out to the property owner for check-in information. I messaged on the app twice and then called him. He told me that he didn't have my reservation which was troubling. He did find my reservation and sent me the details. We didn't get the information until after check-in time and without any sort of apology or explanation. At first glance, the apartment is clean. As you look closer though, it needs a good deep clean. The floors were sticky, there's mildew in the shower (none of us used it), and just an overall dusty, dirty feel. There were only two flat pillows per bed. The divider between rooms was just a short piece of plywood with some ripped up foam on it. It could be a great place, but it needs some attention.

Super cute, very nice location

Apartment is very nice, modern, cozy. The overhead lighting is really pretty. I had an event near Rittenhouse square, it was about a 10-15 min walk. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. The lock is a little tricky, but if you think of it as a deadbolt (which it is) that makes it easier. It doesn't line up perfect so you have to adjust the door a bit. There are a lot of steps, so if that's not your jam, don't stay here. There are 2 very nice bedrooms with queen beds. There is a passageway between them so if one side snores, (no different than a hotel)the other will hear. There is a range, small fridge/freezer, microwave, keurig, pots and pans, dishes etc. I would definitely stay here again.

Never able to get access

First let me say that the main problem possibly was with the vrbo interface vs the owner - however, we were never able to access the unit, and the owner is not responding to my request for a refund. I never received access info before checkin time from the owner, and despite calls with 2 vrbo customer service agents, who said they would contact the owner - no response. Finally I ended up getting a much more expensive hotel. Eventually at 10:11pm I got access info from the owner - 6 hours and 11 minutes after checkin time. Too late! I requested a refund from the owner, who never replied, and then talked with 3 vrbo agents. The last one finally escalated my case, but I have heard nothing so far. It is now 5 days since our planned stay - with me out a whole lot of money, and nobody seeming to view this as their problem. I have used vrbo other times with perfect outcomes, but this time was a disaster. I would be very hesitant to ever use vrbo again. I was required to fill in all responses, but in fact I have no opinion on cleanliness of unit or accuracy of listing, never having seen it.
